This is a log of the AIM roleplay done between Alexion "Lexi" Lucara and her soul mate Liliti. We are using this in order to have a chance at more bowls when they finally breed, as Liliti has to carry on a dying family line.... Enjoy the adorably mushy romance of two lesbians.

Liliti: . n. -tumbles out with her map, scribbling on it for a moment before eying the other girl and nodding in acknowledgement-
Lexi: -Blinks and blushes- H-hello again.
Liliti: -watches the flush with curiosity before flashing a charming smile- I'm sorry, but did I ever happen to get your name?
Lexi: Oh! Uhmm, Alexion Lucara...but my brother calls me Lexi. -Smiles shyly- What's yours?
Liliti: -widens her eyes a bit- What a fantastic name.... My grandmother would absolutely adore it. Very unique.... -clears her throat, smiling again as she lowers her head in a bow, holding tight to her crown so it doesn’t fall off- My name is Liliti. I would say Liliti of the Cosmos, but I do not think I am close enough to my grandmother to rightly use it.
Lexi: Liliti, that's a pretty name. -Blushes again at the mention of her name being unique- Of the Cosmos..? That sounds like an important title.
Liliti: Why thank you, my mother gave it to me as tribute to my grandmother. Her name is Massa, and she was born in a place where it was common to be named with only three main letters used throughout. She is princess of the cosmos, an alien, so I really wish I could carry the title. Though I must admit, I often wished to carry the title of my grandfather, Captain Ra.... Being a pirate, commanding a crew, is something I desperately desired.... The seas called to me. Still do. But I gave it up. For my family. And Ra still makes fun of me for it, for I chose the sea instead of the skies, which was her domain. -flushes herself- Oh, sorry, sometimes I tend to go on....
Lexi: It's alright. I like hearing about other people’s lives...a lot more interesting than mine. -Smiles softly-

Liliti: -laughs lightly, shaking her head, shifting so that the sword on her hip clinks with the movement- Trust me, since my mother convinced me to settle down and stay away from the sea, my life has been pretty uninteresting. I had my interesting as a child, I'm done for now unless some urgent matter comes up, or I find someone else who drags me along on adventures. -eyes gleam a little-
Lexi: My brother likes me to stay close so he doesn't really like me going out on my own. He says I can't take care of myself if I was away from him. -Sighs- Adventures sound like loads of fun.
Liliti: -raises an eyebrow- No offense to your brother, but I am sure you can take care of yourself. Just because you're a young lady doesn't mean you can't be rough and tough and protect yourself when need be. You just need a few pointers, and the gall to do what needs to be done. I've learned to protect myself on a dock with hundreds of dirty, smelly, violent men; the worst kind of pirates. I could teach you a few things, and you could show that brother of yours what a girl can really do! -grins-
Lexi: -Looks unsure- That sounds good...but my brother is all I have, I don't want to hurt him.
Liliti: Aw lass, I'm sure your brother just wants what's best for you, and you just have to show him that what's best for you is to be free. It's not like you plan to leave him! You just want to do things on your own, don't you? -tilts her head- I mean, if you feel otherwise, just put me in my place.
Lexi: Uhmm well...I do love him but you are right I do what to go out on my own and do things. I'm not a child any more...I can handle it.
Liliti: Well then you have to tell him that! If you just obey him and stay by his side at all times, you will go stir crazy, and eventually it may put a strain on your relationship. You have to learn how to protect yourself, how to stand up for yourself, and then you have to tell him. Tell him exactly how you feel and promise to come back to see him whenever you can. Don't take no for an answer! You have to be strong. Sometimes in life, you just have to do things for the good of yourself and others. Sometimes you have to break free, even if it doesn't sit right with your loved ones. -nods her head firmly-

