Kikyō Castle (桔梗城, Kikyō-jō; Literally meaning "Chinese Bellflower Castle") is a Japanese-style castle located somewhere in Konoha. It features two large shibi, shaped like shachihoko. It was the location where Dosu Kinuta met his end at the hands of Gaara, the jinchūriki of Shukaku. Hayate Gekkō was also killed near the castle by Baki. The castle was destroyed in either the Invasion of Konoha or Invasion of Pain.
A fair while after its destruction, one of the previous Hokage ordered its reconstruction but unlike its previous rendition opened it to the publice. The castle interior hosts many recreational centres such as an art gallery, museum and numerous cafes and restaurants. The grounds were transformed into a beautiful public park with a hedge labyrinth and many beautiful flower beds. There are small playgrounds dotted about the grounds.
The castle and grounds are surrounded by a large wall with only one gate into the grounds.

'Hideyoshi' arrived in a plume of smoke at the castle gates, looking around to ensure that he hadn't been followed to the site. This was the place he had chosen to be his grounds for tactic and evasion. Being in the guise of the Hokage made Izaya feel very uncomfortable due to the fact that everyone kept calling to him, saying good afternoon or some other such greeting. How did the man go anywhere to be alone when people wouldn't stop talking to him? In any event, the 'Hokage' stood out in the open, watching, quietly waiting for the Genin to finally realize that the games had begun and that it was their time to start the hunt. And know they would. Even at this distance Izaya had been able to hear the explosion brought about obviously by Hideyoshi's antics. It was his special way of drawing attention. Izaya wouldn't have minded if everyone went after the Hokage. That way he could just...do nothing for the day and give them all a failing grade. Then again he was bored and would have loved for something to do. The Uchiha watched and waited with his Sharingan active, even though it was hidden by the transformation.

She was at the back of the pack with a good amount of distance between her and Kota and Raito. Maybe around ten to twenty feet. The forest around her was absolutely gorgeous and she wished to look around, but it wasn't the right time. She stayed focused and on task as she dashed through the trees with the others. When Kota had called out that he had spotted the target up ahead, she mentally prepared herself. She went through all of her weaknesses and her strengths and knew where she should place herself when the time came. Soon, they had stopped in the trees overlooking the Hokage. 'Well, this is going to be quite the task. No backing out now!' She laughed desperately internally. Kota had jumped down and landed in front of who she assumed was the Hokage, but his reveal that this was not in fact the Hokage had sent her for a loop. Those were a great set of eyes that boy had. Kota had called the imposter, Izaya-sensei. "Who is Izaya?" She whispered to herself as she watched Kota go into an offensive stance. This was her signal that it was time to get serious. Yukiko had chosen to stay in the trees. Only to be called forth for a last minute save or distraction.  Izaya Uchiha || Sharingan ~Active~ || Jounin ╔════════════════════════════════════════════╗ The drowsiness he felt was starting to become more and more pronounced with each passing second. What was taking those Genin so long to make it to him? Had they all gone after Hideyoshi in place of himself? Or, judging by the transformation, it would be the other way around. They had gone after Izaya thinking that he was the weakest link, which was possibly the truth compared to the Hokage. But it seemed those assumptions were proven false when Kota appeared, facing him in a battle stance, poised to strike. Izaya looked directly at him and beyond through his peripheral to see the mass amount of Genin crowding behind the Hyuuga. This was even worse. They had all decided to gang up on the 'Hokage', which meant they had grossly underestimated Izaya by sending the smaller amount after him. It was not so either. The Hyuuga's eyes were clearly in effect, and he knew that the man standing before him was not the Hokage. At the very least Izaya wouldn't have to try and force himself to smile so much anymore. Doing so hurt his face. In a puff of smoke the transformation ended and there stood the Uchiha, Hideyoshi's hat still perched atop his head.
"It doesn't bother me much." Izaya's chakra control was excellent, and a technique such as the simple transformation did nothing to his reserves. He could have kept it up for a long time without getting tired, but there was no point in keeping up the facade seeing as he was up against Kota. He had expected that he would have been sent to fight him, but seeing the reality of it before his eyes made him giddy with excitement, excitement that he didn't show in the slightest. Hideyoshi's words ringing in his mind once more, he cocked his head to the side as an indication to the Hyuuga et al, then he started at a dash through the gates, heading towards the maze within the castle grounds. His intentions were simple. Test their skill and not just their strength. Doing open battle with all of them at once would not be in his favor if he was to hold back, and so he had chosen this location to make things a bit more interesting. They were each a threat that he had promised to go easy on. All save for Kota. He was a Hyuuga and deserved to be treated as one. The second he reached the entrance of the maze and passed through he hurled a Kunai behind him in the directly obvious path that would collide with Kota should he have been following. It was simply a way of saying without words 'let the games begin'.

