A small, serene village where young trainers start their journey in the Coria region. After arriving by boat to the dock, the trainers will first see the rather large laboratory. There they will meet Professor Rose. Unfortunately for young trainers, there is no Pokemon Center or Pokemart. So be cautious until you reach Vormund.

With his first Pokémon caught, Chad decided to stop by his home in Willowcove Town to make sure he had everything he’d need for his journey. The town was peaceful right now, maybe because there were going to be a lot of people starting their journey. Either way, Chad knew that he would need to focus on himself first and foremost. That’s what it took to be a good trainer, or so he believed. Chad knew that his Pokémon would be the key element to being an awesome trainer, but it wouldn’t do any good if they had a crappy command-giver. Because of this, Chad made it a personal goal to keep his mind clear, at least until he was finished up at his home.
Chad quickly walked into his home and started in the back room where his bedroom was. Since his father had passed away, Chad really didn’t have the time to go over all the things in life that he had thought were important. It was sort of regretful, but Chad didn’t think he’d have anything to live for if he actually thought about it since his father was where he spent most of his time. There were no girls that sparked his interest and all the people in this town seemed to just drift by.
Chad pulled out his Pokeball that contained his Nincada and launched it into the air, causing his Pokémon to come out in a blur of red light. “Hello. Looks like I’m going to be starting my journey with you today.” Chad smiled warmly to his newly obtained Pokémon, who in return smiled back. It clearly held no grudges against him which was a good thing, considering Chad kicked it as hard as he could into a tree earlier that very same day.
After getting a few sets of clothes and enough food for a backpack, Chad decided to set out on his journey. He wasn’t much for camping, but then again, there was a now or never situation and this happened to be it.
After returning his Nincada to its Pokeball, Chad stepped out of his home and locked the door behind him. He was a bit reluctant to leave his home, especially now that everything was said and done. It was kind of hard walking away from the place he considered home for so many years, but then again, all chapters end. “Bye pops.” Chad stepped off his doormat and walked down the neighborhood a little, avoiding the stares of all the neighbors he’d come to know. Most were happy that he was finally letting go of the past, but Chad knew there was no way he’d ever let it completely go, at least not at night when he got to stare up at the night sky and self-reflect. His father was always the first thing to come to his mind at times like that. Sometimes he was calm and collected, but others he cried. He just hoped that if he ever had to do that, he would be able to stay strong for the sake of his new partner Nincada.

Excited about starting his journey, Kadaj raced towards his temporary rented out place in Willowcove and quickly cast his poke-ball to the ground, causing his Poochyena to come out of the Poke-ball. Immediately it began barking, making it clear that it hadn’t forgiven Kadaj for smacking it across the face. “Come on little dude, when are you going to give it up? You lost, just get over it man.” The Poochyena turned its body away from Kadaj and snorted as though it were exasperated. “Aw, dude come on. We’re going to be an awesome team if you get over this funk you’re in right now.”
Kadaj folded his arms and looked up into the clear blue sky, hoping that some sort of idea would pop into his head about how Poochyena and he could mend their somewhat awkward relationship. “Oh I got it! Yo’ little dude, how about we fight another trainer and see if we can beat their Pokémon!? I heard that trainer’s build bonds with their Pokémon through battles. What’s better than an actual battle right?” Kadaj smiled in a crooked fashion, as though his plan was undeniable. Poochyena seemed to be thinking the same way because in return to the suggestion, the little Pokémon nodded his head and started sniffing the air, almost as though it were looking for something far away. “Okay, let’s go little dude! Find us a trainer!” The Poochyena barked happily for the first time and took off down the street forcing Kadaj to sprint just to keep up. His Pokémon did run fast, which was a plus, although it seemed to be a bit reckless as well. It was almost hit by a car once or twice as Kadaj could only flinch since he was too far behind to actual force his Pokémon to stop.
There was also his Poke-Ball, he could simply return his Pokémon if it was getting too reckless, but Kadaj was slightly reluctant to do that because he was trying relatively harder than normal just to build a bond with his Pokémon. He was kind of afraid of ruining that with his decision to withdraw it, so instead, he let Poochyena run and run while Kadaj followed as quickly as he could.

