BASICS
Full Name: Halwyn Deverill.
Nicknames: Winnie, according to Daphne.
Age: Twenty-six.
Birthday: August 14th, 1386.
Sex: Male.
Nationality: Mishkanite, Panymese.
Alliance: The Fellowship of Mages.
Rank: Mage by birthright.
Occupation: General apothecary.
Aperture: The base of his neck, on his spine. With extensive use of his magic, Halwyn can become stiff and uncomfortable, unable to turn or bend quickly. If driven to extremes, he may become bedridden until he can move again.

APPEARANCE
Height & Weight: Six feet and three inches; approximately two hundred pounds.
General: Halwyn is a tall young man with a broad frame, standing at around six feet and three inches, with muscle distributed evenly from years of hard work as a child. His skin is pale, broadcasting his long-running Panymese heritage, and his eyes a pale blue, contrasting clearly with his dark brown hair. He keeps his hair long, but often ties it back in ponytails of varying kinds while he works to keep it out of his face. Because his family is not well-off (somewhere on the lower end of middle class), Halwyn's wardrobe is fairly limited. He keeps to the tunics that are popular in Panymese society, with a long-sleeved undershirt and a rope belt that allows him to tuck back the split ends of the tunic while he works. He often wears work boots and other "tough" shoes, and his color scheme is often muted and ordinary. He does possess a finer tunic of dark blue for the more formal Fellowship events his family attends every so often, but it is stashed away in his closet and rarely worn. He doesn't appear to put much effort into his appearance, because nice clothes would only get ruined on the family land and while he's experimenting.

PERSONALITY
On the whole, Halwyn is a happy young man. He has a generally good outlook on life, and is rarely depressed or angry. But on a more specific level, Hal gets very excited about things that he's interested in, and could babble on forever if someone simply asked about the general explanation. He's especially talkative about his experiments, namely the successful ones, and the oak grove. However, Hal has a naturally louder voice, and combined with his stature and passion, he can come across as forceful or overbearing, simply because he has an unfortunate habit of talking over people. He's not afraid to speak his mind, either, and can be a bit forceful about it. This can lead to him accidentally pushing others away or coming off as rude, which hinders his attempts at making connections with people and getting to know others. His younger sister, being so soft-spoken, does not stand a chance of taking control of their conversations and thus he does not even realize that he does it. As a child, Halwyn was the most outspoken in his group of friends, but was not the "leader," because he had troubles listening to others and was really only concerned with himself, just as he still is.

Because of how excitable he can be, he also has a difficult time focusing on things one at a time (at least in regards to research topics). He's easily distracted by interesting things, and this plays into the fact that he has yet to really choose his niche in terms of the family apothecary business. After he makes a successful sore throat salve, for example, he might move onto a completely different topic, such as luck charms! He'll also branch off during conversations and ramble on about only-slightly-related things, which can be annoying when you're trying to have a serious conversation with him. This distractibility lends itself well to his creativity, however, because it allows him to explore everything that he's interested in. That's part of the reason that he is constantly trying new things with his experiments and mixes, and he'll often depart form something entirely instead of trying a certain mixture and manipulating only one ingredient. As a result of his lack of organization, his limited accomplishments are usually achieved by luck or accident, not through any sort of scientific method, much to his grandmother's chagrin. Even when he was little, he would combine random herbs and spices and anything else he could get his hands on, trying to make potions and salves and things just like his parents did. He's always loved mixing things together and seeing what results, and likens it to a puzzle that has no guide (except in the case of old family recipes). However, because he has trouble keeping his focus, Halwyn has to finish things after he starts them. If he takes a break in between, he may lose interest and the experiment could sit unfinished for quite some time. He tries to resist distractions and those trying to talk to him while he's working, and often retreats to a private place to do it so that he can get it done uninterrupted.