~Human Wrecking ball~ Choki entered the area where his comrades went. He watched several of his team make further action to approach the target. He leaned over his his hands on his knees breathing heavily and first thing he did is he reach into his bag and pull out some chips and munched on one or two while he regained his breath. After catching his breath he took note of his comrades location and unlike them he took a easy to walk route that would eventually put him behind the target. Being in enemy territory he remained quiet and ever observant till he reached the target and then he will make his clan proud. As he was walking he saw A jounin run by and it made him stop in his tracks in question.. " who was that ?"

~The ninja with the silver lining~  Mood:Ready to fightWith: Izaya and Kota and the othersThere's always a silver liningRaito bounded through the trees following Kota closely, he wasn't letting him get far ahead, even if he was a chunin. He simply nodded when the target had been spotted, after following Kota to the edge of the forest he also followed him down. Rather than being as close to Izaya as Kota was he kept his distance slightly, knowing that he couldn't take him on close up and that Kota had a much better chance. Then Izaya ran into the woods, this confused Raito slightly but then he remembered this test wasn't just about battle capabilities and ran after, he heard Choki behind him and called back "Choki that's out target, move out!" He didn't look back as he yelled this though. Raito ran in after Izaya before Kota could, he followed his every twist and turn through the maze, until he reached the exit and saw a kunai flying back, he jumped to the side allowing it to skim his upper right arm. "Ugh that stings" he moaned then moved into an area some distance from Izaya and took a defensive stance knowing his opponent was tougher and he wasn't much of a fighter. He then said "Guessing you though Kota would go first huh? Or was that for anyone?" He ignored the pain in his arm.... Maybe you just need some help finding it? Raito ran in before Kota and followed Izaya closely

~Heart of Fire~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Yukiko growled in anger as the boys flew off into the maze. She could barely get a good enough angle to see what was happening down there from the tree she was in. With a huff of annoyance, she darted up on top of the wall that surrounded the grounds and followed in the direction everyone seemed to go. "Really? This doesn't work well at all! How in the heck am I going to see anything?" She threw up her arms in exasperation before deciding to throw the old plan out the window. Although, no new plan seemed to form in her head. Plus, she could spot Raito already been clipped by a kunai that was heading for Kota. She wasn't worried about a silly kunai. She was worried about when things started to get serious. "Think, Yukiko. Think!" She spoke to herself quietly. Deciding she knew nothing of this Izaya person, she would have to go down and see the fights close up and figure out her plan of action then. With a sigh of nervousness, she jumped down from the wall and headed after the boys in the maze. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Izaya Uchiha || Sharingan ~Active~ || Jounin ╔════════════════════════════════════════════╗ It was neither his duty nor his concern what happened to them other than to ensure that they didn't somehow die during the little test. Besides that it was his job to test them to their fullest potential, or close to it at the very best. Izaya hadn't noticed the Kunai he had thrown graze the young Genin's forearm in place of Kota's, neither did he turn to see all who was giving chase. The Uchiha simply ran at a controlled pace through the maze, just as uncertain of where he was going as everyone else surely was seeing as this was his first time really going through it as well. Sure he had wanted to make this challenging for them as much as himself, and a maze ensured that they learned to stay on their toes and be ready for the slightest change. Izaya, two concealed Kunai in either hand, threw one to his left that stuck itself perfectly into the hedge, and then the other he threw to the ground off to the right several paces from the first. Both Kunai had been rigged with bomb tags that would go off within a minute, which would create small explosions; he had prepared diluted versions of the regular bomb tags just for this test, that would alert everyone who was paying attention as to the exact location and put them back on the right track. Otherwise someone might be unlucky enough to run too close to them at the wrong time and end up getting caught in the minuscule explosions. Taking no more than two seconds to glance backwards just as he turned a corner, he noticed that the Genin known as Raito was the only one he could see. The Nara boy, able to use shadows to his advantage. This maze was filled with shadows at every crevice that would mark endgame for Izaya if he allowed himself to get caught, so he decided to take things into his own hands. His hands veiled by the blur of the undulating darkness within the maze, he formed several swift handseals, creating a perfect clone of himself right before him. The clone kept perfect stride right in front of him and ran in sync, which meant Raito would not even notice that a clone had formed. Izaya and his copy kept going until they reached a fork in the maze. That was the very moment that one went left and the other went right. Which was which would be nigh on impossible to differentiate, but it was certain that the lone Genin would have to choose on the fly for fear of losing sight of Izaya altogether. There was a hint however, a very illusive one that could easily be missed. Due to his fascination with Kunai and bomb tags, he had allowed one to fall to the ground right at his feet as he passed on the left fork. Concealed by the shadows in perfect symmetry it was as inconspicuous as something could be, but should the Nara boy take the left path, which was the path the clone had taken, the bomb would go off and send him flying. It was not strong enough to cause any real harm however, but he would have to have seen it coming or make the right guess to avoid it. The Uchiha hadn't forgotten about the others, but since none of them had rushed in with as much gusto as Raito had they were still a ways behind in the maze, and unless one of them had excellent tracking skills they would have a problem finding their way.