Eventually, his Poochyena came to a screeching halt in front of a rather muscular individual. “Finally!” Kadaj was panting by the time he caught up to his Poochyena, who only seemed more excited than ever. “Hey-“ Kadaj got one good look of the man standing before him and realized how ‘attractive’ he was. “H-Hey dude. We’re wondering if you wanted to have a Pokémon battle? You see, I just got this little dude,” Kadaj pointed to his Poochyena, “And he wants to have a battle. Would you be interested in fighting with us?” Kadaj smiled nervously, unsure how to approach this man about a battle right now. He knew that the man probably had a reason for walking around the town with a backpack, and that reason was because he was a trainer. Or at least, that’s what Kadaj hoped for.

Chad decided that it would be best to let his Nincada out of its Pokeball for the time being since it didn’t seem fair to keep it cooped up in there while Chad got to enjoy the fresh air. Besides, Chad did kind of need an outlet for himself now that his father was dead. If he had no one else in this world, then he could always have a Pokémon. “I choose you, Nincada!” Chad tossed his Pokeball and out popped his Nincada once more.
It looked around at the pavement and houses that lined the street, making it clear that it was somewhat nervous that Chad had brought into a foreign world. It wasn’t exactly the forest he was used to, but Nincada had to learn to deal with this. By doing so, it scuttled over to Chad and climbed up his pants leg, followed by his shirt and rested itself of Chad’s shoulder which caused Chad to giggle a little because that was the last thing he was expecting. “Well, this is something you’ll have to get used to Nincada, it’s called a city. I know, it’s big and all, but there are a lot of things to do here.” Chad thought about it for a moment, and decided that trying to explain what a bug could do in a city wouldn’t exactly sound fun. Luckily though Chad wouldn’t be put on the spot because no sooner than he started explaining did a Poochyena run up to him followed by a man with his hair spiked in the front. “Hello.” Chad allowed his voice to drift, half-expecting the man to start speaking first since he was the one who approached Chad.
The surprising thing is what the man said, rather than what he didn’t say. He wanted to have a Pokémon battle with Chad and his Nincada? The very idea made Chad a little unsure, but at the same time, it would be a perfect way to check the compatibility with his own Pokémon. “Alright, why not? Nincada, would you like to battle this man?” Chad turned to Nincada who in return nodded happily before jumping off of Chad’s shoulder and landing on the ground below. They’d be fighting a Poochyena who seemed to be a new Pokémon according to this man. If that was the case, then there would be a new-trainer fight between them, and who knows, maybe this man would be willing to become a rival of Chad’s as a way of keeping Chad going for days to come. Of course, he didn’t want to get too eager right about now, he needed to stay focused for the fight because Nincada was relying on him to deliver instructions. “My name is Chad.” Chad smiled to the man with piercing green eyes and extended his hand in a means of friendship. Chad wasn’t the type of person to cast aside mannerisms, even if this guy was so rude in the way he asked for a Pokémon battle in the first place.

