A massive, 300 foot tall golden gate with various inscriptions of Tyral's laws looms before anyone wishing to seek the path to the upper tier. Thick stone walls surround the rest of the upper plaza, the climb far too steep for most ordinary people to ascend the walls to even have a chance of breaking through them. The turrets to each side are manned with five gunslingers apiece and have golden orbs on the tops, ready to reign down Holy wrath on those who seek to harm the Swords of Salvation. A Knight often walks the walks him or herself, and bells lay next to the golden orbs, ready to raise a general alarm at the first sign of intrusion. Behind the gate lays the reserve of the army of the Swords of Salvation, those seeking to cross this path without permission evoke either war, or suicide.

He was flanked by a following of 6 cleric aspirant, split into three on either side with their heads bowed to observe their shadows in the sun. "Observe the darkness you create, even in Tyral's divine presence above us. It is a piece of the truth; one we must all embrace. Each of us casts a shadow that mocks us. Do not let it mock your actions. Let your actions mock the dark that tries to fill you. As the day progresses and His power over Rykros grows, your shadow grows smaller and frail. It is incapable of acting without you, if you truly worship His radiance. If your shadow moves of its own accord... it is a hallmark of the dark ones. Search for this tell-tale. It will betray them to us. Reflect on this." The aspirants did not speak. They remained, penitent, in constant observation -almost obsessive- and study of their own shadows.
Meanwhile, the Morning Lord Valarous Sunshield observed the sky, the sun, and the withered scabs of the marsh's outlands.

"There is only evil in action, Lady Liliana of Ernya, Sage Elementalist ███████████████████████████████████████
Wing beats filled the air as a creature of Light descended upon the group. An ascended dragon touched down a few yards away from the leader of the Swords, bowing low to allow its passenger down from its neck. A woman, dark of skin with arcane markings along her skin in the colors of the elements, gracefully slipped down to the earth below. Her gown was white, flowing around her in an unfelt breeze. "Valarous Sunshield," she said as she approached, speaking quietly but with a firm power to her voice. "Bright blessing from the land of plenty. I am Lady Liliana the Light, leader of Ernya. I have come to speak with you about some of my people who vanished in your area."

The dragon was met with silence, awe, and humility. No one raised a weapon or reacted with aggression. Any that lingered was quelled at its crux by the figure of splendor, and many of the clerics whispered the name "Alewar" with bowed heads as the guardian touched down. "Lady Liliana. I remember your name from prophecy. It spoke the truth. We are in dire, strange times. The future seemed uncertain, but rejoice young faithful of Pital, your presence was heralded from afar!" The Morning Lord gleamed as through a sheen of spirited fire. His many golden wings unfurled, and each of the clerics before them knelt. Each wing brightened his luminosity until he was a sunburst blossoming anew through the day. Just looking at him was breath-taking, but required squinted eyes. "I know of your agents. What was their purpose in travelling through Wormwood?"

"May we speak in a more comfortable location?" Liliana asked as Alewar became his normal wisp form. While everyone would be squinting, Liliana seemed immune to Valarous' glory. Where the truth was more of the fact she was tempering down her own ability to see energies to compensate for his uptick in aura. To everyone else who didn't know the truth, it look as though she was staring into the face of the sun without a single problem. "I feel we would have a much better discussion if we're in comfort."

"No." The Morning Lord's response was as concise and tapered as the edge of a scimitar. None of the aspirant clerics spoke, even as the gates beyond Lord Valarous began to rise upwards, and the entrance and parapets above each bristled with glittering suits of armor. "You are loved, Child of Pital. You are one of few testaments true to the faiths of Rykros' Children. What have you to hide? Let us speak here, plainly, as true speakers do. It will put my flock at ease, and it will do you the service of earning their trust... and if you do not have their trust, my Lady, you do not have mine." The "Fallen" creature neither sneered nor snickered nor spoke in sarcasm nor insincerity. "Prove that mortal creatures such as we are worth the entrustment of the realm, Liliana. Speak the truth, here and now."

Liliana nodded with respect, even if her mind was a bit blank at the moment. Did they really hold her so high, when she was just another person like them? "As you wish. I was only seeking a little comfort after my travels of the day, is all." She smiled with the statement, showing it had been truth. "As for my people. One group had come here to seek information of disturbing reports that were being brought to my attention. I was old friends with the original leaders of this land so I was trying my best to help here as well as my own lands during the Plague War. That group went missing shortly after they were sent. Recently, I had sent an envoy of aid to those starving to your south, both by land and sea. Neither group reached their destination and I was hoping to find out if you knew anything of those who would have traveled by land. From either group."