Lexi: -Thinks for a moment- Will you teach me how to fend for myself? Allen never talks about it with me and tells me girls should be protected not be the ones protecting
Liliti: Of course I will, Miss Lexi. My skills as a pirate need to be put to use somehow. -growls a little, huffing and attempting to straighten her jacket to distract herself- Girls aren't defenseless. All they need is to be taught. And if he isn't willing to teach, then I'd be happy to do it for him. You seem like you deserve to do what you please. -inclines her head a little with a smile, eyes sparkling slightly-
Lexi: I've only read about pirates in the books I found when Allen was away one time. Are there lots of pirates? -She cocked her head to the side before smiling.- I think I would like to learn from a pirate.
Liliti: -puffs out her chest- A lot more than you'd think, lass. There's even two different kinds of pirates: air pirates and, the more common, sea pirates. Sometimes the air pirates can even be known as space pirates! The only problem with pirates is, you must be able to tell the difference between the good and the bad pirates. Sometimes there are pirates who can make you think they're on your side, then turn around and rob you blind. They're scoundrels, but it's just how they think. I'm used to all sorts of pirates, the perverts, the mischief makers, the persuaders.... There are only a few pirates you can trust, and even then you have to convince them of your comradery before they'll even think twice about stealing your most precious treasure. Since there are not a lot of women who are allowed to be pirates.... And we get abused the most on our ships.... You can almost always trust us. Though we're wary of each other as competition. -laughs and shakes her head- I really do tend to go on! My words are inexhaustible when it comes to these things. I'm glad you'll allow me to teach you.
Lexi: -Listens to her talk rather happily.- Well, you are the first person I've met who seems to think I'm capable of handling myself. That and you seem so sure and able yourself, it just seems like you are the perfect teacher...that and I like your stories...and how you talk. -Blushes a little again, tail swaying back and forth.-
Liliti: Well then they should get some sense knocked into them! Or perhaps they should just think about their own lives. I have raised myself since kithood, so I've come to believe in the idea that most noodles can handle anything if they are willing to learn. You just have to be driven, have to want it. I can see it in your eyes, this talk itself excites you, so I know you'll follow my teachings without question. Plus, there's just something about you..... -flushes lightly herself before she looks away and clears her throat, blushing more as she actually realizes this girl is complimenting her- Ahem.... Thank you. I will try my very hardest to be deserving of your compliments.

Lexi: -Laughs and nods her head.- I think you'll do just fine. I'll try my hardest to be a good student, one that you can be proud of.
Liliti: -slowly slides her gaze back over to Lexi, chuckling a little, her tiara glowing slightly though it's hard to see in the sunlight- I've never really had a student, so I'm sure I'll be proud no matter what happens. I just want to give you the chance others seem to have refused you.
Lexi: -Beams happily at the other female before suddenly frowning.- But I've still got to tell my brother. He's not going to be happy...
Liliti: -feels a sudden twang of concern at the frown, ears falling a bit before she straights herself up and takes a step towards the girl- If you need my help, need me to help keep you strong and support you when you tell him, or even after you tell him, just let me know. I am always willing to help out. I have persuaded and mediated quite a few fights in my time.
Lexi: Oh...he won't physically fight or anything...just yell and tell me I can't go out on my own or with someone I barely know. -Looks up at her- He might try and hurt you though so you'd better not come with me.
Liliti: I have dealt with verbal arguments as well.... -lays her ears back, eyes searching the young noodle's expression- If he tried to come after me, I'd worry more for his sake then mine. I'm used to brawling armed men. -sighs- Okay. If anything happens though, you can come see me. Perhaps we can figure out a different course of action or a way to persuade him once he has calmed down. -nods, sure of herself-

