Rules for becoming a God/Goddess
- You must complete and submit the God/Goddess application.
You must be an active member of the Academy. This includes coming on about every day and participating with events and other people.
You must have at least been in the Academy for two months before participating in the selection process. A current God/Goddess of one element cannot apply for a God/Goddess position of another.
You need to have applicable knowledge of your element. There will be a test that is given to test this knowledge on this level.
Must have a relatively clean record within the Academy. Must have no major offenses on record.
Must pass the God/Goddess review board.
There shall be only 1 God/Goddess for each element. God/Goddess positions will be posted as needed in the proper place within the tread. Be sure to keep checking for any postings of any new God/Goddess positions that become available.
Rules for the Gods/Goddesses
- A God/Goddess is the selected head of their school being responsible for the school itself as well as all of the students within it. This includes but is not limited to: safety, care, instruction, housing, etc.
A God/Goddess is responsible for assigning Instructors, Lead Instructors, Masters, and Head Masters for their element following the guidelines for each.
A God/Goddess shall uphold and enforce the rules of the Academy.
A God/Goddess shall act as a member on a tribunal case if called upon for major offenses within the Academy. For tribunals of non-major offenses the Gods/Goddesses will preside over them.
A God/Goddess can make rule suggestions but cannot create rules. If a God/Goddess is needed for polling purposes then they shall be notified.
A God/Goddess is responsible for accepting and approving/denying all elemental transfers from a person within their respective element. If there is no acting God/Goddess from the element that a person wishes to transfer from, then the acting God/Goddess of that element that a person wishes to transfer to shall make the approval or denial of that transfer. A God/Goddess cannot switch out a person’s elemental status.
A God/Goddess shall not edit and/or delete any post made by a Moderator nor shall a God/Goddess edit and/or delete a post that is under review or investigation.
A God/Goddess is responsible for collecting and maintaining monthly Instructor/Lead Instructor evaluation reports from the Head Master of that element. These reports shall be maintained with easy access for a Moderator.
A God/Goddess is responsible for monthly Master/Head Master evaluation reports and must submit those reports in the proper place for review by the Moderators.
A God/Goddess is NOT a Moderator of the Academy and will in no way act as such. A God/Goddess is only an enforcer of rules. A God/Goddess may take the necessary steps to enforce the rules, but cannot ban a person from the Academy. Only a Moderator can ban a person from the Academy.
A God/Goddess will have power to decide the punishment of Moderators caught in violation of the rules. A special tribunal held by the Gods/Goddesses in witness of the other Moderators will take place.
A God/Goddess will be active within the Academy. If there are any periods of long inactivity, please notify a Moderator via PM. If long periods of inactivity are not notified to a Moderator, then the acting God/Goddess shall/can be replaced in office by another.
- If the length of unreported absence is justifiable, then upon return of the God/Goddess, if the position has already been filled, the former God/Goddess can request either a vote from the school populous including the Gods/Goddesses and Moderators which shall include a series of 3 debates for the students to hear or hold a bout to decide who will keep the position.
If the vote results in a tie, then a special tiebreaker bout will be held and shall be officiated by the Moderators of the Academy.
