Hobbies:

Archer - During her last year of middle school, Sigyn began to mess with archery. Soon after she became interested in archery, her parents gave her permission to get a bow and Styrofoam targets to set up in the backyard. She spent many hours of high school and college with her friends practicing or showing off her semi-decency at hitting the mark. As an adult, it's still one of her favorite pastimes.

Conventioneer - Anime, comic and sci-fi conventions are what Sigyn considers the makings of an awesome vacation. Her first convention was to Dragon*Con her senior year of high school. The cosplayers and interesting panels amazed her so much that she began attending cons between two and four times a year, depending on her financial status, and even met her daughter's father, Dorian, during her third convention. Having attended thirty conventions in her lifetime, she considers herself a veteran and hopes that Pyxie grows to enjoy them as much as she does.

Movie Buff - Sigyn loves movies and shows. She seems to always be wrapped up in one or another. When she starts to watch something, she wants to see everything about it, including the prequel, the sequel, and the spin-off. Even if it's a show she doesn't really care for, she wants to see it through once she's started. She's also very good at identifying and connecting actors. For instance, she, a fan of Bones, recognized Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Booth from his silhouette. It may go without saying, but her DVD and Blu-Ray collection is massive.

Virtues:

Friendly - Sigyn rarely meets a person she can't get along with. She tends to focus on the more positive things about a person than dealing with their lesser attributes. Even after a fight, Sigyn doesn't seem to hold grudges towards anyone and continues on as if the incident never occurred. She has trouble comforting a friend or loved one who's in the dumps, though.

Optimist - It's difficult for Sigyn to see the bad in life. She strongly believes that all problems will work themselves out with time. At least for her, that's the case. Partially strengthened by watching The Secret, she feels that negativity will only keep her from her future endeavors. Her luck fuels her positive spirit and leads her to feel as if there's a silver lining in life for everyone.

Truthful - Don't ask for Sigyn's opinion unless you want the truth. She doesn't like to sugar coat things or dance around the bush when something needs to be said. Though sometimes more blunt than she ought to be, Sigyn's tries to tell it like she see's it.

Flaws:

Chameleon - Sigyn is known for changing her personality to suit her best friend. Most people do this to a point, but Sigyn tends to mold her goals in life around her closest friend's own. Say the person is someone who aspires to be a musician. Expect her to purchase a guitar or start singing lessons within a week. Youtube star? She'll purchase a webcam and start her own channel. It's something that has driven her closest friends away, allowing the cycle to begin again. Please note that Sigyn will not cling to a friend with hobbies or habits that endanger her family.

Overprotective - As a mother of a young child, this is to be expected, but Pyxie is rarely allowed anywhere without her mother. She prefers to have friends of her daughter spend the night at her house, rather than for her to stay over there. It is a rare occasion that any play dates take place anywhere but her domain and when they do, Sigyn is never out of sight.

Stubborn - Sigyn doesn't change her mind very often once it's set. Over minute things such as, a distaste for a food she hasn't had since she hit puberty, a color to paint the walls of her home with, or a style of clothing, Sigyn will put up a fight to stand for her decisions no matter the outcome.



Mother: Ellanore Deidrech-Burns. [Age 53.]
Ellanore is a sweet lady and is known for her southern style of cooking. She even grows many of her ingredients in her backyard. It's sad that they usually only see each other around the holidays. She loves life and treasures moments with the ones she loves.

Father: Delane Burns. [Age 58.]
Delane is a crotchety old man who never seems happy about anything. He doesn't associate much with his family when they are around, and that's usually only for the holidays. His attitude took a downward turn after retiring. He seems to just be waiting for his end in front of his television.

Ex-Husband: Dorian Whitley. [Age 28.]
Dorian and Sigyn are newly mutually divorced, simply because they married young and grew to be too different. While the two still share a strong bond, it seems to have caused their daughter to become more clingy than she used to be.

Daughter: Pyxie Erikson. [Age 7.]
Pyxie is Sigyn's only child and she couldn't imagine the world without her. She is her everything and does her best to provide for her. Sigyn vows to protect her with every fiber of her being.

Ex-Sister-in-Law: Nola Burns-Whitley. [Age 35.]
Though no longer truly her sister-in-law, Nola and Sigyn still treat each other as family and share their current life situations with each other as they've always done. Nola usually doesn't input as much as her husband.

Ex-Brother-in-Law: Damian Whitley. [Age 38.]
Though no longer truly her brother-in-law, Damian and Sigyn still treat each other as family and share their current life situations with each other as they've always done. Damian is known for talking a bit more than he should about their personal life.

Ex-Niece: Kamille Whitley. [Age 17.]
Though no longer truly her niece, Sigyn still treats Kamille as family. Kamille's anti-family attitude has caused the two to not be as close as they once were.

An idea for weapon magic, building on the idea of making a place hotter, could be to create an oppressive heat on the battlefield which makes enemies (or maybe everyone but you!) grow weary faster.

Because a thermometer measures all ranges of temperature, what if the magic made an opponent feel both hot -and- cold. Like... it would fall under the "weather" theme as well as the "conflict" theme. It would lead to confusion at the very least!

And then if you leave it open to player interpretation, opponents would have the opportunity to feel like they're breaking out into a fever, or hotflashes, or something along those lines.

This quest looks pretty much good to go, I've just go one thing to address.

At current you've got the summon listed (both of which are fine!) but you don't have what the summon actually does listed. If you don't know and would rather figure it out later that's alright, as long as you post in the knight changes thread before she hits Knight stage.

If you do want to come up with it now though I'm happy to discuss it with you.

The animal really doesn't matter so much as the planet's theme's do. As Jupiter is about weather some kind of storm attack would definately work. Lightning, rain, large gusts of wind, mini tornado, etc.

Since your weapon and magic power aren't really offensive you could go with an offensive power if you want. Whether that's zapping with weak lightning or whipping them into tiny tornadoes so they get beaten and bumped around.

You don't have to go with weather though as long as it fits in with any of Jupiter's themes.

I was thinking something a little more simplistic like when it flaps it's wings or when it screeches it lets loose the attack, but if you want it to be constantly covered in electric energy that's totally fine.

It would only really be allowed to attack once, but using your electric cloud thing it'd be okay if it hit multiple enemies at once with the one attack. And the shock can be a little more damaging then electric fence (it can actually cause some damage) just not.. lethal/hospital worthy damage like real lightning.