Kadaj was quiet for a moment, allowing himself to catch his own breath since his Poochyena has so easily worn him out. Part of Kadaj believed that Poochyena was using his ability run away to get away from Kadaj since he’d ran so fast and so far just to find another trainer. Just thinking about it made Kadaj grit his teeth. Already he had a Pokémon that probably didn’t like him. That alone could dispirit a lot of people. The only way to prove that he was a worthy trainer was to take on this fellow trainer with a Nincada and defeat it with a Poochyena, but already they were at a disadvantage since Nincada happened to be a bug-type Pokémon and those usually triumphed over the dark-type Pokémon that Poochyena happened to be. “Oh boy, okay let’s do this.” Kadaj sighed and looked at the hand of Chad before shaking his head in rejection of the hand-shake. “I wouldn’t shake your hand buddy, I’m too hot for that kind of camaraderie.” Of course, Kadaj was joking, but he didn’t like touching people he didn’t know. It was sort of a germ phobic kind of thing, but at the same time, he felt like his touch should be saved for the one he loves. The only exception was naturally his Pokémon since they sort of need a touch to know that they were cared for, or at least that’s what Kadaj believed to be true since he had nothing else to go on. Everything he learned about Pokémon he learned from his orphan family, but they didn’t know all too much either because the orphanage he went to tried to block out the world of Pokémon and just focus on what humans did for a living besides train and fight Pokémon. They were a bit ‘moral’ about their beliefs on Pokémon. His orphanage had always said that Pokémon trainers were the devil because they would use Pokémon as tools of war.
“So yeah, let’s get started on this battle. Are you ready Poochyena?” Poochyena barked happily once more and leapt in front of Kadaj awaiting his orders. Kadaj folded his arms and decided to go ahead and make the first move since no one ever won by sitting around and hoping things worked out for the best. “Use tackle!” Kadaj knew that tackle wasn’t the strongest attack ever created, but he also knew it was a lot better than something like splash. Another thing he knew was that a tackle attack from his Poochyena wasn’t very strong since it was raised in captivity. Hopefully, Kadaj hoped, he would be able to toughen up his Poochyena on their journey together.
Poochyena began to run towards Nincada, picking up speed as he did so. His eyes were full of anger and hate, most probably because that’s what got the little Poochyena through most of its battles to begin with. Once it was close enough, the Poochyena leapt into the air in an elegant display and took aim for the Nincada before crashing downwards, hoping that it would make contact.

Chad cringed as his hand-shake was rejected. The feeling wasn’t something he liked since being rejected was something he was a little too unfamiliar with. When he was in school, all the guys wanted him and all the teachers praised him. It was sort of funny how he passed up so many opportunities while he was in school, such as dating the cheer captain or denying the advanced placement classes. Yes, Chad was a man of many missed opportunities and it all seemed to come back to his father. Perhaps it was time for Chad to just move on, but something inside of him told him to hold on to these feelings and let them fester inside, perhaps it was just the guilt speaking for him since Chad blamed himself for the fact that his father had died a while ago. “No handshake, okay I got it…” Chad took several steps back, causing his Nincada to stand in front of him. He could see his Nincada shaking a little from the anticipation of a battle, but it wasn’t anything a little training couldn’t fix.
Nincada would just have to believe in itself if it wanted to get through its first battle since Chad was just as inexperienced his little Pokémon. “Stay cool Nincada, you can do this.” Chad exhaled a heavy breath that forced his whole chest up and down. It was almost as if he was telling himself he could do this because to be honest, he didn’t feel as calm and collected as the man standing in front of him did. “What’s your name?” Chad was addressing the man standing before him so eager to battle with a Poochyena. If he didn’t know any better, Chad would’ve thought this guy was a veteran trainer because of how comfortable he seemed battling with Chad.
If push came to shove though, Chad would jump in the middle of the fight for the sake of his Nincada. After all, besides this battle and his Pokémon, there was nothing worth living for, as dramatic as it sounded.
Chad shook his head and refused to let himself get down in the dumps right now. He needed to focus on his battle, regardless of how he felt for life or anything else. He just hoped that once he was out of this town, where his father died, he would be feeling better and up for anything else. Of course, not much else compared to family.
His thinking was cut short by the immediate attack from the Poochyena. This was it, this was the time to fight! “Nincada, use harden!” Nincada used harden and since it naturally had higher defense, the attack did next to nothing on. “Quick, now use your scratch attack!” Nincada nodded and scurried across the pavement as quickly as it could. Once it was in front of the Poochyena, it brought its claw down in the hopes of scratching the Poochyena directly down the side of its stomach. If that was to work, then maybe Chad would be able to get through this and make it to the end.