Lexi: -Doesn't look so sure but nods anyway.- Maybe we can make him see reason after a while.. -Twitches her ears before sighing as well- We will just have to wait and see.
Liliti: -sets her paw on Lexi's shoulder, looking into her eyes- Don't worry, lass, I'll find a way to help you. Everyone deserves to be free at least once in their life. Adventure will wait for you.
Lexi: -Smiles slightly- Thank you, Liliti. I think I should go now though, how will I be able to find you after today?
Liliti: Usually I spend my time either at the beach waiting for my father and two brothers to come out to the water, or at the docks, staring out at the boats. If you haven't seen it, I'm sure you could ask anyone where it is. It's pretty large, and well known for the idiots who scour the place looking for rum. -rolls her eyes a bit- Don't worry, I stay near the edge, so no pirates should be able to bother you before you find me.
Lexi: -Swallows, looking a bit nervous before nodding- Okay. I'll talk to Allen tonight and see about getting him to agree, if not I might have to sneak away and find you.
Liliti: -nods- If you have to, I'm sure my family wouldn't mind you staying with us for a night until things calm down. Most of them don't hang around much, and if they do, they're only there for the night, or there because they want to be in the quiet for a few hours. My family tends to always be outside. -pats her shoulder- But I'm sure it won't be that bad.
Lexi: -Smiles again- Thank you, it might just come to that. -Moves away and looks toward the trees.- I'll see you later, Liliti. Somehow.
Liliti: -frowns lightly, her tail hanging a little as she nods, ears laying back slightly- I wish you well, Lexi. Just believe in yourself and what you have to say, you'll get through it. I'm always here if you need me.

--next day-- It was early morning, the sun had barely been up for more than a few hours but already many creatures were stirring. One of them was a rat eared vixen who was making her way silently through the trees. She was headed to the beach, searching for the female she had met the day prior. Like she'd thought her brother had spat on her plan about having the pirate teach her how to defend herself, so when he had fallen asleep last night she'd slunk off and made her escape. When she finally reached the edge of the forest she stopped to rest, the lack of sleep finally getting to her. "You can do this..." She encouraged herself softly before she pressed forward, tail dragging across the earth as the grass turned to sand. Even though she wanted nothing more than to curl into a ball and sleep, she had to admit the sight of the ocean was beautiful. The waves lapped on the shore, pulling at the sand until it tumbled back into the ocean from whence it came, as it would any other day, at any other hour. Liliti had been staring at it for hours, lulled to sleep for a while, then pulled from her dreams again, her eyes searching for a figure in what little light there was to be found. She was waiting, sitting on a blanket her "mother" had left behind when he went home the night before, sensing his daughter did not want to leave even after it was too dark to surf. It was too much of a risk, she thought, to leave, just in case Lexi came looking for her, needing her gentle consolation. So here she lay, half awake, the sun warming her fur, the oncoming heat lulling her back into a sleepy state.

It didn't take Lexi long to actually find the one she was looking for once she was on the beach. After all it was mostly flat, brown sand all the way around, Liliti had been easy to spot. "Liliti!" She called as she moved closer, kicking up sand as she sped up her movements. A smile slipped over her face as her ears perked forward, she was happy that she had actually found the other female.
Eyes half closed, she stared at the sparkling water, feeling entranced by its sight, so warm, so familiar, so friendly.... She heard it calling her name, like it was happy to see her as well, for they had known each other a very long time. Suddenly, as if a bolt of electricity had run up her spine, she snapped out of her daze and looked up, spotting the flying sand and the dainty little paws which accompanied a familiar young noodle. Returning the gratified smile, she forced herself up on her tired, achy legs, cramped from laying so long in the same position. "Lexi," she spoke gently, a certain warmth in her voice, happy to see her smiling, even though a meeting so early spoke of nothing but trouble. "You made it."

She came to a stop right at the edge of the blanket still smiling. "I wasn't sure if I was going to find you, but I'm so very glad I did." She explained, looking at the blanket longingly. "I've been out all morning and most of last night." She stated softly as her ears twitched forward and backward. "You haven't been out all night as well have you?"
Liliti watched her expression carefully, the tension in her muscles becoming more apparent with a slight nervousness, wanting to make sure that the young girl was alright. Her ears drooped slightly as she spoke, legs giving way under her as she sat down with a large puff of sand, frustrated and exhausted at the thought of what had occurred. "So it went as you feared. Come, sit with me, I can't imagine you're rested very well with this weighing on your mind." She shakes her head and gave a sigh before her ears perked at the words, looking over at Lexi with a soft smile. "I've been here. Waiting. Just in case you might need me. I couldn't sleep knowing that you might be searching for me, needing me, not knowing where I am."

