Most recent one I was praying last night in my bed.
I felt like I was floating and my eyes were closed and I saw pretty colors and a silhouette of a man with his arms out.
I kept praying and praying and it was just plain neat, the more I prayed the lighter I felt. then as i was praying in my mind it went to like a gibberish language which I didn't understand at all.
but it was still pretty cool.

Nearly every time I pray - but the presence of some Gods is stronger than Others. smile If I pray and I don't sense Who I'm praying to, it's an indication to me that something's wrong that I should work to fix, either in myself (my focus, my mental state) or in the way I approach that particular deity.

One particular ritual to Þórr in the middle of winter involved asking Him to protect the hearth and home from the threats posed by the season. I held this ritual on a night when the wind was fiercely strong and howling about, battering the house as if the roof might lift off at any moment. When I went to pour the libation to Him outside, I noticed the wind had stopped entirely.
