The 'booth' is more like a haphazard collection of tables that were clearly pilfered from various places around Amityville, all three of varying shapes, heights, and sizes. Despite their rickety appearance, they are sturdy enough, but probably wouldn't support your weight if you thought the Arts and Crafts professor's booth was the best place to tabledance.
That, and they're covered in basic art supplies, strewn all over the place.
The thick colored paper, pens and paint, and small artsy accessories look like they might have been organized at one point, but it's more a beautiful pile of chaos now.
Zixil beckons you over if you stare long enough that you appear to be a viable investment.

Smash It Together Into Something Spooky And Nice
As you approach the 'booth' area, the goblin professor standing behind the tables doesn't give you time to greet him or inquire about anything you see. He feigns a look of shock, and begins a spiel that sounds obviously rehearsed.
"Don't have a card for your Scarentine yet? Wow, cuttin' it a little close, aren't you?"
Zixil gives you a look. He's judging you so hard.
"Right, just so y'know: increased demand caused by a decreased purchase timeframe is directly relative to the cost of materi...ah, whatever, go ahead and make one for free."
Not a good business practice, but the holiday is about giving, right? He does seem to be eyeing some of the Scarentines that others at the booth are making with a greedy glint in his eye. It's likely in your best interest to be sure that you don't leave your completed card unattended.
Making a Scarentines Card
It's as easy as grabbing some supplies and smashing them all together! Some finesse and care doesn't hurt, though.
1. plastic gems of all colors 2. glowing glue* 3. tiny heart stickers 4. the most sinister of all...glitter*
You may roll all of your dice in the same post, or split it up if you'd prefer! Combine the materials as you see fit. You can just roleplay this out, or put them together in an editing program, or draw the card yourself. You don't have to use the linked images if you don't want to. Don't forget to sign it, so your Scarentine knows who it's from (even if it's just 'An Admirer')!
*since these are accents, there's no template - scribble them on however you'd like!
When You've Finished Your Card
Show off the goods! You can keep it a secret, but you wouldn't get a sweet little treat to go along with it...which would be a bit of a pity.

Delicious Additions To Your Colorful Card
Just when you think you're done here, the professor stops you, appalled.
"You can't just show up with a card, kid! Don't you know anything?!" he gasps, smacking his palm against his forehead. He looks like he's more ashamed of you than you are.
You will need to post this form to claim a minipet!

To DETH Goes My Heart...
Oh Jack, some poor sucker got glow glue and glitter dumped all ov--
Aw, no, just Argyle. He always looks like that.
You actually want to talk to him for some reason:
why.
'No, I really wanna talk to him!'
He straightens up from his sulky slump when he realizes someone else might be interested in this cause, and shoves a handful of colorful pamphlets and flyers your way. They're all sensationalized nonsense about humans, with titles such as 'STEALING HUMAN CULTURE' and 'HUMANS HAVE THE RIGHT TO LOVE'.
"Can you believe this?" he gestures wildly to all of the Scarentines supplies on the tables surrounding him. "I've never seen objectification this bad! Marginalization of human culture gets worse every year, and if we don't stop it now..." His eyes widen and he leans forward. "There might be no human culture left. We would have taken it all. Not even fair trade culture importation. This is cultural appropriation if I've ever seen it. How would you feel if humans tried to copy your culture and failed this miserably? They don't even make their own cards! They buy them! Buying things on holidays is the most crucial part."
He folds his arms, looking very smug about his human knowledge.
You try to escape before he sees you:
He's a vampire with glasses, his skill in 'seeing' is probably higher than a Homunculus Foxfire on a clear October morning. He looks pretty mad that you tried to run away without acknowledging him and DETH's noble Scarentines cause.
"Enabler! Filthy enabler! You're the reason humans are objectified and systematically deconstructed into a slaughtered version of their culture! Disgusting! Ignorance is no exuse, educaaate youuurselffff!"
He's so into this rant that he probably won't notice if you want to slip away...
Why are these little guys hanging around?

