is looking for plots! I have a lot planned for her in the future, and I would love for people to help me get her there! Who is Sydelle? She is a Majin who was raised in a secret Majin cult. Because of this, Sydelle was groomed to be impeccably good at feeding subtly and hiding her identity. Her guardian was killed by Reapers so no she currently attends the academy, and it's very stressful for her to be alone and having to hide who and what she is. The cult leaders have ordered her to remain where she is, and she has no idea if there are other members within the Academy.
Sydelle will become a Spiritus eventually. So she knows there is something different about her. OOCly, the plan is to have her true form be a terrible Lovecraftian creature. Sydelle will devour her first Witch's heart via a special ritual that is tradition within the cult. This would be the same ritual in which her mother was murdered by another Majin.
Sydelle comes across as a victim. She likes people to pity her and feel protective over her. She is very manipulative, and she likes it when people confide in her, so she comes across as very trustworthy and innocent. She is not above using a mistaken version of her past to elicit sympathy. Sydelle feels a deep-seated need to impress people she feels are powerful and dominant. She is afraid of letting these people down. She wants to grow to become extremely powerful.
What kind of plots would I like for Sydelle?
◆Sydelle's guardian Chlor was killed by Reapers. There was a small group of them, and there could certainly have been Cerberus or Black Heart Knights there as well. They found her hiding in her room and mistook her for a victim, not realizing she was actually Majin herself. It was one or several of these Reapers who enrolled Sydelle in the Academy and it's possible they still look in on her from time to time. Sydelle has all of their faces branded into her mind and has vowed to eventually kill them all.
I would love it if someone with a Reaper or Knight character wanted to be involved in this plot. Your character would have been present and possible been responsible for killing Chlor. They would believe they were Sydelle's rescuer and savior and she wouldn't disabuse them of the notion, but when she grows up she will become a nemesis. This has the potential for a lot of stuff in the future, so if you're interested I'd just ask that you're committed to future roleplays as well.
◆Frenemies - I'm not sure if Sydelle will ever be able to become true friends with anyone that isn't a Majin. But I would love it if she had a couple of people who thought she was their truest and bestest friend and told her all their secrets. If you're looking for some kind of future betrayal, this could definitely be a match made in heaven!
◆Guidance - While Sydelle is still part of the cult, they aren't in her life every day. Or even very often at this point. They figure she's good where she is for the moment. Sydelle could use the friendship/mentorship of an older or more experienced Majin. Preferably ones which are leaning towards becoming Witch-Eaters or are already Witch-Eaters. I could see Sydelle really attaching herself to a mentor in a potentially lover/worshipful kind of way.
◆ The Cult - I'm still developing the concept of the cult that Sydelle belongs to. I use the term cult very loosely, as they use a cell formation and don't conform to many typical cult behaviors. They could also be considered terrorists or a secret organization. I'm still working out the kinks. But if you have a Majin who you would like to be involved, let me know! There are a few details about what I've got in Sydelle's journal (linked above) but it's still a work in progress.
