Everyone should be aware that this is a literate role play, which means you should have 2-3 good paragraphs with at least 5-8 sentences per paragraph. We're not expecting you to write a novel, but it'd be nice to read your post and feel like we know exactly what you're getting at and why your character makes the decisions they do.
This also means we expect you to have good grammar and sentence structure. It is just not enjoyable to read someone’s posts who has so many mistakes it leaves you guessing what they’re trying to say.
If you don’t know about levels of literacy, I suggest reading here
Their entire guide is actually a great resource, and I highly recommend everyone read ie before making or joining any future roleplays. The link can be found here.
From this point on, we’re adding a three strike system. Each time you break from making your post to guidelines, you get a strike. At 3 strikes, we’re going to ask you to resign your character and leave the roleplay.
I realize this may sound harsh, but it’s not fair to everyone who came into the role play thinking everyone was going to be up to literate standards, only to have to stumble their way through other peoples posts.
We're going to keep track of your strike record in this post.
If you've broken guidelines, we will send you a pm letting you know you've received a warning. From there, you can either edit your post or dispute your case. If you do not modify your post or reply to the pm with an explanation within 24h, you will receive your first strike.
Upon your second offence, you will not be given the opportunity to dispute, and will simply receive a pm with your strike alert.
If this happens a third time, you will be get your final notice and your third strike.
At this point if you break guidelines once more, your character slot will be revoked and you will be asked to leave.
I expect everyone to read and reply to this. If you've read the post and understand the terms, copy this and reply to the thread with it.
I (put your username here), have read and understand the guidelines for being a part of the Ƭяαρρє∂ role play.
By replying to this thread, I prove that I am now aware that if I do not comply to the rules, I may receive up to three strikes before I am removed from the role play, and accept these terms.