The curly haired female smiled softly and blushed a little at the others words. She was used to people being there for her, but with Liliti it was different. She couldn't quite put her finger on it and it kind of made her uneasy. She shoved that thought to the back of her mind and settled down on the blanket with her. "He wasn't happy with the idea....told me that it was a stupid idea and that it was cruel of you to even consider it." She explained with a soft sigh as she looked down at her hands. "Then he told me not to talk about it anymore and to go to sleep."
The young girl adjusted her coat, loosening it slightly as she exhaled a long sigh, her eyes closing for a moment before she returned them to Lexi, her gaze gentle, yet something boiling under the surface. As she continued to listen to her, watch her movements, she felt something, a strong pull, an intense emotion that flourished deep within her, and it made her react. "I will not accept this. You should not accept this. To have freedom, to have your own life, is hardly stupid. I am not cruel. I have never been cruel. I can make this work, I can help you to be at a point where you can do things for yourself, be your own person. How dare he just.... Blow you off like that. Blow off something so important. So necessary for your happiness." She tightened her grip on the cravat she was trying to loosen, and realizing her eyes were boring into the girl’s skull, she forced herself to look down. "I apologize.... Lexi, what do you wish to do from here?"

Lexi watched how heated the other girl got and bit her lip. She had no plan to let Allen rule her life forever, she loved her brother dearly but she knew deep down that she needed to get out and start her own adventure...her own chapter in life. Once the other female was done talking she smiled and shook her head. "It's alright, but I know that I can't go back to my brother. He wants to keep me in a bubble...for the rest of my life and I don't think I can live like that any longer. Please Liliti...please just take me with you somewhere, I can't stay here." As she spoke she looked up at the other with violet eyes full of hope and a twinge of sadness, ears perked forward for an answer.
Liliti understood family, understood loving them and wanting to make them happy, but she knew where this road inevitably lead; she had been in the same position once before, many years ago. Part of her wanted to stop Lexi, to somehow force her brother into accepting this so they could go off with his blessing, but overprotective family never changed.... Until they experienced the loss of that one person they had worked so hard to protect. She didn't want this to end up like her own life, but if she refused Lexi, the girl was sure to go off on her own, experience much more danger, and have a harder road back home.... So she did the only thing she could do. Grabbing Lexi's paw with her own, she looked deep into her eyes, felt a burst of electricity run down her spine, and smiled more sincerely then she ever had in her entire life. "If you need to run, I would happily run with you. I will take you anywhere you want to go, for as long as you like. And I promise to be there when you eventually meet up with your brother again. I will do whatever I can to make sure you're happy, and that you come home when you're ready..... Whenever that is. I just hope that he will come to his senses while you are apart, much like my own family did."

Since the silence was so long Lexi feared that the other female would tell her no and force her to return to her brother. When her paw was grabbed and the words spoken she couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief and tear up a little. This was the first time in her life that someone had actually agreed to let her do what she wanted with her life, instead of fighting against her wants and putting them down. She clasped her paw in Liliti's and blinked back more tears. "Thank you so much...Allen will come around soon, I hope and if he doesn't.." She broke off for a moment and tried to form the statement she wanted to say in the best way she could. "Even if he doesn't come around, I'll still have you, right?" She wanted desperately to be accepted by the other girl, simply because she'd never connected so well with another being in her life. The thought of just being around her kind of made her heart skip a beat, the sensation was foreign and new but she couldn’t help but want to continue feeling it.
Liliti looked deep into the girl's eyes, pulling her paws closer to her heart, a firmness in her expression that was all at once determined and gentle at the same time. "You can't think like that. He will come around. We will make him come around if we have to. But...." Her heart swelled right there, and she felt something borne inside her, something she could not seem to explain. She knew it right then, felt it in every fiber of her being, this was how things were supposed to be. This, whatever this was, this was right. "You will always have me, even if there's no one else.... And I will always return to you."

