Hum, I'm either going to run with that exert I did for Goat, or I may go with My Evils of FF.net and tie in with the problems faced by critiquers.

Well it's more of for general school essays. Teachers keep trying to correct my paragraphs that are only three sentences, but convey a singular point like they're supposed to. Then I move on to another point. What irks me is that even though the paper meets length requirements they're still so pissy about a paragraph length. And they aren't really short sentences either. It just annoys me because what they're doing is spreading misinformation about paragraphs.
And even for a research paper there is no assigned length for a paragraph. I still go by the information must be covered. I just see no reason to inflate a paragraph with extra crap when a point is fully covered in three sentences.

Just got an idea though. It's okay if you don't have the files saved anymore, but hear out me here. Hehe. 3nodding Do you still have one of those school essays your teachers grumbled about? Especially one that puts your paragraph theory into application? I think an example would help explain things even better, and it would be helpful for readers to see. 3nodding And seeing how I haven't heard from Bane or Magnum, we might just have to expand your column to make up for it. sweatdrop Let me know, lol.

Hum, I may... I'd have to check. It may not be saved to my computer hardrive. Which means it's somewhere in the inifinite of my external subsystems. And those are always a pleasure to go through. And in fact, I'm pretty sure it's been moved there since I turned in the paper last Wednesday.
When is the next issue going to be coming out? (Want to see how much time I'd have to expand on this... Partly it's short because it wasn't originally meant to be a full column.)

I'm hoping sometime in early March! If you can't find a suitable essay in time, don't worry about it - what you have right now is certainly publish-worthy. I think it would just add a nice touch to what you've already done, is all. wink I think Nobrin may be able to tweak his column in time for the next issue as well, so that may solve our problems with the Disappearing Columnists Act. sweatdrop Hehehe.

Well I think I might add a brief interlude to the column using a parody version of Monty Python's Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch skit to educate about elipses.
Three shalth be the number of the periods, no more, no less.
