Amy stood quietly for a moment, feeling the wind blow her pigtails slightly. It was a nice warm wind so she smiled and toyed with it a bit, making little changes in the temperature of the wind around her hands. When they were warm enough she dropped her backpack on the ground and opened it. It was full to the brim with baseballs, each looking pristine and ready to be hit. She looked around and turned so the wind was blowing with the direction she was facing. There was a bit of a treeline so any balls that made it there she wouldn't have to worry about finding, not that she would find any of them even if they didn't land in the trees.
She took out the first ball and prepped herself, she used a bit of her wind magic to suspend the ball in front of her bat as she readied her swing. After a few seconds she took the swing, a loud crack echoed as the ball went flying. It landed almost out of site on the ground with a thonk. She got the next ball ready the same way but put a bit more force into her swing. The crack was even louder and the bat wings on her bat fluttered with excitement as the ball soared over the treeline. She waited to see if she could hear it hit the ground but there was a different sound. More like someone exclaiming out at being hit instead of a ball making a crater in the dirt. "Ugh for Jack's sake... I hope I didn't hurt them that bad. I really hope it wasn't a hunter... they might want to turn my game into a fight like Sha was talking about."
She sighed and picked up her backpack, zipping it shut before slinging it over her shoulder. The walk to the treeline wasn't that hard but finding out where her ball had landed took a bit, she had to change directions at least three times before she spotted someone sitting down with her ball next to them. "I am soooooooooo sorry about that.... I was testing my swing ya see and it went a bit farther than I had expected."
