Monster info The OnnaThe Onna are Japanese Yōkai, meaning "otherworldly" and "weird" while Onna means woman.
Species Type: Spirit
Origins: Japan
Species Powers: Walking through things
Species feature: Skin color is usually blue in color, sometimes a more ash looking one can come but always with a blue tint
Gender: Always woman
Weakness: Fire
- Ameonna "Rain woman"
An unlucky lady that seems to be jinxed to have the rain follow them wherever they may go.
Racial power: There is a small rain cloud the follows the Ameonna around which will reflect the mood. Angry = dark cloud with lightening, happy = light grey cloud, sad = rain. The cloud is an entity of it's own, it can go to close friends to purposfully anger those around the Ameonna or actually rain for no reason.
- Futakuchi-onna "two-mouthed woman"
Characterized by two mouths – a normal one located on her face and second one on the back of the head beneath the hair. There, the skull splits apart, forming lips, teeth and a tongue, creating an entirely functional second mouth.
Racial power: The second mouth often mumbles spiteful and threatening things to the woman and demands food. If it is not fed, it can screech obscenely and cause the woman tremendous pain. The hair can move like a pair of serpents, allowing the mouth to help itself to the woman's meals. While no food passes through her normal lips, the mouth in the back of her head consumes twice what the other one would. The hair makes it hat the Futakuchi-onna must constantly be eating.
- Harionna "Barbed woman"
A woman with extremely long hair tipped with thorn-like barbs and she uses it to ensnare men.
Racial power: The Harionna is in direct control of her hair, however it must be kept brushed often so that it does not tangle because her hair will tangle quite easily.
- Hone-onna "bone woman"
A usually skinny looking woman who lures people in to keep herself from undoing her guise.
Racial power: She can take small amounts of life force from others to keep up her appearance, if she does not her true form, a skeleton, will appear. In skeleton form the Hone-onna takes on the racial weakness of a skeleton, meaning large pushes or large gusts of wind will disassemble her and someone will need to help to put her back together.
- Kuchisake-onna "Slit-Mouthed Woman"
A woman who was mutilated, the corners of her mouth were cut open to make a much larger mouth that can reveal sharp teeth.
Racial power: The mouth works quite like a serpents mouth, she can unlock her jaw to open up the scars, but her mouth can and does get jammed like that.
- Mu-onna "nothing woman"
A woman who is a vengeful spirit, she tries to protect children but often tries to merge or absorb them.
Racial power: The ability to enter a body as a residence or to merge with it. Because of her name, the Mu-onna may lose herself completely while in another body and will in fact be absorbed by the body instead of her absorbing it.
* The Mu-onna is a touchy monster, players will need to tread very carefully and will be monitored by staff to avoid an over powered character,
- Nure-onna "wet woman"
Resembles an amphibious creature with the head of a woman and the body of a snake, her true form is 300 m in length and has snake-like eyes, long claws, fangs and long hair.
Racial power: A ghost that can shapeshft into her real form, once in her real form she takes the weakness of the shifters.
- Yuki-onna "snow woman"
Appears as a tall woman with long black hair and blue lips. Her inhumanly pale or even transparent skin makes her blend into the snowy landscape. Her eyes can strike terror into mortals, and she floats across the snow, leaving no footprints.
Racial power: She can transform into a cloud of mist or snow if threatened, fire has a double weakness effect on the Yuki-onna.

■ Personality:
+ Benevolent: Kaguya really tries to only mean the best. Even if it doesn't always work out to the benefit of everyone around her or sometimes even herself, she only tries to do good and nice things for other people, especially friends. While some call her troublesome because of her meddling in some affairs or taking on too much, she really is only trying to help regardless of how many times it will backfire right back into her face.
+ Modest: Because times have become hard on everyone, Kaguya has turned very modest, she does not need excess amounts of clothing when some can barely keep the clothing on their backs. Nor can she accept extra money if someone else is more in need. If given a compliment, she'll probably just laugh it off and fire another compliment right back at you. Kaguya doesn't let compliments get to her head, and on that note, she hardly lets anything get to her. Overconfidence can lead to misfortune, she knows this much.
+ Hardworking: Graduating is a must for her, there should be no slacking around. Kaguya is constantly working, either mentally or physically. She sticks her hands or mind into the problem at full capacity, giving every situation or whatever she’s doing her 110% always. She cannot abide by laziness or self-pity. Kaguya works hard to build something for herself and to keep it with her always, in this case it’s to keep her good grades.
- Wary: Old habits die hard, she may seem open a lot of the time, but Kaguya is actually uncomfortable and a bit paranoid most of the time as the old ways are still lingering. It’s still hard for her to trust any of the other monsters, but she’s trying. Her biggest discomfort is with large crowds. She hates the jostling, the constant friction between herself and other people. Too much of a weakness, there's too many unpredictable variables. A contradicting statement in her personality. Kaguya may hate large crowds but she also hates the silence of waiting alone. It makes her antsy.
- Reserved: She is quiet a lot of the time. Kaguya keeps to herself because it keeps her out of trouble and out of everyone else's minds. There are times when she'll feel comfortable enough to simply sit around and have a conversation with some girl friends, but she’s more of a listener. While some of her friends appreciate the listening ear, it’s sometimes a lot harder than it ought to be to get information from Kaguya. She very closed lipped with those she does not know.
- Stubborn: Kaguya does not like to wield to the instructions of others, so best believe that she’s only going to do what she thinks will be best for her or, in some cases, her close friends. Once Kaguya has made up her mind, there is a very slim chance that anyone will ever really persuade her into changing it. You could try. She'll consider your argument, then act on her own accord. Furthermore, it is nearly impossible to shake her morals and opinions. Do not even go there. And don't think that, just because she won't argue with you, does not mean that she is conceding to anything you have to say.

