  Suggestions and ideas
~Along with trying to solve exactly how we got here, we try to solve where the stolen jewels are hidden by following the scattered pages from a journal written by the thief/someone who knew the thief.
~NEW IDEA We have a great cast list for having a healthy list of suspects, most of which could be with us to prove their innocence. However we were thinking scrooge could tag along possibly in hopes to be greedy and snag the jewels, but in the end when we go to apologize for not being able to help, he could have a change of heart and realize what he's done can cause pain to others and fess up? We are thinking the actual stealing of the jewels could be more of an elaborate prank on both us and Mrs. H (Forgot her name^^')

Robayn Hey guys, I need to know if this room has decided to do a fully developed plot. Since no one is doubling up, I'm think we can handle one, but maybe not as complicated as some of the other rooms^^'

Kaneira the Great Robayn Hey guys, I need to know if this room has decided to do a fully developed plot. Since no one is doubling up, I'm think we can handle one, but maybe not as complicated as some of the other rooms^^' I think a plot would be fun for you guys, but a simple on like last year's so that you are still having fun, but are also able to keep up with the newsroom duties smile

None really yet, except that we need a MYSTERY to solve! emotion_kirakira I don't know what kind of mystery, but we detectives need to detect stuff! 4laugh
Although...I will say that in Northanger Abbey, Catherine Morland is literally expecting to find mystery and danger around every corner. She's read so many Gothic-horror novels that when she gets invited to visit some friends who live in a renovated medieval abbey, she is actually expecting to find skeletons in the closet, blood-encrusted murder weapons under the bed, incriminating letters sealed away in every box...of course the whole point of the book is that none of these things EVER happen and the friends she's visiting are actually as mundane as can be, but...in an RP, we can have a lot of fun with that. Catherine is always looking for a mystery, and just when Sherlock is about to tell her she's just being a silly woman and is never going to come across ANYTHING, she finds something BIG.
Hehe, plus in A Study in Scarlet, Watson tells us that Sherlock Holmes has read just about every sensationalized crime thriller out there, so if nothing else, Sherlock and Catherine can compare notes on the thrillers they've read. :mgreen:
And I'm still not 100% sure who's playing whom, since I know there were some duplicates and stuff. But I looked over our list of choices for our room, and...it's awesome! We've got a FUN mix of characters! emotion_awesome

Hmmm Well I was thinking the mystery could be something along the lines of who could have possibly known his life so well to write it down, however that could be like a side mystery, they could run into a real big one in the old building though. But would an old murder be a bit extreme?

Hmmmm....well, it seems like we usually do try to shy away from really dark things like murders and stuff, but having Sherlock try to figure out who wrote down his stories could be fun! (Although I think in the books he knows it's Watson, but I don't remember for sure.)
But if we do get the go-ahead to solve a murder, that could be neat. Or maybe they find secret documents or something. mrgreen
Heh, and I still have some of the code games from last year in the spy room that I didn't use. emotion_awesome

I think this mystery idea. Murder or even just finding secret things.
Although, we could tie mystery into the main plot somehow.

We could look into a kidnapping or a theft? Say we find a page torn from a notebook explaining how there is some hidden treasure and we must look for the rest of the pages to find the stolen treasure in the building or even around the city?
