This thread is for the Metaplot round 1 battle for Trae. Only a member of staff or ShinyObsessed should post here.

Subtract -5 from attacks that use an element the target is resistant to. Add +5 to attacks the target is weak against.
To battle, first make a post rolling the die stating only the action that you are doing. Once the total has been calculated, go edit the post with an actual short paragraph of action.
Be sure to state what it is you are doing in each post, keep a tally of your current HP at the bottom of your post. If you gain HP be sure to note how much you had before the healing was done, followed by what it is AFTER the healing.

All of the Possessed humans have glowing eyes. It was speculated that the color hinted at which element the Malice controlling the human was most attuned to. Blue for water/ice, red for fire, purple for wind, green for earth/plant. Other colors were present for those with other elements. Avon had taken volunteers to go out and rescue these humans from the grasp of the Malices, together they went down to the town and spread out to fight off any possessed humans.
Your Meta has run into a possessed human. They both face each other, ready for a fight. The human makes the first move, sending out an elemental attack aimed to slow down your Meta.

Trae offered to help for two reasons. The first was to help keep an eye on Sha and make sure he didn't go overboard. The second was simply because he had useful powers and it was the right thing to do if one had the capability.
He sighed when he was separated from his red headed friend. So much for reason one. Luckily, here was a human with glowing eyes. Hm. He wasn't sure who was creepier. Probably the human. Humans just weren't supposed to have glowing yellow eyes.
Trae saw the electricity coming and knew it would not be good to be hit by it. He quickly threw up a strong barrier to block the attack.

He hadn't really expected the barrier, nor the electricity to bounce back and hit him. He grunted, pushing through the pain. Well, if he was going to put up a barrier in front of him, he'd just have to go above. He raised a hand in the air, summoning a small bolt of lightening to strike down where Trae was standing.

Trae braced himself for the over head thunderbolt. Ouch! Man he really hated lightning. He could have blocked it, but honestly it was very much so time to start incapacitating this guy. The possessed human was already in the range of his toxic darts. So he went for it, thrusting out a hand and shooting one out, aiming for the human's right shoulder.Action: Attacking with Dart Darts: 19/20 Current HP: 61/75 Defending Power: Damage Done: 16 (I messed with Trae's powers so that they're teen level)

Was that a dart? He grunted, looking down at his shoulder for a moment before starting to feel a little odd. Great. Poison. He turned his gaze back to Trae, and then raised a hand to shoot a bolt of lightening from his palm at the teen.

Trae threw up another barrier hurriedly to block the annoying lightning. He barely winced at the lone spark that found his foot. He waited patiently for his toxin to cause paralysis.

He sent out another lightening bolt, and then realized his legs were beginning to feel heavy. Within a matter of minutes he collapsed onto the ground, having trouble controlling his body.

Trae threw up yet another barrier, this one weaker then the others as he misjudged the power of the newest lightning bolt. He winced as a few sparks got through. He was pleased however to see the human finally fall. His toxin wasn't deadly, yet. But it sure was useful in incapacitating enemies.

It was a struggle to stand and he eventually stopped trying. He stayed on his hands and knees shooting a glare at the boy. Not wanting to give up he gave off electricity from his body as he tried hard to control it to move towards Trae.

Trae wished he could dodge and attack at the same time. But he had to take the hit, and shoot another Dart, hoping it would hurry up the affects, and yet not be too much toxin as to stop his little human heart.

He should have tried to dodge but he made the mistake of not. He felt a dizziness and his vision flow which made him feel sick. Try as he might it was hard to focus on Trae as his own body swayed a bit from side to side. A pissed look came to his face before he began to shoot electricity from his body wildly.

Trae recentered himself and cast a barrier to protect himself from the wild lightning.