Kadaj shrugged as Chad asked him for his name. He may have denied the handshake, but that wasn’t really a legit reason for denying this Chad fellow his name. “You can call me whatever you want.” Kadaj winked at Chad in a playful manner, although in a way he was serious. Chad was cute, no doubt about it, but Kadaj wasn’t comfortable enough with himself being gay to openly admit how attractive Chad really was, so instead, Kadaj decided to correct himself in a hasty manner, almost as though he had immediately regretted the joke he had just told and wanted to take it back. “You can call me Kadaj; that’s my real name anyways. It’s good to meet you Chad, you’re almost as good-looking as me!” Kadaj laughed hysterically at his own joke but soon realized that the battle was underway. Any small talk would have to wait until the battle was over since that consumed most of the attention of anyone participating.
“Don’t mean to alarm you, but I think I know what I’m doing.” Kadaj grinned and watched as his Poochyena made direct contact with the Nincada, but something happened, or rather didn’t happen that Kadaj wasn’t expecting. The Nincada looked as though it had hardly taken any damage whatsoever. Perhaps it was a tank-based Pokémon? Well for a baby anyways. It sure knew how to handle the onslaught of attacks that Poochyena could possible give out. Immediately after seeing the results of his first attack, Kadaj knew that the odds were no in his favor. ‘s**t, now what am I gonna’ do? My little dude isn’t going to be able to keep this up.’
Kadaj saw that the Nincada was coming after his Pokémon with a scratch attack, which was slightly expected since most baby Pokémon didn’t really know anything about battling. In a quick decision, Kadaj decided to tell his Pokémon a second command, “Dodge it little dude, and then come in with another tackle attack!” Kadaj pointed to the Nincada and Poochyena nodded with an eagerness to get started.
Immediately the Poochyena jumped out of the way of Nincada’s claw just before it connected and it ran a circle around the Nincada before preparing another tackle attack. It was now directly behind the Nincada and charging at full speed.
Kadaj didn’t know much about Pokémon, but what he did know through common observation was that a Pokémon that could run on all fours was usually faster than something like a bug. By knowing this, Kadaj assumed that even though he wouldn’t have a defense advantage, he would have a speed advantage over this bug he was fighting.
“You’re doing good dude! Keep it up!” Kadaj jumped up and down excitedly, revealing his immaturity over the situation at hand. It was kind of odd to cheer on a baby Pokémon fighting another baby Pokémon since the battle couldn’t possibly get that intense, but Kadaj didn’t care. All he cared about was being on top and through this battle, he might very well prove he is a worthy trainer.

Chad watched as his Pokémon’s attack missed. There was honestly no surprise there, but Chad was hoping for something else. There was scenario he had heard of growing up called the Golem and Buneary. The bunny was fast and moved much to quickly for the golem to catch, so what he did was he waited until the bunny tired itself out, and then the golem squished it like a pancake. Although this wasn’t exactly the same thing, Chad hoped that Nincada could rough out the torture until it had an opening in which to strike the Poochyena with a scratch attack.
It was a bit of a stretch to say the least, but Chad saw it as a possibility, and a sound one at that. Cautiously, Chad pointed to the Poochyena and decided to yell aloud so that his Nincada could hear him. “He’s going to use tackle! Use another harden!” The good thing about Harden was it was an attack that Nincada could use on itself to protect itself from damage. The Nincada didn’t have to catch anyone to perform the technique, unless of course you want to consider itself the Pokémon it had to catch, but then that wouldn’t make any sense.

While it hardened and readied itself for the blow, Chad decided to refocus on what Kadaj had said about calling him whatever he wanted. Was that some kind of pick up line or something? Chad had heard it a couple times while in school because his friend had said it to a cheerleader he had a crush on, but he never actually considered it to be something that could’ve been taken seriously. It didn’t matter though, Kadaj was probably only kidding. At least he ended up telling Chad his real name and didn’t tease him like his friend did to the cheerleader in school. Perhaps that’s what symbolized the difference between flirting and just making a joke was the teasing involved.
Chad heard a smack come from the battlefield and saw that Nincada had endured yet another blow from the hard-headed Poochyena. “Okay, now go in for another scratch attack Nincada!” Nincada popped out of its hardened state and crawled towards Poochyena with a claw ready to slash.
Chad watched and turned his gaze to Kadaj who was jumping up and down, making a big fool out of himself. “Sounds like you’re really excited for this battle. I have to agree, I’m a bit happy myself, this is my first time battle with Nincada as a team.” Chad smiled warmly and decided to keep focused on the battle once more. He wasn’t sure if Kadaj was jumping up and down to distract Chad or he was just really happy to have done something useful in a battle, that is if he actually wanted to consider tackling a solid Pokémon as something useful. “Alright, you can do it Nincada!” Nincada was closing in on Poochyena and all Chad could do from cheering like Kadaj was watch Kadaj do all the cheering. To be honest, Kadaj was a rather distracting individual in Chad’s eyes.

