It's been awhile since I came on to this site. I mostly strayed away because, although I loved the information that came here and the pleasant discussion from time to time, I always wasn't pleased by the religious propaganda spread everywhere and crazy theories upon theories made out of the blue because of things such as " It's with the illuminati; it makes sense. "
Now I will say that governments aren't all what they are cracked up to be. They can be shady and abusive in power. Although, I've been mentally thinking lately on the topics within my mind and a few ideas have come up.
1. Is the government truly as powerful as we want to see it as? The government has done some sketchy stuff, no doubt, so of course that's known. However, why we view the entire government as sinister/evil/powerful isn't exactly in my knowledge. I know there were many things the US has done as a whole that was very awful. But...wasn't a lot of that purely paranoia and ignorance that caused an act of stupidity on their part? This topic is odd, as maybe the government isn't exactly awful, just stupid. Let's see where we can go with this.
2. The illuminati has been a pretty heated topic lately. Not exactly as a discussion on there doings and what not. Infact, I mostly hear about them within my local highschool from random kids speaking about hip-hop videos with the appearances of triangles being a sign of the illuminati along with lyrics pointing towards it. Is it real, though? The illuminati was a group in the past with a listing of scientists, that's for sure. Although, they were kinda screwed over by the church and... well... That's all she wrote. Since then, rumors that the group was evil spread on from there. I was thinking, it kinda seems coincidental that a group from the past is now brought back in today's light but as an evil and shady society with plans dark yet unknown to us. This is a difficult topic. For one, is the illuminati real exactly or just a hyped sensation created from paranoia and others to try and make it look real? After all, the media seems to have a big handle on this. It would be sensible for them to...say....take something completely out of proportion for more ratings and, therefor, more money. Could it be that the illuminati is just a cover up? If there was a true evil, I'm quite sure they wouldn't let just some rappers talk about them. That would seem kind of ridiculous. But a society that creates a hype about an organization that doesn't exist so they can remain in the shadows and do as they please while they retarded potato sack of a cousin takes the heat underground? Hhhmmm...
Just some theories thrown out there. I wont say any of them are real, but mere topics of interest I wanted to throw out today. Focus less on being worried of some pure evil hidden in eye balls or pure evil under the soil and more on just if something is a true being a coincidence or even a shadow puppet.

Most people aren't referring to the Bavarian Illuminati/freethinkers when they say "Illuminati". Nowadays it is just a covenient label applied to the greedy elite thanks to the likes of Tupac; He chose to refer to his "elite persecutors" as "illuminati" or "killuminati". Clearly, as a metaphor to more easily convey the notion of "secrecy" and "elite white men pulling strings behind closed doors". Poetic License: artists use it. I don't think the greedy elite of today chose to be identified as "illuminati" (but once someone did, they ran with it to deflect attention from themselves); they probably didn't want to be identified by a name at all hence why they resort to occult symbolism to leave their mark/signature and communicate with each other, precisely because not everyone in the government or their secret society shares their ideals (ideals not conducive to freedom).
When someone says "illuminati" nowadays though, you automatically know they're referring to either (1) a group of greedy, manipulative people willing to do anything to stay in power or (2) someone who is aspiring for material success and is willing to sell out their moral integrity to get there. "illuminati" or "the powers that be" don't simply manipulate in the realm of politics and war, but in religion too so good luck avoiding that razz . It entails anything from spreading propaganda/lies in the media, manipulating people to adopt different priorities usually via artists who willingly portray/promote those ideals for the sake of money/"security", scheming up false flag operations to make one country hate another and start a war. You can call it "illuminati", "the powers that be", anything you wish. Some of the pawns can be identified by following the money trail, but at the end of the day that is what people mean when they say "illuminati"—no good, greedy, power-hungry liars, who are willing to kill to stay in power.

Clover_IceQueen I think it's silly that people try to find stuff like this in EVERYTHING xd That's actually a big point I wanted to make through this but in a subtle way. I didn't want to make a big uproar like " OH YOU JUST BELIEVE IN THE WICKED MEDIA AND EVERYTHING THEY SPOUT WHILE YOU HEAR THEIR LIES AND BELIEVE IT WITHOUT QUESTION!!! "
While at the same time, I've seen many posts here created with wild theories from the simplistic news dated, as if scared that our society has progressed more and more.
I remember a while back there was a forum about a conspiracy behind a monopoly game. Like, a monopoly game. Something about how it records your actions and what not? It's a monopoly game aimed at young kids. Even if they did have a recording device, I don't see what exactly they would find from young children.
There is shady stuff in the world, but I think to actually find out what it is, the best idea would to be rational about theories and actually dig through them than flipping out to each new theory.

Now that seems a bit more sensible to me than a secret underground organization. but now the ploy is taken too literal, and people are eating it up like it's true. As if no one is questioning why on earth a 'secret' agency without a single members list trying to display their existence, for some odd reason, to the public and people paranoid of eyeballs and triangles. Although, it's obvious that the media and government are corrupted. ESPECIALLY the media. It's not secret that they only care about money. Do you know how many people have been ruined by corporations and labels? Many of my favorite music artists and musicians were bought out and turned to s**t to follow the lines of people with greedy porkish hands. Back in the day, I was kinda cool with hip-hop and rap. Not as much now because I didn't understand the lyrics, but I was trying to. Back then, years ago, Lil' Wayne use to be a decent artist. Decent that is but still pretty good. Now everybody hates the guy and he's terrible. It's ridiculous. All for money. ******** sellouts I tell ya.

So, I look up the most random/disturbing things possible to give them a good time xd