This environment was perfect for the Nara's shadow techniques but he hadn't used it on the move before and wasn't willing to try it now. "s**t I just gotta close the gap!" Then they approached a fork in the maze, it was a split second decision and he had to act "If you only go left nothing goes right!" he said confidently... So naturally he went left. Before he knew it something had exploded in his face and sent him flying backwards, it was then he realised Izaya must have thrown another kunai but this one had an exploding tag equipped. His head was buzzing as he hit the ground, he just lay there for a while he recovered his senses. Hopefully the others caught up somewhat. ... Maybe you just need some help finding it?

She kept close in order to make movements as quickly as he was moving. The leaves of the hedge passed by her in a solid blur as she made the twist and turns after Kota. Although, she had almost crashed into him when he came to a dead stop at a closed end. She ran her fingers through her long red hair in frustration. "Well that's awesome. Now we have to double back!" She turned back the way they had just arrived and notice a mild explosion happen. It didn't seem too far away and she would bet all the little money they had on the possibility of it being from Izaya. She whipped her head around to look at Kota and smirk. "I've got a feeling we should follow that smoke." She said sarcastically. Not waiting for an answer, Yukiko darted off in the direction of the bomb site. Once again the maze became one blurry green line as she flew through the maze, the only thing she relied on was her gut when in came to making turns. This could either be a good or bad thing. She was hoping for good as she made another random turn. Luckily for her it was a correct choice cause she then spotted Raito on the ground looking very disoriented. Yukiko rushed over to him to check that he was okay. "Are you alright, Raito?" She asked as she extended out a hand to help him up. She now took this time out of any to look behind her quickly to see if any of the other guys had followed her. Izaya was quickly fleeting and someone needed to continue after him. She didn't want to leave Raito by himself untill she was certain he was alright to be on his own. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then shook his head as he slowly brought himself up from the ground swaying slightly, then he propped himself against the hedge "I was heading left... But he made a clone at some point and one went each way" he messed up his long hair "I was heading left but a tag went off, go whichever way you want just be careful" He slowly pushed himself off the wall. His senses had near enough returned to normal as he walked back down his original path and then forced himself into a jog, he was jogging wobbly. When he gained his footing he sprinted through the maze round twists and turns looking for disturbances in the soil. He had to back track a few times as he kept hitting dead ends. Until one dead end he found Izaya or rather his clone and took a defensive stance. ... Maybe you just need some help finding it?OOC: Hey Jelly, hope you're ok with me running into your clone, if not lemme know and I'll change it.

She listened intently to the information about Izaya's whereabouts. Evidently, one of them would find the clone, and the other would find the real Izaya. Yukiko just hoped she didn't find the true self. She watched as he brought himself up to speed down the left side of the turn. Not waiting for the other's to catch up, Yukiko headed off in the other direction. Her feet pounded into the ground and she sped through the twists and turns. Which, actually, there weren't many turns, it was more of a straight shot. Finally she spotted Izaya. She couldn't tell then if it was a clone or the real him, She smirked to herself and sped up even more to catch up with him. Taking out equal fours of kunai and shuriken, Yukiko hurled them toward her staged enemy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
