Moments like these take me back to the days when ya'all were complaining about high school, ...how nothing is fair and everyone is a d**k. Can't tell ya how many I've friends i've lost. Beginning to struggle with simple social tasks with people I should be comfortable with. sweatdrop

college sucks more because along with social problems you get the added bonus of financial insecurity

I agree. College isn't fun, despite what people tell you. At least, in my case, it's not. confused "Best time of your life" my a**.

Rya Dracosin Welcome to growing up! At least you're not going to be turning 30 next week. crying If it helps any, my opinion of 30 is this: you are still young, you are still vivacious, you are still beautiful. Yet now you own true knowledge, and you are a true force to be reckoned with. ~[ Juane Poison ]~ college sucks more because along with social problems you get the added bonus of financial insecurity The thing is, is that everyone I know has grown up and spread apart. I must hand it to my school in that it has excellent teachers, and is very diverse and very tolerant. I don't see the bullying in my school that everyone else seems to talk about. It's just that I was always stuck between all the cliques, kind of a lone wolf who was liked by pretty much everyone. But now no one really talks to anybody outside their clique. I'm just artsy now. I'll manage somehow...ironic. But I plan to take a gap year after high school so that I don't get really into debt. I have to work my a** off to stay on top. I need to buy those scholarship books...damn I have my work cut out for me. TLDR; High school students seem to isolate themselves; I'm taking a gap year so that I don't go into debt.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice place, has clubs, events, and all that junk. Just the whole college thing isn't for me, the stress, the workload, the fact that college is the reason my mom and I always fight, not to mention I'm pretty much already in debt thanks to it. =. = But I have to suck it up and deal with it. gonk

Party school? It's a large university, so large there's buses to take students across campus or to the other section of the University across town if needed. As for party school, I dunno. D: I don't really keep up with stuff like that. xD I'll give you a link to check out if you're intrested. http://www.utb.edu/Pages/default.aspx

If the college's address doesn't fall in one of the 5 boroughs, I'll throw them out of my mind. XD Although that may change if I get a full ride to a college out of state. I am curious, though, incase I find a campus like it in NYC. Odd hearing that all of you had bad times at college. gonk
