 And I decorated it. How do you like baking cakes? I like from scratch but there was a box kit and a lack of ingredients for homemade. Then there was a bunch of sweet tooth people. sweatdrop

I like the pattern you used - it looks very festive!
Even though I enjoy baking from scratch, I rarely get consistent results. Practice makes perfect, I guess.

Nice cake! I bake from scratch or box mixes. I have been using the box ones more because they are faster and you can mess around with them more than a cake from scratch. I draw the line at frosting, I always make my own. 3nodding

I haven't gotten down how to bake a good cake from scratch yet so I mostly use cakes from a box. Especially because it allows me to have more time for decorating and fooling around with the cake's taste.

I've been making cakes and other stuff from mixes now but I used to always make everything from scratch. I made a Betty Crocker Gluten Free Devils Food Cake last week and omg it was amazing.

hi there im new! whee
that looks good to eat and cute too
but for me, i prefer baking my own rather than from boxes. though cake mixes from boxes are much easier and mess free. I love baking without using box mixes where i can freely enjoy everything smile i wish i had a mixer that can do a lot of task. too bad all i have is 20+ year old philip hand mixer. smile it is still working my mom kept it for long and i'm 23 now how cool is that.

i don't bake often but when i do i prefer to do it from scratch unless i'm pressed for time. box mixes just never seem to taste quite as good anyways

I like the design. What kind of cake was it?
Personally I like homemade cake more than box cake. It just tastes better but I won't say no to cake in any form generally.
