This may sound like a silly question,
as we are surrounded by ignorance,
but are there areas of the US or even the world
where there's an abundance of people who think like us?
I mean, I know people in other areas of the world don't
HAVE to think like us... I digress.
I know the larger cities seem to attract a larger variety
and therefore more of a possibility of finding people
like those in this guild, but I was wondering if there were
any cities in particular that anyone knew of.
Portland, for example, seems to cater to people like us in a lot of areas.
I ask because I'm living in Texas, absolutely drowning in
confederate flag-waving, drugs-are-bad-mmkay, god-is-good-mmkay assimilates,
and have been working towards moving back either out-of-state,
or maybe even out of the the country.
I need to be in a place with more people like me.
I feel like a sane person in an asylum going crazy trying to
persuade everyone that there's nothing wrong with me!
Wondering how everyone around me could possibly say
and do and enforce the things they do.

I have no clue. Among my friends, I was the only one that liked to explore ideas beyond one source and one's own culture. Funnily enough, that's what led me to the bible, lol. The way is narrow because not many people actually care about the truth. So many of these "god-is-good-mmkay" folks don't know (or accept) what their god has to say anyway. But yeah, I'm not really aware of places where there's a mass hub of truth-seekers—aside from the groups that form on the internet.

real eyes realize I have no clue. Among my friends, I was the only one that liked to explore ideas beyond one source and one's own culture. Funnily enough, that's what led me to the bible, lol. The way is narrow because not many people actually care about the truth. So many of these "god-is-good-mmkay" folks don't know (or accept) what their god has to say anyway. But yeah, I'm not really aware of places where there's a mass hub of truth-seekers—aside from the groups that form on the internet. Darn, I was hoping there was some magical island I hadn't heard about.

sweatdrop I think we all wish for that... Looks like we have to form a small army and invade a small island. Then get ahold of a nuclear bomb. (Not to hurt anyone) But to be able to demand our independence and our country's recognition VERY quickly. I'm thinking we hit up a south pacific island that's very fertile. That would be such an awesome country! But anyways the closest to free people I've seen is Iceland. They kicked out the bankers so they might be on the right track.

those who gave their lives and land for our utopia, right? Haha!
Yeah I've been hearing about that. Very interesting indeed.
It blows my mind that the people here don't wake up and realize
we could have the power if we truly wanted.

the desire to step outside your local paradigm is inherently a minority trait outside of a concentration camp. Even terrible environments typically breed conformity. The level of bad that people can become accustomed to through the method of gradualism is astounding.
