Mordred♦
User Image
Main
Name: Mordred
Nick Names: Traitor Scum is a local favorite.
Alias: Why hide behind the mask of a name?
Alliance: Whatever or whoever will cause the most chaos. And himself, of course.
Race: He's a human... Or at least, he was. Even he isn't sure what he is, currently- not that he particularly cares.

❧Physical Characteristics
Age: Just a bit under 2000-ish years old, but he appears to be roughly twenty or so.
Hair: Black as midnight.
Eyes: An eerie, icy blue that can chill even the most iron of wills.
Skin Tone: He's a fair-skinned sort, rather pale.
Ethnicity: Caucasian.
Scars, Birthmarks, Tattoos: He has a scar from the wound inflicted by his father, Arthur, that killed him.
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 200 lbs
Marital Status: Single (and possibly very flirtatious, depending on the situation)
Physical Structure: A bit on the thin side, but muscular enough to maintain a somewhat imposing figure.
Orientation: Heterosexual.

❧Personal Info
❖Transcripts:
Alignment: Chaotic Evil.
Criminal Record: Attempted parricide, treason, various involvements in conspiracies since then, and various counts of murder, arson, and other fun little crimes. Not that he's been caught, unless that was part of the plan.
Level of Education: Primarily Druid teachings on Avalon
If Collegial:
Current Occupation: Waging war, of course!
Past Occupations: Druid, Knight of the Round Table
Family:
Arthur Pendragon- Father
Morgaine- Mother
Lovers, Friends, and Others:
Mordred doesn't really have any 'friends...' He has pawns, nothing more.

❖Personal:
Personality: Oh, he's quite enjoyable company, so long as you're useful. But the moment you outlive your usefulness, Mordred has no need of you; and he will dispose of you in the most timely fashion, be it abandonment or death. He's doggedly single-minded in his pursuits, but has an affably debonair charm about him when it suits his purposes. He's quite skilled at manipulating people and deceiving them, and is a fantastic liar... However, when it comes down to it, the only true feelings he has are hatred for his father, the thirst for revenge... And the deep-seated desire to simply be done with this cursed 'destiny' of his.
People Skills: He's actually very good around people. Great at parties. Funny, seemingly kind... He's a fantastic manipulator, but nothing more.
Goals: Kill his father, and fulfill the other half of his destiny.
Fears: What awaits him in death, and the possibility of no longer wanting to kill his father. He's afraid of losing that hate... Because if that's gone, what will be left?
Favorites: He's a fan of fine Italian foods and wines, after spending some time on the Mediterranean.
Role Model: "I look up to no man; the only ones above me will assuredly fall to their knees in time."
Catch Phrase/Motto: "Why did the dead baby cross the road? Because it was tied to the chicken."

❧Skills,Abilities, and Powers
Skills:
Master swordsmanship and archery.
Abilities:
Magical inclination; his Druid ancestry strengthens his already potent magical powers, listed below.
Powers:
Mordred, being trained in the ways of the Druid, is a powerful sorcerer and highly trained in the magical arts. He has also trained under the Old Gods, the Fomori, and become well-versed in the more primal aspects of magic. This sets him apart on the scale of magic as far as mankind is concerned; he outclasses even most Fae in his skill and power.

Specifically, he is attuned to the darker side of Archaic magics, thanks to his training with the Fomori.

He is capable of wielding Elemental magics, to an extent, but is restrained to what is available to him in the environment, save the element of Fire; he has mastered Fire almost completely, and can generate that element at will.

He is also capable of Auric magic to the extent of a vampiric type of effect; he can tap into the auric energy of one individual at a time, and drain their energy, leaving them feeling weak and disoriented while simultaneously strengthening himself. The stronger the opponent, the less effective this strategy is, as the more auric energy they have to draw from- and Mordred can only absorb so much. While he could kill an ordinary human through an auric drain, more magically inclined opponents can be tougher.

Mordred is also capable of casting various Mind magic spells and illusions, such as influencing thoughts and feelings to a minimal extent, just enough to sway. The most drastic thing he's capable of in this area of magic is erasing a few moments of memory from a target, and he is only capable of doing so if they are in a weakened state, mentally- such as surprised.

His physical magic is restricted to simply disguising himself; however, his disguises are near-flawless, incredibly difficult to see through even for the most magically-inclined.

Mordred is also gifted and cursed with The Sight; he sees glimpses of the bleakest possible futures on a regular basis, in his nightmares. Every night. More often than not, these come in addled, hole-filled riddles rather than direct visions; what he sees might be accurate by metaphor only.
Weaknesses:
He's just a human, technically. If it could kill a human, it could theoretically kill him.

To maintain his power, he must make ritual sacrifices and cause havoc and chaos wherever he roams.

His temper. He's generally very cool under pressure, but certain weak-points can set him off in a blind rage, and in this rage he might be vulnerable in ways he wasn't before.
Technology/Weapons/Pharpenilia:
The Ebony Blade- a sword forged from a meteor, enchanted by Merlin and gifted to Sir Percy, the first Black Knight; because of all the blood spilled by the blade, it acquired a curse on top of the enchantment. The sword is sentient, and bloodthirsty; it speaks to Mordred telepathically, at times. Said to rival Excalibur for all it's traits, the unbreakable sword was stolen from its original owner and used to kill him, and then do battle with his father. The blade naturally secretes a paralytic that works rather slowly; after inflicting a wound, it might take two to three minutes for the victim to feel the effects begin.

History
Mordred was the son of Arthur Pendragon and Morgaine, his half-sister. He was raised, however, by Morgause, and raised specifically for one purpose; he was predestined to kill Arthur and bring about the end of his kingdom. While he did achieve the latter, he never truly succeeded in killing his father... Which, after his defeat at the Lake off Avalon, drove him temporarily mad. In his fit, he struck a deal with the Old Gods of Avalon, the Fomori; these evil creatures had waited in secrecy for the chance to cause destruction whenever possible. Their ultimate goal is to bring about enough chaos for them to retake Avalon from the gods; Mordred, for his part, must eliminate Arthur to fulfill his destiny and take the throne when Avalon falls to the Fomori. And so, after his defeat against his father, he went to their Forgotten Realm and trained himself in their darkest of arts, becoming powerful enough to one day challenge his father again... And this time, claim victory. He secretly resents his destiny, though even he isn't completely aware of it; he feels as though this is something he literally must do, and has unwittingly put himself in a situation that does indeed force him to follow through with it- despite his own internal wishes of having free will.

Loookin' snazzy.

Just a few things.

One:
Could you please list the magic abilities based off the ones in the Magic List? Trying to keep the different types down.

Two: Are the Fomoiri going to be popping up in your posts? Likewise with the Realm, if so it will need an application sent in. Oh! And in order for him to take over Avalon, he needs to take out the Guardians and Viviane as well. Art just rules Camelot, not Avalon.

Nah. the Fomoiri tend to keep to themselves... That's why they need pawns, like Mordred. He'll mention them from time to time, but often just to brag about his 'unimaginable power' in epic fight banter and such. As far as the whole Guardians and Viviane thing goes... I didn't know that (whoops)! Juuuust gimme a second. By the time you read this, half the stuff will probably be edited. Or, at least, I'll have started working on it.

Done did it! Hopefully it's all fixed up. I think this is gonna be fun! lol

So, yeah. I was kinda thinking I'd bring Mordred in about this time, while all the chaos and stuff is going down. Just for kicks and giggles, plus this would be the most 'opportune' moment for him... But I just realized he's not accepted yet. So... Yup. I DID fix all that stuff you mentioned, so it should be good to go, I just need the green light from El Capitán.