Despite his conversational mistakes, Halwyn is actually very sociable. He's happy to be around others, and enjoys it very much, and will readily talk about almost anything. He likes to make connections and have a broad range of friends, so chances are that he'll have no problems talking to you if you seem nice. He's even likable once you get past his rather forceful way of talking and his unfortunate lack of listening skills! Unfortunately, despite the fact that he's pleasant and social, he's largely self-centered in the way that he rarely expresses interest in the lives of others unless they seem strange or relevant to him. He's often more concerned with his projects, and doesn't have the attention to devote to learning about someone else's problems. He doesn't make a lot of deep connections, even if he has a lot of friends, The only real time he turns negative is when something doesn't go right, or he doesn't agree with you and you're being difficult (at least in his mind). On that note, Hal can be very stubborn. If he doesn't agree with you and things get heated, his voice gets louder and louder as he tries to explain why you're wrong. This can make it difficult to convince him that he's wrong, as well. This also translates to his work. If something doesn't go right, he doesn't consider it a setback, merely something that needs to be corrected. He will try it again and again until he gets it right, or until he's distracted by something else. In regards to his duties for the Fellowship, if he's given an assignment that he doesn't want to do or doesn't agree with, he'll do it, but he'll be awfully cranky while he does. He may have a hard time devoting himself to the task, but it'll get done one way or another. You'll also know that he's unhappy about something or someone. Halwyn is prone to venting and grumbling about whoever is making him do something he doesn't want to do, if only because he could be using that time to do something more important to him. He won't seek out someone to vent to, but if someone even remotely asks how things are going, they can expect to get an earful about this idiot who's making him drop his work and do what they want. But Halwyn doesn't hold grudges; as soon as that person is no longer hindering him, he's fine with them.

Because of his family's heritage and the way he was raised, Halwyn is very traditional in his views of the world and of magic. He is already a Mage in the Fellowship by birthright, and even though his grandmother is still alive, his father is in charge of the land and the family business, but Jadis still has considerable influence. As a result of this, Halwyn is next in line to inherit the family's land and business, and his grandmother believes that he should be growing up and getting serious, not "fooling around" and doing whatever he wants. Jadis also disapproves of Halwyn's extreme dedication to his work and relative lack of attention to the grove; he's not as involved in its care as the rest of the family. He respects it as a sacred place and central to the family's beliefs and business, but doesn't feel an extreme connection to it.

Once Lucina becomes an excito, Halwyn will still treat her as if she were the mighty oak she came from. He will be very careful with her, and will hesitate to try to control her, believing that he almost does not have a right to. This also stems just slightly from the fact that Halwyn realizes that Lucina is, in fact, the essence of a deadly disease (although thankfully Lucina will be a Quietus and therefore not have much magical association with the plague). The plague kills people, and so do the living plagues born from it. But if something happens with her that he deems unacceptable, he'll certainly have something to say about it. Lucina, to him, will be a mighty, sacred icon that deserves respect and reverence. However, a lot of his attention will be fueled by the fact that Lucina is shiny and new and different, and he wants to know more about her, and thus more about the oak grove and its history. He will dive into the family's traditions and beliefs wholeheartedly, in an attempt to learn about Lucina in a roundabout way.

FAMILY
Grandmother: Jadis Deverill
Father: Morris Deverill
Mother: Rosemary Deverill
Sister: Daphne Deverill

HISTORY
Halwyn's father, Morris Deverill, met and married Rosemary Blackburn, a passionate and carefree young woman who was in very stark contrast with himself, a business-minded and stoic young man with a lot of drive and self-discipline. Rosemary was his complement, and Morris was hers, and they fell in a love filled with friendship and fun very quickly. Soon, Rosemary became pregnant with their first child, and Jadis, Morris' mother and the reigning Deverill matriarch, took more of a liking to Rosemary than she had initially (having previously viewed the girl as flighty and a bit of an airhead). However, even though Jadis was more forgiving toward Rosemary, she would not be kept out of raising Halwyn after he was born, and so had quite an influence on him whether it's obvious or not. Halwyn grew up working hard and helping with the family business and the land, learning to hunt, fish, and garden as well as many other things. When he was about ten years old, Rosemary became pregnant again. The woman hoped for a daughter that she could cherish and grow close to, and that Halwyn could eventually care for and protect as well. Her wish came true. Little Daphne was born, much to little Halwyn's chagrin, but the boy never treated her poorly even if he wasn't exactly warm for the first few years. They still give each other a hard time occasionally to this day, though Daphne's words are much softer and slier, much like her mother's. Halwyn, on the other hand, took after his father and his grandmother.