Scarentines, Scarentines! A day for love, a day for joy! A day for.. hiding from scary people!
Selene was driven to the booth out of sheer need, but she remained out of interest. She had no one to send an actual Scarentine to, but that didn't stop her from picking up one of the cute little cards and toying with it fondly. "They're so precious." She coo'd, though no one was yet around to hear her - not that she'd said it louder than a whisper, anyway. She fussed with the lace dollies, and held it up to the light to see if it looked any good.
Perhaps she would just give this one to the booth owner. Zixil, wasn't it? She smiled shyly at the thought and continued fussing with her messy little complicated creation.
Ragnorak looked at the table and all the items on it. She wasn't very good at...touchy-feely lovey dovey showy emotional things. But hey, when you haven't seen your sister in forever it can't hurt to try can it?
Rifling through the products on the table, she tried to glance around and see what other people were making. Little love notes, friend notes...Well what should her note say? I forgive you for injuring me. It was not big deal, honest.
Sig would never believe those even though it was the truth.
Well, might as well try to put together this foolish card anyways. It's the thought that counts right?
Ragnorak kneeled at the table so that she could reach the materials better. Picking up some black thick paper, she folded it neatly into an envelope. Each crease folded and refolded to lay down perfectly. The corners tucked in neatly to keep the card in there.
Sifting through the rest of the table, she saw the lace--too frilly and light. Too bright and gaudy for their tastes. Her hand lingered for a moment on the red holo heart, but then she passed it on. Red would only remind Sig of blood...she didn't want Sig to think of anything like that.
Carefully she picked up some gems in silver to decorate the card with. A simple word. What could she say?
Sig would want to leave here now that she'd come, afraid that she'd hurt her again. But the hell if Rag was going to let that happen. She had come here for Sig and she would stay with her, she would show her that it didn't matter. They were still sisters, no matter what.
And maybe it was just that simple.
Arranging, the tiny little stones, she wrote out: "No matter what, I'll be there."
She'd followed her this far hadn't she? She'd go to the ends of the earth to help Sig save herself.
In a last act of noncormity (because let's face it, Ragnorak has to raise a little hell) she grabs up a large bottle of glitter and pries open the can. "You're names Argyle right?" Gently she poured some glitter into her hand, and blew it in his direction.
"There much better," she tossed back her hair and gave a conniving little laugh.
This booth seemed promising.... making a card might be fun.
Looking over the materials, Millie decided a black card would be best. The pink ones were just a little... unsettling. Picking out a red holo heart, Millie glued it to the back of the paper. Taking her materials to a quiet corner, Millie scrawled an "I admire you" message with a red pen, Millie looked at her card. Should she sign it?
After a few moments of debating whether her message could be taken the wrong way or not, she felt it would be okay to sign her name.
It needed something more... Going back to the material table, Millie immediately ruled out the messy glue and glitter. The plastic gems looked nice, but that meant more glue and Millie had already managed to glue two of her fingers together.
Spying a small sheet of stickers, Millie grabbed them before anyone else could grab the sheet she wanted. "No more glue." she said quite triumphantly and set off to stick the entire sheet all over her card. So long as it didn't cover the message, more was better, right?
Walking out the door with her finished card in her hands, Millie looked at it with affection. The professor's voice startled her and made her feel a bit self-conscious. Before she could stutter out a, "It won't be that kind of card.." the professor had already pulled her back to pick out a sweet to attach to the card.

While Moriko had never been particularly crafsty, she did enjoy knitting and being creative from time to time. Intrigued, the Kitsune decided to make a card, although she wasn't exactly sure who she would be giving it to just yet. Perhaps Sophie? She might enjoy a card. Or perhaps Fi?
Without too much thought, Moriko picked up a red sheet of paper and a white doily. She then added a few heart stickers to the card and figured it looked 'cutesy' enough. Still not sure of who she was giving it to just yet, she merely signed her name on the inside and left the rest blank.

Running in and nearly knocking over a table, Millie grabbed a few random thing in a hurry and went back to the corner she was in yesterday. If she made a good enough card, maybe Cricket would accept it in exchange for some of her pretty flowers that Millie wanted oh so much.
Putting the supplies out in front of her, Millie somewhat regretted her choice to rush things as she had picked up things she would have never thought to use.
The gold foil heart paper was pretty, but it clashed with the pink paper... Hopefully it was "in the spirit of the event" enough as Millie glued the foil to the back of the paper. Scrawling out an "I admire you, Professor Cricket" in her best handwriting with the red pen she used earlier and signing it at the bottom, Millie dusted the whole thing with glitter.
It certainly looked impressive. Grabbing a piece of candy to go with her card, she snuck out before Zixil could bother her or critque her card like he did yesterday. It was absolutely perfect this time, for sure.

