Nicknames: Doesn't really have one, and doesn't care what you call him (which Jake abuses to full potential).

Personalities: Jake is a bit of a hot-head, and tends to get into fights... a lot. Or more, he just likes stirring up trouble to cause fights. He's really stubborn and ignorant, and prefers doing things his own way, albeit how wrong it may be. Despite this, he understands his limitations (most of the time), and will learn to restrain from making TOO much of a mess (and if not, Chester will usually give him hell about it). A redeeming trait he DOES have though is that should he find passion for something, he will dedicate all his time and energy into it. This... usually involves fighting of some sort, but if convinced, you can trust him to get the job done.
Chester, on the other hand, is more mellow and laid-back. He acts as somewhat of a "big brother" to Jake, often telling him what and what not to do. This often gets on Jake's nerves (despite it having saved his life several times), and he'll often lash out at him. Rarely anything gets on Chester's nerves, though if something does, it'll be quite apparent (a reaction Jake seems to always be trying to induce).
It's usually rare to see them get along (though this is often Jake's fault), but when they do, they're often an unstoppable duo.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Jake grew up in a pretty messed-up neighborhood. Every day, gang wars and violence broke out, with him being a central part in it.
He'd often leave each fight with bruises and scrapes, and for some, were serious enough for him to earn the those three permanent scars on his body. He's also had a near-death experience one time, where he barely pulled through.
It was through these that he began to sense... something. That there was something behind the cause of all this. Fear. Yet he wasn't too familiar with it at the time, and just went on ignoring it.
It wasn't until he was 18 that he was fully aware of it, and it was at this point he decided he wanted to become a hunter, to become strong enough to fight back against this. To never have to struggle in a fight again. To harness the power he so desperately wanted. To win.
Weapon Ability
World of Darkness (Headlights) - When Jake gets close enough to his opponent, Chester may sometimes have the ability to induce an illusion of several tentacles gagging and choking the opponent.

Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Dark purple like amethysts
Hair Colour/Style: Teal. Messy spiked hair (like bedhair, I guess)
Skin Colour: Tan/Middle-Eastern
Clothing Style/Colours: Refer to refs~
Extra: This character is originally from another shop (that I've obtained permission from the artist to quest here), so the clothing will differ slightly from the guidelines of a hunter.
Tweaks can be made, such as his "hoodie" can be made into the traditional long white flowing robe, and colours lightened a bit so that it doesn't clash with white (such as the boots). This is a pretty good representation of the coat I'd like for him, and colour-wise, but colours can be tweaked a bit so they don't look EXACTLY the same (though I'd like to keep Teals/grays incorporated into his design if possible)
Runic markings can be added to the weapon, since they're also missing from these refs. As for colour of the markings, maybe neon green since it's a nergal weapon?
Some smaller details~
He ALWAYS has the cross around his neck (some backstory to be determined), and the "hoodie" doesn't have a cross (so don't follow the side ref to a "T").
The "shirt" underneath the hoodie is... kinda peculiar.
The collar is low-cut and the bottom is short, exposing his stomach.
The left arm has a sleeve that only reaches up to the inside of the elbow, and has a black "X" on it.
There's no sleeve for the right side.
On his left hand, he wears a teal fingerless glove (or could be a glove, up to artist), and on his right hand, he has a teal wrist sweatband, with either up to one or two "X"s across it, depending on artist's prefs).
The "sash" around his waist only has two tassels (so not 4 like the side ref)
Also, not very visible on the refs other than the face scar, but he has 3 scars. One over his left eye, and one on each arm.
He also has a tattoo on his right arm (just the upper part. Nothing below the elbow), but this may not have to be added depending on the pose.