When Halwyn came into his mid-teens, he began to show a real interest in apothecary aside from the childhood games he would play, mixing anything he could find together and making "potions" for the shop (none of which were used, as they smelled horrible and had no significant effect outside of making the boy sick). His magic had developed by now, however, much to his grandmother's happiness, and he was also beginning to show interest in the Fellowship (which he was already a part of simply by being born into an established magical family). Jadis immediately began to heckle Halwyn into choosing a focus in terms of his apothecary dealings (and also in reference to him being the next heir to inherit the family land and business), but the young man simply refused. He was having too much fun doing what he wanted when he wanted, though he did want to better himself, and so he began to really get serious about his experiments. He would actually have goals when he worked now, instead of just trying whatever sounded interesting in the past (though he does still do that now). Previously, he'd merely been concerned with succeeding at anything, and now he wants to make certain things.

When the plagues began to show up, Halwyn was immediately intrigued. However, he was wary of the more chaotically-aligned plagues, and still is, due to their inherently "bad" vibe (after all, the word "chaos" doesn't provoke happy feelings). The quietus (at least the more lawful of them) and locos, however, appeared to be more helpful and Halwyn couldn't help but sort of want one. They were so different from humans and other creatures, and his curiosity burned brightly at the thought of being able to learn more about them, specifically in regards to their magical abilities. His grandmother, however, could not have reacted more differently. Jadis immediately rejected the plagues on principle, deeming them "dirty, disgusting little things" and wanting nothing to do with them. Embracing the embodiment of death, in her opinion, mean imminent danger. Morris and Rosemary, seemingly predictably, fell somewhere in the middle. They still do not fully trust the plagues, but they do see how they can be helpful. Daphne, being sixteen and relatively aware of the rumors surrounding plagues, is slightly wary of the anhelos (if only because she does not have much experience with them). Sir Sloane of the Fellowship, in particular, is a bit worrisome in her mind, but she is still intrigued by him. Daphne's favorites appear to be the various stunteds that are attracted to the Deverill household, as well as the excitos that she sees around town. After all, they are small and adorable and deserve to be spoiled.

In August of 1410, news of a locos being ritualistically killed in Shyregoad reached the Deverill family, and received mixed reactions. Halwyn and Daphne, of course, were shocked. Plagues have been known to kill humans, yes, but a ritualistic killing seemed very tragic and strange. The fact that plagues are still largely misunderstood and they do not know whether to deem them "people" or not sort of softened the blow, but Daphne still had a few bad dreams about it. Halwyn reacted similarly, and began to harbor a distrust of the House of Obscuvos simply because of this acting troupe's affiliation with them. Morris and Rosemary were shocked and saddened, but were not nearly as upset as their children; after all, they're still not sure what to make of the plagues. Jadis, on the other hand, couldn't have been happier. She was glad to see a "dirty" plague gone, even if it looked much like a human girl. Halwyn found himself shocked but not surprised at his grandmother's reaction, and became irritated that she was so gleeful about the death of a plague. It certainly fueled a sense of awkwardness between them for some time.

Then, in March of the following year, Grand Magus Benedikta Waldgrave died. Having been in power over the Fellowship for 117 years, she was greatly loved by the Deverill family, or at least by the older generations. Halwyn specifically felt slightly relieved, having heard rumors of the late Lady's descent into madness. Jadis was distraught to say the least, going into a bit of an angry depression for a few months. She had admired the other woman greatly, and to lose her was a serious blow to her faith in the Fellowship. Her replacement was not received well, either. Lady Sage Estratus, the new Grand Magus, is viewed as inexperienced and naive by the old woman, even if she knows that she had been at Waldgrave's side for a very long time. Halwyn appreciates the young woman and respects her, following her just as dearly and he had Waldgrave when she was still sane. Daphne was overjoyed at Sage's promotion, having idolized the woman for quite some time. She longs to meet her someday, and wants to be as powerful and influential as she is.

Halwyn wants to someday be a great apothecary and establish himself in the Fellowship, essentially make a name for himself and prove his worth. But in order to do that, he needs to focus and choose his niche first. He's slowly being thrust more fully into his family's traditions and learning the importance of the oak grove, but it's taking some time. After all, it's not directly related to his work. Jadis has been bothering him for some time about his lack of interest in the grove, frustrated with her grandson's apparent disregard for family tradition and generations of care. Halwyn is finally beginning to listen to her, but only because of his new plague's connection to the grove and his need to understand her. After all, he wants to be able to fully utilize her abilities when they manifest.

BASICS
Full Name: Lucina Deverill.
Nicknames: Lucy, according to Daphne.
Age: Approximately two months.
Birthday: July 15th, 1413.
Sex: Female.
Nationality: Mishkanite, Panymese.
Alliance: The Fellowship of Mages.
Rank: None.
Occupation: None.