Quietly, Kadaj went over what was going on in his head. There was a reason that Chad wasn’t dodging the attacks, maybe it was because his Pokémon was just too slow to continuously dodge everything thrown at it. If that was the case, then maybe Kadaj was on the right track to becoming a winner in his very first battle, although to be honest, the only reason he really wanted to win was to prove to his Pokémon Poochyena that he was worthy enough to be a trainer.
His cheering died down though as the attack concluded and Poochyena was left vulnerable to another attack from Nincada. Poochyena’s main source of defense was its speed to dodge attacks, but even that didn’t last forever. ‘Maybe he plans on tiring out Poochyena!’ Kadaj gritted his teeth, just now realizing that Poochyena was actually panting from all the running it had been doing today. It started it non-stop running when they were trying to find someone to fight. That took them a long time to get to where they were now. Then, Poochyena had rammed into Nincada’s hard as rock body a couple times trying to make it budge. ‘What can I do to win this thing!?’
Kadaj pointed to the left of Poochyena and decided to shout out a command so that Poochyena would know what to do. “Quick, dodge the attack!” Poochyena nodded and attempted to jump to the left to side-step the attack but with its exhausted demeanor, it felt the sting of a scratch attack on its back leg.
Poochyena fell over in a heap but quickly struggled back to its paws before the Nincada could launch another attack on it. All Kadaj could do was watch in horror as his Pokémon was scratched and fell down before getting back up. He knew that he would need to come up with a plan and fast before his Pokémon fainted, and by the looks of things, a knock-out might come sooner than expected. “Ah! Quick, use a tackle attack before the Nincada has time to respond or something little dude!” Kadaj could feel the pressure now. He realized what Chad’s plan was, and it was to just wear out Poochyena before unleashing a flurry of scratches that would knock out Poochyena. If Poochyena was exhausted, it wouldn’t even be able to put up a proper defense, much less actually dodge the attacks. With that known, Kadaj could only hope that he’d get off a really good tackle this time, but the odds of that happening were slim to none since Nincada had already used its protect technique twice now and had some defense stacked up for it.
The Poochyena ran as fast as it could towards Nincada with a speed slightly slower than it had been earlier because of the scratch attack used against it. Once it was closer to Nincada, Poochyena threw its body at the Nincada was a side-tackle attack in mind. If things went as planned, then Nincada would go down, but of course, that wasn’t likely at all.

Tobren walked a little ways behind his sister as they went out into the nearby Willowcove Village. One couldn't tell from looking at his bright teal eyes, but the young man was furious! Here they were in a completely new enivorment all because some guy thought with the wrong head! Oh Tobren was the one who presented the idea to his sister only to see her true smile once again, but so far he's only seen the default one. He patted Necros on the head as the Shuppet rode piggy-back, he mentally shook those evil thoughts away he picked up a familiar sound...

"A Pokemon Battle?!? All right!" The childish male rushed ahead heedless of his sister's cries.

Myridia sighed and exchanged a look with her new partner, both she and Tobren had decided to let their Pokemon walk alongside them. She chuckled at seeing poor Necros hang on tight, "Well, Razz shall we go see what has my little brother so excited?"

The Scyther nodded and stayed close to his new Partner as the two followed gracefully after the younger sibling.

