Hello Fire Emblem Forever, and welcome to my new upcoming fanfic of the character Roland. When I say upcoming eh... I mean it, regrettably. I probably won't begin it today. I've got studying to do! But eh, this is where all the story will go.

As most of you already know, Roland is one of the Eight Heroes who fought in the Scouring, a war between humans and dragons on the continent of Elibe. Wielding divine weapons, the Eight Heroes turned the tide of the war, eventually leading to victory for mankind. All dragons were either driven out of Elibe, or forced to live in hiding.

Roland, referred to as the "Little Knight" by Athos, wielded the blazing sword Durandal. A large, and powerful blade, capable of taking a dragon's life in one swoop. Roland returned to his homeland after the war. He formed the Lycia Alliance, thus becoming the first ever Marquess of Ostia. However, little else is known about him... In legend, Roland also supposedly used Durandal to restore life his homeland, after it being ravaged by the brutal war that took place. But could it be only myth?... We'll see... (I only got a vague idea of where I'm gonna go with this story anyway...)

In this fanfic, I will divide his story up into different "acts". Each one will skip ahead quite a bit from the last, but will detail important parts of his journey to become a "hero". Are you ready?... I'm sure not! Cause I got memorizing Japanese syllables to do hahaha. Sorry. I'm going to try and add an Act 1 or Prologue as soon as I can. sweatdrop
