ive never had one but reading this thread makes me NEVER WANT TO GET ONE EVER
are you prone to them? i hear you can reduce them if you pee after sex, IDK IF THAT'S TRUE HAS SOMEONE ELSE HEARD THAT?
Yeah. This is the stuff I've been told:
-Pee before and after sex, washing your genitals if you can, and your hands too if you use them during sex (and this applies to both partners, regardless who gets the UTIs)
-Drink lots of water and cranberry juice
-Wipe front to back
-Wear cotton panties
They're supposed to be preventative measures. But some people are just more prone to them. It can be due to the size of your urinary tract, position of the urethra etc.
Like I do all the things they tell me to do and I still get one every few months. Sucks balls. Sometimes you just get unlucky.