APPEARANCE
Height & Weight: Roughly six and a half inches at the top of her head and about four at her back, Lucina is a decently sized Excito. She is made of wood and therefore slightly lighter than others, weighing around half a pound or slightly more.
General: Lucina is quite literally sculpted out of wood, in the form of a cervitaur, though her skin appears to move just like a human's (smoothly and forming wrinkles). Engravings give definition to her hooves and various swirl-like markings across her back and on her cheeks and hind legs. Various gems of sap-amber are embedded in her skin, and she is dressed in clothes made of oak leaves and adorned with acorns. However, while the hooded shawl and the crown she wears are removeable, the leaves on her legs and tail (and two larger leaves on her head that serve as "ears")are actually attached and will cause pain if pulled out. Her movements are often slow and staggered due to her wooden body, and she is rather stiff and not at all soft. nsfw(?) body reference

PERSONALITY
Lucina, at first glance, is a spiritual being due to her connection with the revered oak grove, specifically the oldest and largest member. Her words are few and far between at first, and she carries herself as elegantly as she can, because she believes that she's simply supposed to act that way. Halwyn has, since day one, been treating her like the supreme oak tree and even Lucina has begun to believe that she should be behave in such a way. This can lead to her being a bit off-putting and seeming slightly withdrawn; she will eventually notice this and begin to come to terms with the fact that she is not a sacred icon anymore, and should behave like herself, not like a spiritual being.

But don't mistake Lucina for someone who can be walked all over and ignored. She's very headstrong, voices her opinions, and says what's on her mind. She doesn't mean to be rude or hurtful, but internally justifies this manner as being due to a tree's common associations with strength, resilience, and power. She should stand her own and be assertive, and so she is. However, this is not simply something she believes she should be; she truly is assertive and strong-willed. She believes that she leads by example; showing a firm, confidence face will inspire others to act similarly. This, combined with her physical appearance (around 6.5 to 7 inches as an excito, which is unusually large), can lead to her coming off as a bit overbearing. Not everyone wants to hear her opinion or know what she thinks, after all. Once she begins to notice that this can drive potential connects away, Lucina may go through a period of trying to soften herself and bite her tongue. She doesn't want to push people away, after all! Her most important sense of strength comes from having a support system, both resembling the roots she used to have and the other trees in the grove. If she does not have this, Lucina feels alone and isolated.

Though she does not hesitate to speak up, Lucina is always calm and rational when she's telling you you're wrong. She'll politely listen to your side of the argument or whatever you have to say, and will keep that in mind, but she will still be more than happy to prove you wrong. She rarely if ever feels the need to raise her voice or shout, and if she wasn't speaking, one might even think her to be shy at first. She's very observant and analytic, and often notices things that others wouldn't, even if she doesn't appear to be paying attention. However, this can come back to bite her; she may in fact miss crucial things and have to ask about them, simply because she was paying attention to something else at the time.

As a result of her strength and rational mind, Lucina is actually very stable in her emotions for the most part. It takes a lot to rile her up or deeply upset her, and even when upset she is usually rather calm. Being right, especially about large concepts, naturally boosts her view of herself and contributes to her confidence. However, she does make mistakes. These mistakes give her small setbacks because of how highly she views herself; sacred and wise beings are not supposed to "goof up." This security and stability has the potential to be soothing to others, and Lucina is very good at simply sitting and listening (this will only increase after she learned to control her tongue and acquires a social filter). This will allow her to create those emotional connections to others that she craves so strongly.

However, Lucina is not perfect. She is prone to her insecure moments just like anyone else, and she will experience them. Once she realizes that she is not actually the tree she came from, she will need to realize that that is not what gives her value. If she is not the sacred icon, what is she to the world? She has value of her own, from inside, but she will need to find it. Servos, at least to the Mages, are the most highly prized plague alignment, and given that she is so close to that, yet so far away, she will have to further prove herself. Her physical misgivings set her back as well: due to being so closely linked to a tree, a sturdy, nearly permanent being, Lucina's body is very stiff and she may be unable to move in ways that she wants to. After seeing so many other female plagues that are petite and fluid, so unlike herself, she will have to accept herself as normal for her. There is nothing she can do about the body she was given.

