Personality: Seeming very reserved, it's sometimes hard to tell whether he's actually listening to you or if everything's going in one ear or the other. He does his best to live by the mottos "Wise men hear out all their options before making their decision" and "some things just aren't worth fighting over." More of a strategist at heart, about the only things that can make him visibly not seem cold and unfeeling are the sight of his family or meatloaf.
History: Brach was once a brash, gung-ho trainer who often trained alongside whatever fighting type pokemon he could get his hands on. Years of battling have left him knowledgable, but not for so long as to take a toll on his health. He settled down with Nyoko and raised a few children before she was called away, taking Madison with her. Brach was left in charge of Keeta who raised her as fairly as he could, but could tell she needed a chance to become stronger without him.
Other: Brach switched careers to a breeder some time after settling down and before having kids, so this is the side of him they have always seen. His passion for fighting types was always known, but he secretly wishes to rock the pokemon world with a powerful genetic experiment... whether he pursues a new evolution of pokemon, or self-mutation with pokemon DNA is a mystery even to himself. Ryuu has a very Quite nature he tends not to talk much unless he has to and he tends to get the feeling his is not wanted anywhere because of the blindfolded bandage he keeps over his eyes because he knows that he feels like a freak to other people.
History:
Ryuu is the oldest of two kids that grew up in the Survival Area in the Sinnoh Region where it was battles everyday with either pokemon or really tough trainers or even his own brother sometimes. Ryuu got into a horrible scrap with his younger brother that caused him to have a horrid X on his back from one of his brother's pokemon using X-Scissors on him without him looking. A few years had passed since the incident with the pokemon had happened so Ryuu and his brother where fighting again like usual nothing new except something had changed within his little brother something terrible. On that day he had rushed after his brother with what one would call a knife and popped his eye out with it disgusted with the way Ryuu looked he had taken the other Eye out as well for no real reason whatsoever, Ryuu had never done anything to his brother but protect him from the horrible trainers that would come to the survival area and Ryuu sometimes thinks to himself "Maybe that is why he did this to me..." ever since the incident Ryuu had worn a Red Bandage over his eye sockets so no one would have to see him eyeless. Now Sightless Ryuu had to depend on the sound of pokemon to do anything with them and then he had to work with his other senses that seemed to be in shock from what had happened for the longest time but as time carried on so did his training he was finally able to fight with Fighting Type pokemon and hear all sorts of different pokemon that he could recognize so he wouldn't struggle anymore with his new life he had.

~Ryuu wears loose fitting clothing for when he wants to spar with any Fighting Type pokemon
~Ryuu has Bandage Wraps for when he wants to fight with his bare fists then he has a set of Chains that wrap perfectly around his arms and bandages that give him extra length, they have a small ball at the end of them that have thick hooks for when he wants to train himself with a tree of other huge inanimate objects, and he also has a Belt chain fashioned the same exact way as his Chain Cuffs and he uses all of these as a sense of punishment for being to protected of his brother

Personality: Atrus is an outwardly friendly person. He thinks nothing of going up to complete strangers and introducing himself. He is not the kind that holds petty grudges, but any who earn his ire are more often than not very well deserving of it. Usually his anger is towards those who poach Pokemon, beat and abuse them, abandon Pokemon and those who steal from other trainers. Atrus is always up for fun and will try most everything once. Unlike so many other trainers, the boy knows not to take anything for granted. He feels as though he is living on borrowed time and thus it makes no sense to not live life to the fullest. As such, he likes to see all of the sights of each town he comes to, take time while on the road to enjoy the scenery, and spend time just enjoying the things that so many people take for granted each and every day.
He keeps his disease secret, and it is both the source of his drive to succeed and his greatest fear. Even though he has only four years left according to the doctors from the day he set out on his journey, he has no idea when the deadly virus will take hold or if he might one day discover a cure. He will only share his secret with those he trusts or if the situation warrents it. Atrus has a strong love of Pokemon. Even since before he started to show signs and symptoms of the disease, he would often play with his father's Pokemon and help take care of the Pokemon his mother left behind. He enjoys grooming them, feeding them and playing with them. He shares a special bond with Lilly, his first pokemon. In battles, he keeps his friendly and optimistic nature visible and tries to plan out his moves in advance. He keeps his mind sharp and ready to swap to a new tactic if things start to turn sour. If he feels that his Pokemon is suffering too much or is vastly out-matched, he has no qualms about throwing in the towel in order to keep his Pokemon from suffering. The only time he would push his Pokemon to and beyond their limits would be in order to protect other Pokemon from poachers, abusers and other criminals.
History: Atrus was born in Petalburg City in the Hoenn region. His family was well respected as his mother worked in human medicine as a nurse while his father worked as a Pokemon Breeder. However, few years into his life his mother died of a mysterious new disease. His mother began showing signs a year before she died, and when blood tests were run, the doctors found that the virus was attacking her own immune system. The boy and his father were both tested and both came out clean, at least for the moment. His father raised Atrus on his own. Several years later, the boy found a hobby in playing the guitar, a gift he got from his father for his seventh birthday. He showed amazing skill in playing the instrument, learning his way around the strings quickly. By the age of nine, he wrote his first song, 'Will I?'. While he wasn't famous, he certainly did have the potential to rise as a star. His future seemed rather bright.
However, on his fourteenth birthday, he began to start showing signs of the same illness that claimed his mother. Dificulty breathing, pale skin and an increased susceptability to other sicknesses. The doctors treated him with what they had learned so far of the virus that they now called the Agarest virus. While the medicine was no cure, it would slow the disease's progress and treat the symptoms. After much deliberation, the doctors gave Atrus a time frame of five years left to live. This news came as a devistating blow to his father. But for Atrus, it drove him to make his decision on his future and what he was going to do with the little amount of time he had left. Despite his father's protest, Atrus was going to go on his Pokemon journey and see everything that the world could offer, taking with him a Ralts that was born a year before to his mother's Gardevoir and his father's Gallade. His goal is to win the title of Pokemon Champion or at least get as far as he can before the virus takes hold and claims him, wanting to leave a lasting mark of his existence, the proof that he lived. That way, when the virus finally takes hold of his life, he would leave behind something meaningful and beautiful that would last forever.
Other: The only means by which he can be cured is through Legendary intervention (Mew, Mewtwo, Celebi, Jirachi, Shaymin, Arceus, Reshiram or Zekrom), or a rare plant.