Biography
■ History: Kaguya was born in the Meiji period(1900) of Japan by the name of Asuka as the atotori, meaning heiress, to a geisha who wasn't one of the most successful geisha in the district, but had caught the eye of a dana early in her career. She was dotted on by her father at an early age, and was taught from the beginning by her mother who was very strict in her teachings. They moved to the Pontocho district when Asuka turned five and she was sent to an okiya to learn and continue her training, this was the same okiya as her mother.
Kaguya started her formal training to become a maiko as a minarai and found an older sister to watch over her and was given the new name of Kaguya. Her mother visited rarely, but when she did it was to make sure her daughter was on the right path. Kaguya died one night when her onee-san and she were corner by some thugs while returning from a party. She tried it back to the okiya but was unable to, pinned down she watched as another Geisha approached her knife in hand. Jealousy was not a rare thing in this period, and the woman got down and slit open Kaguya's mouth.
She died that night, but she returned as something else, something only fabled to scare little children. As a ghost, no one could see her and so Kaguya drifted, learning what she could and finally ending up at Horror High many years later.

Very creative idea! I love her species; I've never heard of it before.
I'm not sure you need crit, since you are staff, but the fact that you omitted some things like family relations had me curious. Are we allowed to do that, or would you rather us just put a '-' or 'N/A' so you know that those parts weren't forgotten or missing?
Also, I'm only posting here because I got permission from you via PM, but if you wanted feedback from others, might it be a good idea to post 'Open' so people know it's okay to post in here? Just a suggestion, of course.
As far as miss Kaguyahime...isn't 'Kaguya-hime' a noun with an honorific? ^_^; Wouldn't that be like naming somone Mrrogers instead of 'Mr. Rogers' or Kingarthur isntead of 'King Arthur'? Not that it's wrong or anything, I just wondered if that was what you intended, along with the relation to the celestial princess of the moon, Princess Kaguya.
Out of curiosity, since Kushisake means 'split-mouthed' or something similar, wouldn't that be a bit peculiar to also have as her first name? I just thought that this lovely lady of yours with as unique and creative a concept as hers deserved a name more...unique to herself and her nature. At the moment, wouldn't her name pretty much translate to...'Slit-mouthed Princess Kaguya'...? ^_^;
Finally, I really like the interesting relation of this creature to the story and 'creepiness' factor of the Glasgow smile and Heath Ledger's Joker. It really gives some things to think about regarding the history of this being and her ties to domestic abuse and a warped sense of beauty.
I read up a little on her species and I found it intriguing that she asks questions kind of like the greek sphinx, (only with no 'right' answer) and that instead of eating the up the person she asks the question to (like the sphinx), she cuts them in half, stabs them with scissors, or cuts their mouth like hers. I almost expected with a mouth like that that she would eat little children to. Come to think of it, do you know why she only asks children her scary question...?

I'm in the process of writing up her species info actually ^.^ Since it's suppose to be in your quest thread if you're going with a new species which is also why I don't have her open yet hehe.
For the family thing, it's in the extras and considering her parents died a long time ag I didn't feel the need to add them in smile
As for her name I actually had -no- idea D: I'll actually just call her Kaguya then XD Stupid posters > sad
Kushisake is actually her last name, Japanese write their last name first (If I remember correctly and I hope I do XD) which is why I put it first. Most of the creatures from Monster High actually have their name as a variation of their species for exmaple Spectra Vondergeist, Abbey Bominable, Ghoulia Yelps. So I was going for a similar feel smile
Hope that clears up some questions !

XD I am aware that Japanese write their last names first (I have an Ouran character, Roka Toshiro, who has an e-mail with his last name first), but I assumed that for the sake of this shop that you would have recorded it the other way to avoid confusion, as not all the creatures are Japanese. Sorry; I shouldn't have assumed. It's cool that you did that, though! Maybe might want to write somewhere that it's written in Japanese style to avoid future confusion...?
Ah, I see! Oh, you're supposed to mention if you're going with a new species? ._. I might have missed that...was it in the rules? *needs to go back and check* Thanks for telling me! I'm assuming that includes subcategories of species already mentioned in the registry...?
Is it in the extras...? Sorry, I thought they changed the quest skeleton format... @_@ Maybe they changed it again, and I didn't notice... I gotta keep up with these things. I thought the most recent form had family in the required part. I also thought you might have been the one to update the quest skeleton form, but it seems I was wrong...?
Oh, you're right, haha. I forgot about that name thing in Monster High. Nice touch~

I would of never thought of bringing a Slit Mouthed Woman here! I wanna give you stars for being badassery 83
I only have two real problems with this.
The first one is the history. It's a bit short and it's a bit lean. I'd like to see more about her life as a geisha and such.
The second is her powers. Honestly, I'd give her something like shadow teleportation powers. I think it'd fit in really well with the theme of her. ALSO GEISHA ERMAHGERD. I'm so excited about her. I wanna be frainz with her. And cuddle her. And make her give Aoife style tips so she's not always hanging her business out for everyone to see. 8D
