The Konoha Cemetery is the place where the citizens of the village are buried after dying. Many famous shinobi, such as Hiruzen and Asuma Sarutobi, are buried there. The cemetery has also a sculpture at the front, representing the Will of Fire of the village. The sculpture has the kanji for Hokage (火影; Literally meaning "Fire Shadow") inscribed on its base. The cemetery maintenance is often the academy student's responsibility, which includes cleaning and placing fresh flowers on the graves. This cemetery is only reserved for citizens whose bodies are retrieved for burial, while the Memorial Stone is for those missing in action.

˹Suzuki Byakko˼
"Do you understand this game?"

"I so love playing this game that people call "life", from the very depths of my heart."

Never were there very many civilians visiting the graveyard. Only when there were new deaths, would the small lot become a flourishing place of activity. Perhaps cemeteries were only a result of denial- to those who refused to believe that their comrades, family, and friends had long since passed. Curious, though, that humans, as an entirety, work so diligently to preserve the past. Mayhaps, this was a result of longing, or reminiscence, or the inability to move forwards. Nonetheless, the traditions involving those who had passed were simply intriguing.
Suzuki stood at the entrance to the cemetery; he knew well that he would not enter the grounds. Perhaps, this was simply a place of which allowed him the freedom to think in a quiet place- a sacred place, where not another individual might bother him, while he contemplated. It was clear that no one would bother him here, unless the scenario were that of urgency. He let his eyes wander upwards, towards the glistening sky. The clouds were parting now, providing room for the sun's luminescent glow to breach the sky and extend its rays to those below. Suzuki's eyes fell back towards the extensive lot that stood in his very wake. Each tombstone had some etching in it, although it was evident that not each of those plaques carried a body beneath them. It was interesting, how anything in which could be retrieved to remind a person of one whom they had lost would be enough.
His gaze soon left the overall view of the tombstones, as it came into contact with the stone artwork of which represented the Will of Fire in the village, Konohagakure. It seemed odd that the sculpture representing the eternal will and vigilance of the village would lie in the cemetery. He, himself, had well witnessed that this flame still burned brightly, and from what he has known, he believed that it would continue to burn for as long as the village may wish it to. The previous thought recurred. Perhaps, this flame meant not that it had died with its members, but that it still lived on, even in those who had come past their time. Suzuki's gaze remained on the structure, as he let an invisible smile make its way partially across his face. That had been enough time spent, here, for the day.
On impulse, Suzuki rotated his body upon his heel, leaving his rear facing the entrance to the cemetery. Due to his intrigue which arose from the cemetery, a natural sense jolted through himself. He was simply left in a mood in which he profoundly studied the majority of his surroundings to their core. Upon an instinct, he began walking in the direction of the new Kikyou Castle. As an artist, he appreciated the art of others, and this was the perfect place within the village to do such.

"Though, I am unable to genuinely enjoy this game, unless I am a player."