((Sorry Jacky, I'm not exactly... sure... what happened in the post up there. It looks like it was editted or something. Here's the full post. "Should you wish for respite after this discourse, we shall provide it. You are welcome here, Liliana, as an exemplar of Pital's grace...." The statement did not end. It dwindled as all others remained silent. The Knights that assembled alongside the Golden Gate remained at the ready; their glittering plates glinting bright below the ascended sun of noon. "... and you will remain welcome, so long as your devotion does not obstruct Tyrel's work. I can not speak to the fate of your sailors, but your caravans were escorted here. Each that you sent was tested to the extent of their faith. Those that showed true conviction remain here, tended to. They may leave with you or stay, if that is their wish. The others were put to the sword." Valarous' tone was somber, but there was no trace of sadness or shame in it. "You should not have sent them here. The savages of the Desert worship beasts and ghosts. Until his death, they revered a soulless Darkbringer and his Necromancer confidante as their masters. Not long ago, they cried out for deliverance from the darkness that their Vampire slavers had cast over the desert. This is known. Look at them now, Liliana. They have embraced the evils that once plagued the. They have embraced The Void. They have sired darkness without end over their own lands. They luxuriate in the palace of their former Barons as though it were their own." The look on the face of every Knight present was chilling. It was a unified mask of righteous hatred. "You know of the age of Fear. You know as well that Pital herself scoured the bounties of the desert from its surface because of their faithlessness. In all of this time, they have not changed. Their heathenous bloodlines never will. No aid shall be rendered unto them. Their inner desolation bleeds into reality, and finally they walk the road to their perdition. Only through their end can the Desert be exonerated from the sins of its denizens." "His voice cuts through the black fog, shining truth through all falsities!" The figure that spoke was one of the 6 by his side. Her head rose so fast that the cowl upon it slipped to settle back behind his neck. The expression on her face was nearly rapturous, and her soft blue eyes glistened with tears. If Liliana read her, what she saw might be more distressing than all memories of the Plague War. She believed it. They all did. Among them, there was no shadow of doubt. These men and women were true believers to their core. Valarous' radiant face smiled, and his wings curved to cradle the backs of the clerics beside him. "You can see it, can't you? Faith is returning to the world Liliana. We stand on the brink of a new age. The Age of Redemption."

The bottom of her stomach fell out when Valarous explained he had killed her people. But what was worse was the fact that none of them were disturbed by this. That they all were so enamored with the words of this honey-tongued poison that not a one found the murder of innocent people wrong. Her stomach turned but she fought down the urge to vomit. "I fear I cannot agree," she finally said. "Pital teaches that all are equal. That every land touched by her grace has treasures beyond measure, should you actually seek them out. Personally, there is no evil in any being. Only in the actions they choose to take." Her eyes swept over the group, taking them all in. "I know two of my most trusted still live, Valarous. Arron the sword master and Leifang the mind master. I want them returned to me post-haste." Her pleasant attitude gave way to the hard line of a long-lived leader. "As well as my other citizens who still live. Then I will know how much to bring to task for the murders of my people."

((Next post, Lei Feng and Arron both enter unchained but escorted)) The Morning Lord's expression didn't really change. Only the subtlest hue of sadness seeped into his creaseless face. "I did not expect you to. That is why Pital and Tyral have ever been at odds. It hurts, to see someone you love standing so adamantly against the truth. Our light reveals the greatest treasures. Our dedication unravels every mystery. Our knowledge shows us that there was once a time when mortals were beyond the whims of good and evil. That time has passed. That age is dead... but I forgive you, in your ignorance. Alftanz, bring up her subjects." One of the Knights rose, and vanished from sight around the side of the Golden Gate. "What I will not forgive is the presence of more agents of Darkness in these lands. You will not send them here, Liliana. They do not belong. It is out of grace that I spare the life of your Vestitor and Kakurenbo. Should you send others of dark blood, they will not be saved and their blood will be on your hands. You and your ilk have been warned."