Approaching the card booth Zel was suddenly filled with - not fear - but trepidation. He could see the great evil sitting there on the supply table. Glitter... He'd heard of the stuff - heard how it got into everything and never went away. He made a mental note to try and avoid it as much as he could - but given Amarus' mental state.
Well he'd do whatever made her happy.
Placing her down in front of the table with supplies, he started to grab his own so he could make a card for her. After all - this was more fun than buying one - and really, this gave him a chance to express his feelings for her in a much more... fun fashion.
Plus it was something she could keep and remember for always - so that was a plus.
Once he got his supplies, he motioned for Amarus to follow him to a spot at the table that they could both work side-by-side.
He'd work one handed if he could, he didn't like not being in contact with her, he'd come to discover. "Once we finish these we can figure out where to go next," He chuckled softly, kissing her once more before scooting along the table with his supplies to start crafting a card.

Amarus was so perpetually high on sugar that she didn't even care she was being carried around like a parcel or an unruly animal: she did, in fact, love stroking the pink buttwings Zel had developed. She just loved birds. Occasionally, she could be heard cooing softly to the wings, and then giggling.
Until they reached the card booth, and she noticed the glitter. Except since her eyesight was still kind of... weird, everything was so beautiful. The way the lights hit the glitter, refracted luminescence all across the table and across her date as he picked up some glitter. It was at that moment, as Amarus paused to gleefully select her supplies, when a Tylwyth Teg with white, soft hair booked it to the booth, and yelled: "Faerie HER--! oomf--" interrupted by a sound of mild pain as he ran into someone in the middle of tossing a handful of glitter at someone he supposedly knew. Actually, it was Valiant, and he had been saving it because he was going to go throw it at Rosy and Siku given Rosy had not offered him anything of any worth to keep her secret, and Lian was petty sometimes.
Instead, the fistful of glitter ended up all over Zel. "Sorry...! Sorry about your date! Woops!" Valiant apologized, backing away, smiling in embarassment. Yeah, he didn't wanna pick a fight with that demon! So he kinda booked it right back out as quickly as he'd come in, with Amarus applauding and giggling as if that show had been entirely for her.
She leaned over and kissed Zel, "You are the most beautiful of the glowing creatures I have ever seen." She was, apparently, trying to reassure him in the only sugar-high way she could. "And I am going to miss these pretty lights!" she lamented, before picking up things haphazardly to make a card for Zel. A sugar-high card.
It started simply enough: black paper, which she really liked the look of, and she adored the texture. She rubbed the sheet against her cheek, and looked almost as though she would normally be purring. Following that, she affixed some very pretty gold doily foil thing to the card and then eyed the decorations.
It was happening. She was doing it. Glitter. She loved the glitter so much that it made its way onto her card, as well. Lots of very, very pink glitter. In fact, she used some glue and spelled out ZEL! and then drenched that in glitter, blowing off the extra so that it clearly spelled his name.
As an afterthought, she used some kind of white gel pen to scrawl her name into the bottom, having run out of room with glitter and doily affixed in place.
"DONE," she announced, smacking the card onto the table. Her hands were webbed with glitter, and it was all over her face and in her hair. It blended in with her aura, actually, the pink-purple flames that flickered low to her skin.

Zel was about ready to spin around and chase after the other Tylwyth Teg when he covered him in glitter. Glitter being the one thing he desperately wished he could wash off. The only thing that stopped him from probably ruining the date with Amarus, as her applause and sudden kiss.
He stopped cold and leaned into the kiss as she pressed her lips to his, and when she spoke, he chuckled softly and coughed into his now sparkly hand. "Thank you," he said softly. "You're quite beautiful yourself, glitter or no." He brushed a little bit of the glitter onto her cheek with his finger - realizing it was going to just get everywhere anyway.
Turning back, he crafted her a card - he was trying to be cute - but he had the craft skills of a two year old. Granted, looking over at hers when she said done, he realized he was in good company. Still, he felt a swelling in his heart at the card. He liked it a lot to be honest, so when he was finished, he presented the card to Amarus by taking a knee.
"For you," he said, holding it out to her with two hands. "I hope you like it."