While Liliti spoke, Lexi's face lit up and she blinked back more tears. She wanted to say something, to tell the other female how happy she was, but she couldn't bring the words together. Her night of not sleeping was starting to catch up and it showed on her face, despite the happiness that showed there as well. After a couple more moments of fighting to get her brain to formulate sentences she managed to get one out. "That makes me so happy, Liliti, but I'm finding it hard to keep my eyes open...it seems that my all-nighter is finally catching up with me." She explained as a tired smile spread across her lips. "Is it far to a place where we can sleep?" The last bit was added after a moment of silence, her ears dropping slightly as she fought the urge to pass out right there.
The young pirate suddenly saw something in Lexi's expression that she had neglected to see before, too worried about the day before and this.... Feeling between them to really connect the signs. Nodding gently at her words, she watched her features suddenly grow tired, her body sagging with exhaustion, and held her paws for a moment more. "Can you make it?" she asked softly, "I can always carry you there. It's just up the coast to my parents' house. They should all be sleeping when we get there, so you won't be mobbed by curious family." She smiled gently, very tired herself, but no less strong or capable.... The only thing she couldn't handle right now is an interrogation, which most likely wouldn't happen until the next morning. Hopefully she would know how to explain the situation by then.

Faced with the question of if she could manage the walk, she actually had to think about it. She could barely keep herself awake while sitting and while moving would help she would probably fall about two steps in. A soft blush covered her cheeks as she looked away, slightly embarrassed. "I don't think I'd be able to make it without falling...would you be alright carrying me...I know it's a lot to ask but..." She trailed off when Liliti brought up her family and smiled slightly. "At least they care enough to be curious." She replied before trying to get to her feet. "But sleeping before meeting the family would be good, It would be rude to fall asleep on them I think."
A slightly amused grin crossed her face, her strong paws, used to heavy lifting, were none the less gentle as they pulled the girl over and placed her on the pirate's sturdy back, maneuvering her until she was safely positioned there. She paused a few times, making sure the girl was alright, nodding in approval and smiling as if to calm her during the process. "See, look, it's perfectly fine. I'm happy to help out." Swiveling her ears, she sighed, thinking of her family and their constant teasing, chuckling a little as she imagined what they'd say. "Yes.... My family has been worried that I'm alone far too often since my return. My brothers both have mates and I.... Only have one friend. It's safe to say they will happily jump to conclusions knowing I've brought someone home with me."

When she was picked up and shifted to the other female's back she couldn't help but squeak softly and blush. She wrapped her arms around Liliti's neck and snuggled into her as a yawn escaped her and her eyes drooped a little. "Your family seems really nice and loving." She stated, her voice thick with sleep as she pressed her cheek into the other's shoulder. It was apparent that she wasn't going to stay awake for too much longer.
Liliti felt comfortable like this, hardly straining under the weight of the small female, her back rather enjoying the gentle touch of the fur and cloth. "They are.... They very much are. I think you would get along with them very well.... Sleep well, dear.... I hope things will look better later in the day...." She went quiet after that, giving a gentle nuzzle to Lexi's arms when she thought she might be asleep, her heart thumping in her chest, a certain satisfaction in her expression. She walked for about fifteen minutes before they came upon her home; looking around for a moment, she went around the back where the door had been left open so she could slip in quietly, avoiding the rooms that emitted snores. Her room door also opened slightly as well, she pushed against it, tensing as it emitted a loud creak, and quickly scurrying in, before shutting it once again. Hardly daring to turn on the light, she let her eyes adjust as she slid the young girl off her back and onto the bed, looking at her lovingly as she herself perched on the other side of the bed, giving her all the space she would need. "Goodnight..... Dream sweetly....."
