Christophe was up to his usual tricks, and this year he thought it would be kind of funny to mess with the rest of the school. It had taken him a few months and failed trials, but he finally had succeeded in creating a love potion. The results varied depending on who was taking it, some times it lasted longer then others as well as being weak sometimes and strong others. However it worked, whoever took the potion would "fall in love" with the next person they saw. It was just wonderful.
Freckles made anyone look pretty innocent, but they covered the first year Slytherin and made her appear too young and innocent to even come to Hogwarts. "Hello you there. Yes you with the freckles." Christophe called beckoning the first year over. "You look like you could use some sweets. Here, I have plenty, plus I don't mind sharing with such a cutie." he said with a wink. He handed her a bag and considered staying around to see if she would eat them, but he had more things to do. "Well, enjoy." he said before rushing off.

 The whole time the seventh year spoke to her Eva was just staring at him. She had never met the boy in her life and she was rather surprised that he was calling her cute and giving her candy. He was a seventh year and much older then her. Was that even okay, for him to call her cute? She raised an eyebrow as he spoke, this was a new experience for her. She barely had time to thank him for the candy, she loved candy, before he ran away. It was so very odd, she couldn't wait to tell Maer later on. Maybe she knew the older boy, or maybe she would tell Eva if this was normal here at Hogwarts.
Holding the bag in her hand she figured it had to be safe, after all this was Hogwarts, what was the worst that could happen? She grabbed a few of the candies and started to eat them. They were better then she expected! She continued to eat them until there were no more left in the bag. She frowned. He hadn't given her nearly enough. Looking around she wondered if she could find him and ask him to get her more.

Jai had been wandering around desolately through Hogwarts a little saddened by the fact that so many of his friends were spending time with girls. Why was it he was the odd one out? Oh right, because most of the girls were grossed by the fact that he liked to collect bugs. That whole incident with his tarantula in the Great Hall hadn't helped his popularity either. Not that he had much popularity before then.
He had noticed that several kids were walking around with bags of candy and valentines and chided himself for not getting in on the gifting. Perhaps that would have helped him find more friends. He noticed one girl looking around as though she were trying to find someone. Here was an opportunity he had been looking for! He approached the girl tapped her on the shoulder.
"Need help finding something?" He asked with a small smile.

She was rather startled when she felt a tap on her shoulder and although she was a little hopeful that it was the older boy back with her candy she turned to see that it wasn't him. However what she saw was even better! Who needed the older 7th year boy when she had such a handsome boy her age right there in front of her?!
"Nope, I think I just found what I'm looking for." she said with a flirtatious smile as she looked Jai up and down. Why hadn't she ever noticed him before this? He was so handsome, there was no way that she would have missed him. Maybe he was a transfer. "My name is Evangeline. But you can just call me Angel." she said. So she sucked at flirting, big deal, hopefully he would still get the full effect. Yet something else she had to ask Maer about, how to flirt. "And what do I have the pleasure of calling you?" she said batting her eyelashes.

Jai was rather taken aback by the strange look in the girl's eyes. It reminded him of how he must look when he found a bug he had been searching for a very long time. "Oh, what were you looking for?" Jai asked looking around curiously. Surely she wasn't talking about him. No girls had ever looked at him in that manner.
"That's a pretty name," Jai said shyly, swaying his arms around uncomfortably. Why was it that girls always made him feel this way. "I'm Jai." He replied wondering if something had gotten in her eyes. She seemed to be fluttering her eyelashes a lot.
"Is there something in your eyes?" He asked inching a little closer to get a better look in them.