Perhaps her largest insecurity comes from the fact that she is no longer directly connected with the rest of the oak grove, her "family." She feels a strange sense of loss because of this, as if something is missing (which she will eventually realize is the lack of her grove), and longs to create new connections with many different people. She longs to have a very large web of relationships of all kinds, but will need to overcome some of her own personality issues before this can really happen. She may even be hindered by some beliefs that she's inherited from Halwyn, including that her status as the largest oak tree in the family's grove put her in a place of reverence, on a pedestal of sorts (even if she's not the bratty sort).

Speaking of Halwyn, Lucina is not entirely sure what to think of him. She recognizes that he is technically her caretaker, but she feels a sort of barrier between herself and the Deverills, having been part of the grove and not necessarily part of the "family." However, she will eventually realize that, if she does not have her grove, and if she is not part of the Deverill family, she has no one. She will then ramp up her hunt for new connections, trying to find her place in the world, and may even try to get closer to Halwyn and his family. She views herself more as his guide than his ward, and initially tries to push him toward accomplishment and movement in his faction, and also tries her hardest to simply get him to focus. After all, people got to sacred icons for guidance, so she feels that it is her duty to help him. Unfortunately, this is much easier said than done. Halwyn does what he wants, and a small excito is no match for his will. This is a source of considerable frustration for Lucina at first, but she will eventually realize that she cannot control him, similar to the way that the tree is not the governor of her life. But Halwyn is not the person to lean on if she is looking for support; he is simply too engrossed in his own things that he doesn't appear to concern himself with many of Lucina's issues. Instead, she will go to Daphne if she is feeling needy, feeling more of a connection with the young girl than with her heavily-distracted Grimm.

But Lucina's relationships with the Deverills are not all sunshine and rainbows. Halwyn and Daphne are great, sure, and Morris and Rosemary are tolerated; they're nice people. But Jadis is an entirely different story. The old woman's blatant hatred and repulsion fuels a similar sense of disdain in the young plague. Lucina will never speak out against Jadis, however. She is the matriarch of the family and deserves respect, regardless of how insufferable she is. Lucina mostly tries her best to avoid the elderly woman, simply because she does not want to deal with her. She figures avoidance is the best policy, because Jadis appears to be the biggest trigger of Lucina's largely latent rage.

ITEM HISTORY
Long ago, before the Deverill family had even thought of purchasing a plot of land, a solitary oak tree stood in the middle of a field. It had probably come from an acorn dropped by a passing bird, and had grown alone for quite some time. But after it matured, it dropped its own acorns and slowly but surely a few other oaks began to grow around it. The decent-sized grove stood for years before a small family came upon it, and decided to settle down there. After a few generations, the family was gone save for the last son. He was old by now, nearly deaf and rickety in his movements, and when a woman approached him wanting to purchase the land, he sold it to her. This woman's name was Lucina Deverill, and she had bought the land mostly for the oak grove on it, but also for the little home that sat upon it as well.

Lucina was a very traditional sort of woman, steeped in the old ways of magic, and she revered the oak grove as the spiritual link between the human world and the Aether, the source of magic for all mages. Oak trees especially have long been thought of as the "trees of life," connecting the mortal world and the spiritual ones, and providing shelter for those that cross the barrier. They have also been associated with wisdom and hidden secrets, which only fueled Lucina's reverence. She took care of the grove, groomed it and kept away those wanting to harm it with various hexes, and in return the grove gave her many components that she used for her apothecary business including leaves, bark, branches, and acorns, and even mistletoe when it grew on the trees. She treated the trees with respect, in hopes that they would protect her and guide her magic in return.

Lucina had a child of her own, Ronald, whom she taught all of her beliefs and practices with the trees, and so he too took up these habits. The groves was steadily becoming an integral part of the Deverill family, fueling both their faith in the Fellowship's traditional beliefs and their family business. Ronald soon married Jadis Barnes, a local woman who was also traditional in her beliefs and drew him in with her ability to voice her opinions despite social norms. Jadis was skeptical of the family's dependence and love of the oak grove at first, viewing them simply as trees, but soon warmed up to the idea and began to use her own magic to help the family that she had become a part of.

Through the generations, the trees were loved and continued to be treasured, regardless of each new family member's initial reluctance or obedience. The trees stood solitary and strong and continued to age and grow larger, eventually turning into a shaded temple of sorts. Halwyn and his childhood friends climbed in their branches and grew up with them, especially the largest in the center of the grove. He would hide there when fighting with his family, seek them out in times of hardship, and even "mediate" in the grove when having troubles with his magic.

