Unicorn naming rules
- Unicorns name themselves after nature and concepts in unicorn society. Names are often—but not always—compounds, tend to be short and simple, and must include a noun. You can reference basic technology (for instance Mirrorgaze would be an appropriate name, because unicorns know what mirrors are), but please avoid stuff that's too modern and/or technologically advanced for unicorns to know about. Unicorns aren't named "non-word" names like Alys, even if they are made-up fantasy names.
Examples of appropriate names: Meadowlark, Lakewatcher, Dawnsinger, Hazel, Shadow, Moon's Glow, Red Hawk, Warbringer
Familiar naming rules
- Familiars follow Roman and Ancient Greek naming conventions. Greek and Roman deities are a good source of inspiration, and made-up names that closely resemble Latin names/words are also fine. It is generally understood that these words are fragments of the Ancient language passed down through history, though unicorns no longer understand their meanings. A familiar will only begin following the commands of the unicorn it is bonded to once it has been assigned an appropriate name.
Examples of appropriate names: Aelius, Gaius, Phaedra, Cerberus, Artemis, Hestia, Faustus, Luna, Chrysanthos
Individual unicorn form
This form should be used for individual generation 1 unicorns obtained through flatsales, games, etc.

How to read the cert:
The unicorn's birth Wind letter on the compass is replaced with a new letter indicating its particular gift.
In this case the unicorn is of the West wind, and since the "W" has been replaced with an "M", he is a mesmer. If it were a "D", he'd be a diviner.
The blue number beneath the sex symbol on the right side of the cert indicates the unicorn's magic skill. This unicorn has a default skill of 1!
