I'm a vegetarian. I never thought I could do it but one month I was like, "I'm going to stop eating meat" so I did. I still eat fish and eggs so it's easy for me. I'm more of a starch eater and need to cut back there.
I've been eating more salads. Just the other day I was craving chef's salad. I was talking to my dad it's weird. I usually crave sweets. xD
I did cheat on turkey day but not much. I tried fried turkey, compliment to the cook, but I didn't like it. That's it. I probably, I kid you not, ate two swallowfuls of turkey. Then that was it.
Anyways are you a vegetarian? Would you want to be? Or do you love meat too much? xD

➜➜➜➜ Oooh~ Me! I'm a vegetarian! Well, not fully but mostly. I eat chicken every fortnight or so when my mum cooks a roast dinner because she says I need iron or something. I try to get the goodness that you get from meat from other things but my mum insists. but I've basically been a vegetarian my whole life, with the exception of chicken ^_^ But I did go through a meat stage where mum let me try it and realise for myself that it's better this way :3

No, but I went Vegan for a month, It really changed the way that I wanted to eat. If you are cutting out meat make sure you are taking b-12 and a multivitamin.

I honestly could never stand to be vegetarian because I need my meat not only because it tastes fantastic, but because I need the iron and the protein more than a vegetarian diet could offer.

I am a vegan, and have been since March of this year. I had entertained the notion for a while, but eventually decided that enough was enough and turned vegan overnight. It certainly wasn't easy initially, but I've discovered so many delicious milk, cheese, and meat substitutes that I really don't miss being an omnivore at all. :0) I have a pretty severe gluten allergy which makes being vegan all the more difficult (I can't eat most of the meat substitutes, and I can't eat most things at vegan bakeries, etc) but I overcome that issue by cooking and baking LOTS of things myself at home haha.
I've also had blood tests done to make sure I have enough iron and vitamins, and I'm all clear. Just in case you were wondering, since lots of people assume that vegetarians/vegans are malnourished and lacking protein and iron. :0P
Aquatic_blue iron and the protein more than a vegetarian diet could offer. Iron and protein are really not that hard to aquire. Heck, tofu offers more protein per pound than meat does. Obviously tofu doesn't taste good by itself, but if you prepare it right it can be pretty tasty. :0)

I've never had the desire to taste tofu in anything. Some people don't like it no matter what it's in and others love it. I'm good and stable with my overall diet 3nodding

my little brother is lactose intolerant so its always in the house. i drink it occasionally because my doctor says i need more calcium. i dont like dairy products. almond milk is good, although i dont like it in my coffee. its a lot healthier than soy milk though, and tastier. too much soy is actually bad for your health, which i didnt find out until recently.

I'm not a vegetarian, though I wish I was. I heard one can lose a lot of weight from it. I no longer eat red meat, which is a start. I think the only meat I do eat is Chicken. My problem would be giving into the cravings.
