Here, let's discuss who we want to win the 2012 American Presidential Election! You can simply toss in your vote, tell us personally who you want to win, and even give your reasons! Holy sheet, have fun guys.

Rules:
o1. There will be arguing here, of course. Just take a deep breath, remember this is the internet, and calm down. Don't let us ruin your day.
o2. Remember, this is OOC stuff, and will not be brought into in character things.
o3. No yelling out about dirty liberals, or rascally conservatives.
o4. Take this seriously, it's not much of a joke.
This is for fun, OMG

I'm sorry to say that the military stuff you just mentioned....most of it is political bull, especially the increase military. It has actually been downsized to an almost all time low.......I'm a soldier and I can tell you most of that is crap as well as some of the other things....just say I don't care who wins anymore because it ends up being the same crap only a different wrapper.

I'm actually being forced to vote by my mother. So this is funny, that I would be commenting. Due to the nature by which my mother wants me to participate in this execrable disaster of an election, I'm choosing precisely to spite her by doing very nearly what I might have otherwise; I'll be queueing up to place a pointless vote for the independents. I know well and good an independent vote is a wasted vote, and frankly I couldn't be happier. Neither of the pus-bloated political shitstains either national convention had the blinkered gall to call candidates deserve my support and I wish them a long respite in hell.

It's all quite admirable-the policies and ideals both of our country's main parties are founded on, and, like most United States citizens, I find myself more or less evenly torn in my support...however I would be a whey-faced b*****d if I didn't think the people actually in charge of things weren't all insane, evil, and damnable.

Channeling my inner Hana. In all seriousness, however, kindly ******** this election.

The country can finish rotting through for all I care.
PostPosted: Sat Oct 06, 2012 3:30 pm

to be completely fair, i never really cared about politics because the truth is i see it as candidates and their respective parties bashing on each other to make themselves look better. In my personal belief i don't have to bash another person to prove a point, regardless of this though I think in the first election most people voted for Obama just to get in a black president, so the majority of it was one sided and not truly based on their promises, beliefs, and standings. that said though, I really don't care to vote and if i did have to vote I'd gear towards an independent party. I'm not going to talk on my beliefs of the military because i don't know enough about the subject at hand to make a sound argument. To be honest i don't think this thread is a very wise forum, it will just cause problems based on beliefs and make people angry, but I'm just being honest with myself.

Post from my phone, so don't expect bells and whistles.

In our guild, we're running with independents and democrats in the lead with a little tie. Lets keep going guys!

I vote Independant, but I agree entirely with Ouka. When the people who will one day lead this country need to bash and try to discredit the other party, it just makes the whole damn place seem less mature. Kinda like kindergarten class head. It's a position that's just laughable and crude nowadays.

Now... I also agree with Ouka, and will endeavor to keep my nose out of this forum as best I can.

I agree with the above statement, coming from the fact that most of my family is military, and that I will be to once I'm done with high school, talking with them about it they've basically said the same thing!

Presidential elections are like a choose your own adventure book, you don't know what's going on, nothing is explained correctly, and no matter what you choose you'll end up dead through random subjective bullshit.

I don't vote for a good president, I vote for the one who's going to sodomize America the most discretely.

And to be honest, claiming that you want to improve public education while trying to slash the budget for PBS doesn't exactly instill any confidence in Mr. Romney's subtlety.