If only he knew how red your hands already are, Graveheart crooned in Liliana's ear, walking around and watching with amused cruelty. For once, Liliana was glad she was the only one to see the specter. "You grant mercy to my strong but slaughter my weak. You mark yourself a coward, Valarous, to bring blade against those who cannot or will not fight." Her hand swept before her, directing to the expanse of people around. She didn't care how many stood here. Her words would be heard and, if it came to it, she would defend herself and her own with everything she could bring to bear. "You teach those who follow Dawnbringer that there is more stock in murder than pursuing the power of one's mind. Have you stopped to think if some of the ones you have put to death, who lived a 'dark' blood, might have been one who looked to Tyral of guidance?" Power trembled through her voice as she gave her last pronouncement. "Tyranny has been slain once before. It cannot stand long on its own." Graveheart laughed as she waited for Valarous' reply.

Many number of people gathered around the main gate of the entrants, all believers of their Deity group together in a single base. But one of them is different, a cleric join in the crowd just like the rest, wondering about the new arrival wearing her blue clothing. Hair bright as gold but eyes dull light brown like bronze, came up to one of the priestess at the very back of the situation. "Hey, what's going on?" She's a bit to far from the gate to see anything. The woman turn around to look at gold, notice right away it was Alexander's right hand woman and right away tell her what she know. "It is Lady Liliana the light, leader of Ernya. She came in her mighty dragon and speaking with Morning Lord right now!" The young priestess quickly reply. Gold knew right away who Liliana is, if she's not mistaken to anyone else that could have a same name. Liliana, an old mage friend that has dark skin and once healed her burnt arm. It's hard to believe that its been so long since she last saw anyone from Axiom.
Gold want to see if this is the very girl that she is thinking of. Srin said that she is here leading the Forest Ernya so it must be true! Gold push throw clerics aside, passing throw them tours the gate where everything is happening. Her first sight was the golden fallen angle, then the dragon came to view and then finally Liliana. She is exactly like she last saw her; a grown firmed body with dark purple hair and colorful markings on her body. The only different now is that she's grown much muncher and wearing a white lovely gown that she would very much like to try on. Standing behind some of the clerics, Gold stood there and wonder if Liliana would recognized from her new appearance. Sure, she's a seer but her bloodline been changed as well so who knows that very much effect of her even senses her. Gold was attempting to wave over to her to get her attention but she quickly draw her hand back down, remembering that the Golden Fallen is in present speaking to her. No mater how excited she felt of seeing an old friend, she doesn't wish to disturb their discussion, keeping herself in place.

((Arron and Lei Feng enter unchained, but unhealed with only 100 HP from being previously tortured by Alexander)) Valarous Sunshield's body flared like a solar lash curling across the mirrored surface of his armor. As Liliana's words shook with power some of the men and women present fidgeted, uncertain. Fearful. Valarous did not. The serene calm of his face remained, graced by a subtle smile, as his voice defied the power of the Seer. "I grant mercy to neither the strong, nor weak. I grant mercy to the deserving faithful; the salvation of our planet and the pride of my Patron. What of you, Liliana? You speak of cowardice when you chose to scour the face of Jiaum. You slaughtered, weak, strong, innocent, guilty, faithless and faithful alike..." He looked into her eyes, behind her seer's cloth, and she could feel his gaze. It burned, and she could feel that he peered through the veil to see something more. In that moment Graveheart's smug malice would flicker. He was not unnoticed. "Your words are naught but dust here. The influence you've come to covet falls away. I have faced my deepest darkness. I cut it out of me. My fold has done the same. You have stumbled deeper into it, convinced that your message is the word of Pital. It is naught but the prattling of a once-blessed child slipping further and further from grace, and deeper into madness." While he spoke, the figures of Arron and Lei Feng bot appeared, unbound. They did not need to be. It was clear by the weight in their bones and the look in their eyes that they weren't a threat to anyone at the time. The blood had been washed from their skin, but their wounds were far from healed. Their minds' injuries might never heal. "Still, Liliana, you are correct. Tyranny is not long for this world. It shall be undone. When you break; when your restraint fails and you become death, your reign will be short lived. Once the world is clean again, we will truly be free."Lei Feng and Arron both were now before Valarous, their backs to him; their eyes facing Liliana. "Take your thralls and leave this place, Liliana. Do not return."

Arron looked up from being led out, seeing his Lady standing there for him. But she looked on the defensive. She feared attack. It was then the implications of what Valarous was accusing her of sunk in. With a roar, he wheeled on Valarous. "How dare you?!" he bellowed, drawing up what strength he had left. "Our Lady did no such thing! Jiaum is our allies! She has no reason to do anything like that! She is no twisted person like you and those you call ally. If anyone here is mad, it's you!" He turned to Liliana, pleading with his eyes and mind to her. "Tell them, Lady Liliana..."