But even the mightiest oak tree is not resilient to every threat. After the emergence of the Black Death, a subtle yet repulsive odor settled over the grove. With a bit of investigation, it was linked to the largest and oldest tree in the group, the mother of the grove. Its bark had turned black with pestilence and its leaves had shriveled, and it seemed to seethe with death. Unknown to the Deverill family, a rabbit infested with plague-ridden fleas had burrowed beneath the tree and died, and its disease had seeped into the mighty tree through its roots, turning its support system against it.

Lucina was long gone by now, and Ronald as well. Jadis was the reigning matriarch of the family, but the deed to the land had been passed to Morris after Ronald's passing. In his will were direct orders to never harm the grove and Morris was determined to honor his father's wishes, despite his mother's insistence to "cut the disgusting thing down." Even Jadis was hesitant to cut the oak down. So, the mother tree was roped off and never touched, left to rot in its pestilence that somehow did not spread to the other trees. Jadis did try for a while to "fix" it, but nothing seemed to help and Jadis grew frustrated, eventually giving up. Instead, the tree remained, slowly turning darker and more sinister as the plague worked itself deeper into its flesh.

The Deverill family has a set of beliefs and traditions regarding the oak grove that are passed down through generations and upheld to the best of their abilities. The first and foremost is that the grove itself acts as a temple of sort for their magic. It is a doorway to the Aether and provides the family with protection and power, and whenever they are feeling weak or lost, they spend time in the grove and ask it for help. As a result of this connection to the Aether, the grove is also associated with wisdom, knowledge, and hidden secrets that may never be understood by humans.

The Deverills also adopt some of the more traditional beliefs surrounding oak trees in general. Deciduous trees are associated with renewal, rebirth, and immortality, and trees are also symbols of comfort, life, and fertility (due to the shade and fruit they provide). Oak trees are notorious for attracting lightning, and are thus deemed as especially resilient, and are symbols of strength because of their size and longevity.

As for how the grove is treated, the Deverills treat anything that grows on or near the trees as sacred and prized rarities. They do often use pieces of these things in their products, such as the bark or leaves or even the acorns. The grove is never actively pruned or trimmed; they simply let it grow as it pleases and only intervene when one tree threatens another with tangled roots or branches. They do, however, clean up the ground around the trees as a way to pay their respects. However, in order to prevent outsiders from harming or taking things from the trees, the Deverills do cast minor jinxes. These spells do not harm the animals that frequent the grove, only the humans with negative intentions. The effects of these jinxes range from minor headaches to bouts of nausea; nothing severe, but enough to get someone to be a nuisance or get them to leave.

The Deverill household is a simple but fairly large barn-style building divided into two main parts: an apothecary shop and the family's private home.

The shop takes up around a third of the building's square feet and is divided into two rooms, with the work space in the back. This is where the family members prepare the various products they sell, and it is also used as a personal laboratory of sorts by Halwyn. The shop's main room itself is simple: lined with shelves stocked with products of all kinds, with a small counter for purchases and a few barrels full of raw ingredients for various spell and recipes. Occasionally, Rosemary will make extra food and sell it here as well.

The family's private home consists of a large main room that functions as kitchen, den, and dining room all in one, and also three private rooms (one for Jadis, one for Morris and Rosemary, and one for Halwyn and Daphne. The home is not fantastic but it gets the job done, and is reasonably comfortable. They have a few pieces of nice wooden furniture from relatives, but the majority of their furniture is slightly worn and old. Rosemary makes sure to keep various plants around to brighten the place, and Jadis may burn incense from time to time.

PLOT IDEAS
Halwyn
After discovering that he is never going to be good at apothecary, Halwyn will journey to Anica to seek guidance and find his niche.
Ambitious as ever, he hones in on the healing arts, but also feels a draw to alchemy.
He will need to study at Trisica regardless of his choice.
Lucina
Lucina, upon realizing that plagues can be contributing members of society,
will develop a desire to do something, anything.
She will find a strange draw to the healing arts and studying humans in general,
much like humans are drawn to studying plagues.
She wants to become useful, to have a purpose, and will eventually gravitate toward becoming a skilled healer.
In order to hone her craft, she will need to study at Trisica.
