Part 1 Maer wondered if Destiny had been put off by her holding her hand or not. She supposed she should have asked first, but had been in a hurry at the time. "You don't mind that I held your hand do you?" she asked as they entered the girl's bathroom on the ground floor.
Reminded of what had happened in this bathroom before, Maergrethe took care to check the windows to make sure no one was spying on them. Then she turned back to Destiny and was surprised that she hadn't noticed earlier that they both sported the same hair style.
"Well what do you know, we have the same hairstyle!" She exclaimed in amusement. "Do you braid your hair at all?" She asked curiously. "I've always wanted to sport a french braid, but I have trouble doing my own hair."
"How about you wash your hands and I'll go get my kit. I'll be back in a jiffy."

Destiny shook her head "nope" she answered simply before drawing her attention to Maer, not really knowing what happened that would cause the girl to check the windows. Probably something happened and she had yet to get in the loop, she never paid attention to gossip and there is probably some gossip going around about her spending so much time with Maer's Brother Liam. She shook her head.
"I never noticed that before, until you brought it up" she admitted, but then nodded her head "yes..I do braid my hair, when I have time that is..my mother taught me how to do it with some assitance from my sister" she put in. She remembers she had siblings around Maer..but why did she completely forget about them when she was around liam, she shook her head at herself. Before setting down her bag and walking over to the sink to wash her hands.

Maer noticed that Destiny was staring at her in a quizzical manner, probably wondering why she was checking the windows. "I caught a stinking slytherin peeping in these windows awhile back. Now I always check to make sure no one is watching." She explained.
"Well I think it's rather interesting. That's rather awesome. I wish I had a sister," She sighed longingly and twisted a bit of her hair between two fingers. "It gets rather annoying to have so many brothers. I guess I shall just have to claim you as an honorary sister." she said with a wink at the other girl.
She was speeding out the door before the other girl started to wash her hands. It took her longer than she would have liked to get to her common room. Why did the Ravenclaw room have to be so high up? And with all the darn stairs! This was when she wished she had a broom and could have used it in the castle. She would have gotten there much faster!
It was about twenty minutes later when she finally stumbled back into the girl's bathroom, a large purple glittery bag held in her arms. "Whew, that took longer than I thought. I hope you haven't been waiting too long."

Destiny blinked as Maer ran back she tilted her head "I wasn't getting impatient, I love sitting around and waiting. She walked over and straightened out her head from her runnning "I think your hair would look good in a braid" she put in
She hook her head "no I wasn't waiting too long for you" she put in "so what are we starting with first, hands or feet" she asked her but then again..if she was Maer's honorary sister she wouldn't be able to spend time with Liam..did that make any sense.

Maergrethe’s eyebrows knitted together. She couldn’t tell if Destiny was being sarcastic or was actually telling the truth. She figured it was the later, as from what she had heard about Destiny was that the Hufflepuff was kind spirited and really quiet spoken.
“Oh well that’s good. With Liam you may end up having to wait sometimes, there are days when he will get completely engrossed in watching his birds and forget all about anything else. I imagine though you wouldn’t be the type to complain. You’d probably just go out and look for him.” She said as she pulled out the nail kit from her bag and two different colors of nail polish. One was a dark purple and the other was a very light sparkly lilac color.
“If I recall correctly you like lilac, no?” Maergrethe asked as she shook the bottles, one in each hand. “Oh you think so? Maybe you can show me a few braids sometime soon. It might be easier to manage in the morning than to have to brush it three times a day. The winds tend to tangle it really badly out here.”
“Hmm..Perhaps feet first? Let me have a look at them.” Maer ordered, taking a seat on a bench near one of the windows.

Destiny nodded her head before taking off her shoes and socks, she was a little hesitant,cause she barely had anyone doing make overs let alone, manicures and pedicures. She tilted her head "perhaps..I will one day when we have some free time" she said with a smile. She glanced at Maer "Liam..isn't hard to find, just figure out where bird watchers are likely to be and he will be there" she put in nodding her head

Maergrethe leaned in a little closer to take a look at Destiny's feet. "Hmm..looks like you should soak them first. Then we can get off all that dead skin." She said.
Maer pulled Destiny over to the huge bathtub in the middle of the room and ran some warm water in it, adding a bit of bath soap to it. "Now just sit on the edge and let your feet soak for a bit." She ordered as she began to take off her own shoes and socks. "I'll join you. It's been awhile since I've taken care of my feet." She admitted.
Her feet now exposed showed that there was slivers of nail polish left on the toenails. She took a seat on the edge of the bathtub and shoved them into the warm bubbly water. "Ahh, now that feels good."
"Yeah, Liam usually isn't hard to find, unless he goes off on one of his long hikes. Then it could take hours to find him. He tends to not really plan ahead or tell anyone where to find him, which can be really annoying."

Destiny got into the tub and sat on the edge, soaking her own feet and keeping herself balanced by holding onto the edge of the bath tub. She pondered for a bit before she looked at Maer "Is the gossip around school about me and him really bad?" she asked out of curiousity. She had a feeling that the other students were either really mean or they took pleasure out of gossiping about how much time she spent with him. She had the mental idea that she wasn't hanging out with him too much, but she then started to feel like she was.
She was still a little uneasy about the gossip going around the school and amongst the other houses that she wasn't sure what to think of it all. She was pretty sure Liam wasn't a fan of all the gossip. She frowned a bit "well..if that seems to be the case, he would come back on his own, unless he didn't then I would be worried" she admitted and frowned again it seemed like she was spending a little too much time with him but they were in the same house and had a couple of classes together so wouldn't it be naturally for them? she wasn't all too sure now
