A woman sits alone in the corner of the large room, her elbows resting on the black lace of her puffy violet dress. Her face scowls a bit and her dark lip is pouted as she brushes a long black curl of hair from her face. Above her left breast, and peeking out from under more black lace from her Victorian styled top is a sticker that reads: HELLO! My Name is- Edel Condulmer The Witch of Fruition

Not long after Edel appeared in the room, another figure walked in, this one tall and wearing long, flowing, regal robes made of a fine black cloth. He had a white-gold tiara of sorts on his head as a crown, and looked human enough (as well as hypnotically handsome with his smooth, chiseled face, sea green eyes, and flowing light blonde hair that went past his pointed ears). He had an almost overwhelmingly strong magical aura emanating from him, but there was a slightly disgruntled look on his face. The source was a small sticker on his robes that read:HELLO! My Name is- Feranes The King of the Fey

Edel looked up as a bit of movement from the doorway caught her attention, then quickly sat up straight in her chair when the tall figure came into full view. Her eyes widened a bit as the dark orbs ran up and down the man's figure, resting a few times on his face.
Handsome was an understatement. Those ears though....he wasn't human. How long had it been since she'd had a non human "friend"? ....The fact that she had to think about it said it all though, didn't it.
With a small smile, she leaned back in her chair and brushed the dark hair from her own HELLO sticker. "They got you to wear one of these too, did they?" she asked, he tone playful.

Feranes looked from his sticker to Edel, and nodded politely. "Yes, they did. They told me it was important because my people do not interact with mortals. I wanted to say that I could simply tell my own name, but..."
He shrugged his shoulders in a slight movement and looked back to Edel. "Ah. It has been quite some time since I have seen a mortal with magical aptitude, milady," he said.

Edel's smile widened a fraction as Feranes spoke. Handsome *and* polite...
With a quick movement of her hand, she flipped her dark curls off of her shoulders and stood from her seat. "I believe these stickers are custom for small gatherings like this to help strangers remember another's name. But...I prefer formal introductions." she said, then bowed a little and pulled the corners of her old-fashioned dress out to the sides. "I am Edel Condulmer. The self-titled Witch of Fruition." she said, then straightened herself out and looked up at him with a smile. "I do not leave my home very often at all. To my knowledge, there are extremely few mortals with magical aptitude anymore."

Feranes nodded. "It does seem to be somewhat rare, I will admit, for mortalkind to possess magisters. It was far more common in my youth when I would interact with humanity more often," he said. "Feranes, King of the Fey. It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Condulmer," he said, and he gave her his own bow and a slight smile. The sort of little smile that could make a hormonal teenage girl outright faint if they were lusting for him.

Edel's smile widened, and turned a little more...flirty. "The pleasure's all mine." she replied. "It has been years since I have been in the presence of a King. When was the last time you interacted with humanity?" she asked.

At this, Feranes' face became clouded. The last time he had encountered humanity in any meaningful capacity was in his home universe. But before that... It was when he had been terrorizing them thousands of years before as Taros, the Scourge of the World.
"The last time, where I come from, was a few years ago by my count. But before that... Well, I have lived for a long time," he said softly, and he was completely oblivious to her attempt at a flirty smile.

Edel nodded. She had noticed the look on his face when she had asked the question, and decided against questioning his past any further. "As have I. I don't really recall what period I was born...but I remember the fifteenth century quite well." she replied, moving towards him so that they could talk better. And she to get a better look at him, of course.

"The fifteenth century. For you mortals, that is quite the lifespan. I too do not remember precisely when I was born, but I know I have existed for tens of thousands of years. Quite a long time indeed," Feranes said, again not noticing Edel's flirtatiousness. "Time is nothing more than an illusion to my kind, truly."

