Lucian wasn't in the most sociable of terms today. It wasn't anger this time, but nervousness. He didn't want to be around anyone so he went to his favorite hiding place. A secret crack of a door that lay hidden in the way of a hall way. The best way to describe it was a glitch in the castles magic that left a hidden area no bigger then two of three people could sit in. No one seemed to know about it so it was perfect for Lucian just to crawl in.
He sighed as he lay on the floor placing out the tarots. He could never read anything pertaining to him but it never stopped him from trying. At least this was a more entertaining way to check the quality of the deck. How much he wish he could get a new one that wasn't torn and dirty. Some of the cards were taped back together from other kids at the orphanage ripping them up while they picked on Lucian. It seemed to Lucian though it would be a long time before he could get a job and have money of his own.

Jane strode purposefully down the hallways of Hogwarts. She had been looking for Lucian for about half an hour now. She hadn't found him in the Slytherin common room or in the dining hall and had figured he had gone to his secret hideaway to get away from people. She had noticed he'd been doing a lot of that lately.
Now if she could only remember where that blasted hidden doorway was!
She had finally gotten around to writing to her brother and asking him to send some of her furniture and rugs from her rooms so she could decorate the hidden room better. She wondered how Lucian would take her doing that. He seemed fine with it being just a stone floor, but it had to get pretty hard and tiresome to sit on it all the time.
She was relieved when she recognized the area where Lucian had first pulled her into his secret room and glanced around carefully before slipping inside.
"There you are!" She exclaimed plopping down to sit next to him. She glanced down at his Tarot cards and frowned slightly. She hadn't realized they were so tattered. She'd have to get him a new deck before she took him to meet Von. Vonali Darix would not be impressed by such a ratty set of tarot cards..though the tall slytherin that was laying out on the floor next to her more than likely would. He had to be at least as tall as Von was and he was only a first year.
"I've been looking for you for awhile now."
