The happiest people don't have the best of everything.

xxxHello to all~ This is my first time in this type of guild. And when i say that, i mean, a guild for everything! I'm quite amazed at how organized it is here, personally. If i was running things, you wouldn't be able to find the 'where to join' button. :c

That was a lame intro. Haha. x3 Well, hello, again. c: My name is Snow, but you may call me by my Username, or by my normal name, i really don't care~

I usually am not part of these type of guilds, but i thought, 'Why not try something new for a change?' And guess what? I did! Hehe. So far, i'm happy to say that i like with my decision. ^^

Okay, so more about me. I am 14 years old, and am home schooled. From where are you, you ask? Why, i am from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have lived here ever since i was a small fetus in my mother's belly. If you were to ask, i would say i am Bilingual, on my way to Trilingual. English and French are fluent in my household, and we're working on Japanese, as well. :3

I am for gay pride because one of my family members is homosexual, and i am proud. My family is also part of the Canadian Marines.

Usually when i talk about myself, i mention my family first. They usually pop in inside my mind when someone asks about me. It's weird, but hey, whatever. c:

Hm. What else? o: OH! I love to Roleplay, and am quite literate. All of the guilds i am currently a member of are role play guilds, except for two. >///< Yes i know, i'm quite dedicated, but i am proud!! That's really all i can think of currently.

This guild looks like a lot of fun~

I appreciate you reading, too. c:

Welcome to Burn, I'm glad you decided to join us. If you're into roleplaying, you can always check out the Roleplay subforum. I encourage you to start up one, it's always good to see new ideas in there.

You are the apple...

Welcome to Burn = )

I've always wanted to learn Japanese, but I've never really taken the time to try. Multilingual people are always admired by me.

Also, if you haven't already, go post in our Birthday thread. Some people like to wish people a happy birthday and some even like to give gifts!

and I am your core.

xxx@kefkadragon : I'm sorry sweetheart i don't believe we've ever had the acquaintance. Do you remember where specifically you think we might have met?

@Shannon Kyra Liannanon : Konnichiwa, Kyra-Chan! genki desuka?

@Ittarius : Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I might stop by to say 'hi'. c:

@Rock4ourRock : Thank you! I'll stop by there as soon as i possibly can. And, learning a language is quite easy, as long as you have the desire. I simply adore speaking in another language than the norm. <3

@Irako of the Desert : Thank you so much for the welcome, i will check that out as soon as i can. ^^

xxxAh! gomenne, Lianna. :c

Hehe, that explains a bit. Normally, when you say, "Moshi Moshi?" You're answering the phone. XD You either Use, Konnichiwa(Hi,Hello, good afternoon.) Or, Konbanwa(good evening.) Or, Ohayogosaimasu! (good morning.)

Also, genki desuka? Means, How are you? You'd answer back, Hai, genki desu! Meaning, Yes, i am fine. c:

Also, when first meeting someone, you say, Hajimemashite. That means, "It's nice to meet you for the first time," or, "Nice to meet you." When you're more aquinated with a person, you can simply say, "Doozo yoroshiku."

Yeah, that's a small lesson for you. >.< If you'd like to hear more, i would be more than happy to teach you, ne?

Also, a helpful thing to say is,

"Sumimasen, Watashiwa nihongo ga sukoshi wakarimasu." That literally translates to I Japanese a little understand. But in terms everyone can understand, it says, I understand Japanese a little. You can't say, "I UNDERSTAND JAPANESE, YEAH." You have to add the 'Sukoshi' because you must be modest, like most Japanese people are. c:

i'm online. that's close enough to the phone emotion_awesome
some of this stuff i already know, but hey, reading it again is always nice.
but yeah, i'd like to learn more emotion_kirakira
it'd be cool if i actually knew someone Japanese (or knows the language very well) to help learn over here owo
but can't have everything~
i have 3 journal entries, and the second and third are on Japanese-related stuff. first one is on the back life of a couple of my RPCs of the one guild i'm in owo
but that's for if you're curious to see what i'm doing on my side~

xxxWell, i am not fluent in it, because it's pretty damn hard to fluently learn three languages at only 14. ^^;

But anyway, i can provide you with all the beginner's information. Because, if you don't have the foundation, you will not be able to write, or read Japanese. And for all i know, you could be pronouncing this all wrong because you might not know the alphabet.

And if you ever hope to speak, let alone construct sentences, you must also know particles, and 'STPOV.' So....Yeah. xD There's a lot of foundation.

hence the 'i need a teacher' part
the main reason i'm learning the written form (as in actual kanji) is for my comics, though i use some in the guild i'm VC in (and my main/original the Captain) up in the forum titles. there's a thread in the OOC/main page that says what they are~
and i have kanji in my quest thread title.
there's a link in my Sig to it, first one~
it's not all kanji, though, just three words

xxxWell, kanhi is important, but as i said, that is part of the alphabet. You still have Katakana, and Hiragana. But, once you ace those, you only worry about kanji. (Also, you seem very in depth with your kanji, which is very nice. :3 )

I can't exactly be a perfect teacher, but if you would like 3 years of solid Japanese under your belt, i'd be happy to help you.