With that little tidbit of information, Edel's smile vanished. She stared at him, her dark eyes growing a little wider as she worked the math in her head. That was....incredibly...older than she was. And here she thought she was the oldest there was anymore. Any of the men she had ever had in her company were certainly centuries younger than her.
...he certainly didn't look like he was ancient. Not with that kind of a face. But then...his kind did ten to look young for...well she didn't really recall ever seeing an aged looking Elf before.
"O-oh." she replied, her tone a little unconfident compared to before. "My word...I can honestly say that I've never met someone who has lived so long." she replied. Then she paused a moment in thought, and the flirtatious grin returned in full fold.
...at least she wouldn't be a cougar with this one. It would be nice to have an experienced friend...better one that she could learn much from.

"God, it smells like old people and grossness in here," a voice grunted, almost muffled from under the shadowy folds of a hooded robe. The robed figure limped into the room, his belts full of pouches and his oaken staff all fitting his image together quite nicely; the only thing out of place was the odd nametag sticker on his chest. It read, "Hello, My Name Is..." neatly printed in white lettering across a red border, and then in the white space beneath, a crudely scribbled, barely legible "Samuel" had been scrawled across in black sharpie. "The only thing missing is a bowl full of hard candy, and we'd have a freakin' retirement home." He chuckled to himself, stepping forward and glancing between the two, silent for a moment. Then he laughed, and held up a hand, waving it back and forth as if that would void his words. "Nah, I'm just kidding. I just overheard you guys bragging about how old you were- kind of weird, y'know? But I figured if there's anyone who can appreciate an old people joke, it'd be old people." The hood lifted only enough for the two to see a smirking mouth on a smooth-skinned chin. The voice was definitely masculine, but the thin, almost frail figure beneath the hood didn't particularly define itself towards one gender or the other. Samuel was a generally masculine name, though, so two out of three pointed to the hooded figure being a male.

Absently meandering from the direction of the snack table, and having eaten most of the content of the cheese platter, an incredibly statuesque woman, clad in tight biker jeans, an Iron Maiden T-shirt, and a denim vest, with a short brown ponytail, moved toward the elvish looking man, the woman in the frills, and another guy with a hood on. From the smell of her, the woman had just recently been through some... physical excitement. It might've brought a smile to her face, but the elf guy, and the hood were still something of an oddity to her. Treyna, previously the marauder werewolf Treygood, moved over to the hood, and chuckled just a little at his comment.
"Why does little ol' me get the feeling I'd prob'lly be considered the baby here?" She chuckled, "You got some hard candy, man? I could use something besides cheese. Big girl's gotta eat, right?" Surely anyone would notice the nametag the woman of six-foot-five had placed not-so-accidentally on the center of her bust which read simply:
HELLO! My Name is- TREYNA SLIM SHADY THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND

Edel had given Feranes her undivided attention. But when the words "old people and grossness" hit her ears...Feranes was the last thing on her mind. Her eyes widened, and her black orbs shrank a bit at the sound ripped through her ears. She turned her head towards the offender and stared at him as he entered. Physically, the only sign given that she was furious was in her eyes. Her posture relaxed as much as it could be, though her hands were now squeezing the sides of her dress. Her expression was unchanged, but her eyes were practically blazing.
She may have openly bragged that she was from the fifteenth century...but she was still a lady. You do NOT call a woman old.
As the man spoke, and it was clear that he was joking, the death glare she had been giving him subsided. She crossed her arms, gripping the sides of her arms, and pouted a dark bottom lip. "Perhaps...though some may still be sensitive to being called "old" right off the bat. Not a very successful first impression..." she began, then flicked her eyes from what could be seen of his face to his name tag. "...Samuel. Hm." It had been a while since she had heard the name Samuel. Usually it was "Sam" or "Sammy".
Edel turned her attention away from the cloaked man when the woman walked up to them. There was definitely a contrast in style between herself and the other woman...but then again she was probably one of the few women left who wore Victorian styled dresses on a daily basis.
Edel's eyes moved to the woman's name tag, read over it, then smirked a bit to herself. It was...cute. She may not have been out of her home in quite some time...but the last time she had met with the Queen of England, she looked quite different than this.
...At least the last couple of Queens.
...she was old in the human sense, wasn't she?