Tobren jogged up till he was a safe distance away to watch the Nincada and Poocheyna duke it out, "Two hot guys and two awesome Pokemon...man life is good right now..."

Myridia walked up next to him, "Ah, I see..."

Rebecca Lynn

Becca wandered outside the lab. She was frustrated with her partner, she wanted a pretty pokemon. Something for contests, that’d stand out and be the center of attention. Instead she got a bug.. She sighed and released it from the poke ball. A flash of light and sewaddle appeared before her.
Rebecca scowled, “ I guess, you’ll do…” She turned to see two people and pokemon running towards something in the distance. “Where are they going…” She followed them. “Common Chic!” She called to swaddle as she crawled up Becca’s arm. They arrived on the scene of two men battling and what looked like twins to her watching.

Chad grinned smugly, but suppressed his urges to scold Kadaj for being so arrogant earlier. He knew that this was Kadaj’s first battle, just like it was his first as well. The only difference was that Chad was much more vigilant in the way that he battled since messing up could mean the loss of a battle. He only hoped this would teach Kadaj a lesson in how to train his Pokémon, although to be honest, Chad wasn’t entirely sure what Kadaj was getting from this other than that he was losing, or at least that’s what Chad read from the facial expressions Kadaj had.
When his Nincada landed his cut, Chad let out a sigh and felt the weight of his burden being lifted off of him. Finally something went right! Now all Chad had to do was maintain the momentum he had going for himself. “Use harden!” Nincada, almost as if routine, performed its harden technique and protected itself from another tackle attack which kept hurting less and less every time. The Poochyena hit Nincada head on, but the fact that Nincada had used harden three times now made his hide a bit thicker than the way Poochyena was trying to push it. At this rate, Poochyena would tire itself out before Nincada began to feel the sting of a long battle, or at least that’s what Chad hoped for right about now.
As Chad was about to give his next command, he caught glimpse of other people watching the battle going on. It sort of made him nervous because he never really liked the idea of being watched, but that was something he’d have to learn to deal with. There was a girl and a boy, probably about the same age watching them. They didn’t look too much alike, but something told Chad that they had a connection of brother to sister. Maybe they actually were related? He didn’t really know for sure. ‘I just need to keep it together and hopefully I’ll win this thing and everything will be alright.’ Chad scratched the back of his head in a nervous fashion and then laughed nervously before giving another command to his Pokémon Nincada. “Use scratch now!”
Nincada launched itself at Poochyena, who Chad could tell was getting a bit more exhausted than it should be at this point. He wasn’t a betting man, but if Chad had to assume why the Poochyena was already so tired, he would say it was because of how much it ran just to find Chad and Nincada together.
Chad caught another girl show up from the corner of his eyes just as he delivered his command to Nincada. She seemed rather interesting because of the bug Pokémon she had with her. Normally Chad wouldn’t think twice about a girl with a bug Pokémon, but the fact that she had one and he did as well ignited a desire inside of him to get to know her, but that would have to wait until after the battle.
Immediately he turned his attention to the Nincada who would now be attempting to scratch Poochyena.

Chrome Delcore
"Isn't life funny at how it never works out for you?"

Chrome walked out, absently flicking a wayward strand of blond over his shoulder. His dark gaze wandered over the quaint little Village of Willowcove.

"Small...serene...cute. What a horrid place to live in...where's the constant bustle of life? Nonexistent here...ugh. I must take care though, no PokeCenter means that Pup and I are at a disadvantage." He allowed his eyes to drift as he passed by a girl with a Swaddle on her arm, when his eyes landed on a Poocheyena however he smirked. "There's a Pokemon worth its little heart in gold..."

Hearing a Scyther the male's eyes traveled to the splendid Pokemon, nodding to himself he saw the Trainers next to it. A youth and a girl, pity the boy wasn't all that tall...neither was the girl for that matter. The two well-built men were fine on the eyes, but failed to catch his full attention.

