So yet another new year is upon us. What would you like to accomplish this year? What are you looking forward to? Anything you think/hope will happen? Any resolutions? Discuss it all here!

I am applying to go back to university this year, so hopefully that will happen. It's also my little brother's last year of high school, so he's considering what he wants to do next fall, too. I am hoping that his last semester of high school is infinitely less miserable than mine was.
I don't really make resolutions, so I've nothing to share in that aspect. If I did make a resolution, it ought to be, "I will not worry so much about what others think."
Mostly, I'd just like to have more fun. The last few months have been good, so it would be really cool if that could continue into 2013.

Oh, forgot to post, myself. Here's some things I'd like to do:
- Move out to my own place - Start managing my own money - Find some form of employment I can actually do, with my limitations - Stop smoking completely - Cut down on excess spending - Save up enough funds to do the things I want to do
So most of the goals are money related, in other words. Most of these aren't really feasible without it.

"If 2011 was the year that things got better, I guess 2012 is the year that things stayed the same. Same job, same situation, same... Most everything. Just fewer friends as coworkers and fewer close friends in the city. Things could be a lot worse, and I'm grateful for what I have, but I kinda hope that 2013 sees more progress." So I said on Facebook. There's more than that, especially here on Gaia. I kept the guild running, and made some awesome new friends that made that possible, and really connected with some old ones. A guild really isn't something that one can do on one's own. I must move ahead in other areas, though. I want a few friends in the area. With my only local friend gone, I feel kind of secluded. I don't want a ton of people, just a close friend or two with whom I can blow off some steam and drink with once in a while, but everyone always seems to be so busy with other things, myself included. I really want to get back to drawing more and get a better job that has me working less so I have more time to put back into drawing. I have a new wacom, so I should be getting that up and running soon. Maybe that'll help. Then of course there's the backwings. I want them done by 2014... I think I'll need you guys to help with that, too. That thread will be coming soon.

This year I am going to focus on my health, and accepting my body for what it is, hopefully becoming happy with what I see in the mirror.
