Welcome to Lumina Academy !

You wake up in your room/cave/coffin/wherever you sleep as usual and you notice something odd next you; a black rose and a letter addressed to you. You don't remember expecting mail, and you definitely don't remember receiving the mysterious black flower, and yet, you decide to put away the rose and open the letter. It reads:

"Greetings [your name here],

You have been cordially invited to attend Lumina academy. We have received word of your special abilities and wish to help you learn how to use them to thier fullest. Your guardian(s) has already been informed of this invitation and has approved your transfer should you make the choice to attend. Tuition, meals, and room and board have all been paid for, and accommodations have been made to suit your specific species. Enclosed is a card that will serve as your room key, identification, and meal card. It also contains a password to your page on our website.
We hope this is not too sudden as we sincerely hope you will attend our school.

The signature isn't written in ink, but in an eerie black glowing substance. It seems to be more similar to blood than ink. You pull out the card and inspect it and consider for a moment whether you should respond to this invitation. For one reason or another you pack your bags and board a train to the school in question, Lumina Academy.

Plot

This RP is the story of the teachers and students at a strange school out in the mountains.All of the teachers and students have some kind of ability or magic that they wish to learn to control or master. Discounting the fact of superpowered teens running about, things seem pretty simple. However things are not that simple. Each of the teachers and Headmistress herself has a secret all thier own. While some of the secrets are just stunning revelations, others could be quite disastrous if news of them was to get out. SO what will happen? If and when the teachers are revealed, what can the students do about it. Perhaps a better question would be: Can they do anything about it?

Rules
1. Follow the Guild rules and ToS- I'd rather not get this guild, or myself banned.
2. No godmodding- Everyone has powers, but don't go overboard. No autohits/autododges.
Remember: Unless they have no viable way to dodge, your attack hasn't hit yet. And just because you have a viable dodge doesn't mean your character will always think of it.
3. No killing characters!- This is one of the guild rules but I'll reiterate. No killing! And keep the blood to a manageable level please...
4.Be literate!- I find it juvenile to base literacy off of post length. However, this does not mean you can fly with 2 sentences, nor does it mean I'm willing to read a text wall. Be sensible with your post lengths. Also no txt tlk, 133t sp33k, or smileys ( 3nodding ). Bad spelling and grammar are only allowed in dialogue. Outside that, try your best to write your best.
5.Be sensible with language! - Another guild rule. F bombs are fine, but I don't need to see "********" used 52 times in one post.
6.Pretty posts please! ^^- All I mean by this is, add a picture and some color to your posts. You have the freedom to be as fancy as you like, just don't go overboard, stretch the page, or use neon colors.
7.Be active... I understand we all have lives and different time zones but try to post at least once a week...If you're gone for more than a week without notice youre character will be removed
8.PG 13 No cybering. Just no. Romance is fine and even encouraged, but keep it clean or take it somewhere else.
9 PM all profiles to me, or someone on the whitelist before RPing!- and put a ninja in your PM so we know you read the rules.