"Well, Pup. Your my new Partner, why don't we go and buy supplies as well as a new bag?" He said to the glaring Houndour at his feet, as soon as he let out the small Pokemon Chrome had picked it up and cradled it. Saying he was never going to physically harm it, but if he saw one ounce of insolence again...the small Houndour would regret ever baring its fangs at him in the first place. The two passed by the green eyed girl with the Swaddle and the two Trainers by the Scyther...

As the battle raged on, the nerves were really starting to get to Kadaj which was slightly worrisome since he’d never been the type of guy who was worried about what other people thought in terms of how he acted, but now, with several other people standing around and watching, Kadaj felt like he had to win this, but at what point would he be able to flip the script and make Poochyena come out on top? There were too many odds stacked against him right now and the number one of them all was the fatigue and exhaustion that his little Pokémon was feeling.
After Poochyena tackled Nincada and did just about now damage, Kadaj felt the over-whelming desire to try and morally uplift his Pokémon, but at the same time, he didn’t want to seem like a loser to all the people watching. Instead, he whispered just loud enough so that only his Pokémon could hear him, “Come on little dude, you can do it man.” Kadaj bit his bottom lip and watched as the Poochyena struggled to keep itself from falling over with exhaustion. Kadaj could tell by the way his Poochyena refused to go down that it was a fight by nature and didn’t like to lose. Kadaj also noticed that Nincada’s personality was completely different from Poochyena. Nincada seemed to be more of a apprehensive and vigilant Pokémon. That would probably be the most ideal type of personality but then again, all Pokémon had different personalities and it was kind of up to Kadaj to work with what he got.
Kadaj looked over the people standing and watching. There were three of them and two of them seemed to look rather similar in their appearances so that probably meant that they were related. Hell, they even looked like they were born on the same day, but that was kind of debatable. The other girl standing there seemed to be a bit of a loner or at least didn’t have anyone she knew. Kadaj decided to greet everyone and act like he couldn’t care less how the battle played out. “Hey dudes, how’s it goin’ people?!” Kadaj waved to the three by-standers but quickly turned his attention back to the battle when he heard Chad mention another scratch attack. How many could Poochyena take before it was all over?
Kadaj decided to use the most generic plan ever because he didn’t have as many abilities as he would’ve liked at this point. All he had was tackle, but then again, that was because his Pokémon was only caught earlier that day. “Dodge it!” Kadaj grinded his teeth, a bad habit he’d had since he can remember, and waited in anticipation for what would happen.
The Poochyena tried to jump out of the way once more, only it was no use. Instead of getting a nick like it had before, Poochyena felt the full effects of the scratch attack causing it to roll over several times before laying there a moment. “Poochyena, come on little dude, get up!” Poochyena stood up slowly and was huffing by this time. “Tackle, come on man!” Poochyena nodded and charged once more at the Nincada.

Tobren had felt the dark aura pass behind them with a silent shudder the young man glanced back at the tanned youth that strode past them all. Upon hearing the greeting from the blond man he smiled brightly at both males, mentally cheering for both Pokemon the young man couldn't decide who he wanted to win.

"The Poocheyena's in trouble...it seems to have exaughsted itself beforehand. Honestly...the little one's too rash." Myridia observerd, Tobren glanced at her worriedly. Her pale blue eyes were soft with concern over the Dark type, but once they flicked to the Nincada were confident. She too had felt the dark aura, but didn't pay it any attention as Razz had moved closer to her in defense.

"Sis and I both want this to turn out fine, but in battles...that's not always the case..." he thought, remembering some of his earlier battles where he would accidentally really hurt a Pokemon without knowing it. His nack for battling had earned quite a few eneimies and never any true friends. "Maybe here I'll find friends who would be willing to put up with me..."

Myridia glanced to her brother smiling at Necros, she turned and walked away wanting to see who the newcomer was. When the siblings stood side-by-side it was difficult to tell who was the elder, but once Myridia moved away. Her very air carried her maturity and knowledge, while her brother seemed childish now and inncoent. She approched the other girl...

"Hello, my name's Myridia Burrows, that's a very cute Swaddle on your shoulder...does it have a name?" she introduced herself with a warm motherly smile.
