Stark's mission to take on the Hokage has failed.
He was seriously injured but the Hokage has made sure he's safe.
He is safe and sound at the Hospital, receiving treatment.
However, due to his manner while conducting the test, he has failed and will not be placed on the Hokage's squad.
Which means there is still a spot free!
