Glory Specification: Survival Skills Skills necessary for living in the harsh environment of the Icefury Mountains are the skills Lord Baldur and Lady Antibellum are looking for. So if you think you have the fortitude to survive the ice and cold, please let them know.
Current skills in the Glory:: A variety of lore: Water, Wyldewood, Herbal, Weather, and Mountain. Farsight, Hunter, Tracker, Fire, Ice Walker, Ice Control, and Night Vision are some of the others. Feel free to choose a survival skill that may not be listed.
Positions in the Glory:: The majority of the Glory are assigned to patrolling the heights of the Icefury Mountains in teams of two. Teams consist of one winged and one non-winged uni. So having a strong constitution, and hardiness in extreme conditions is a positive attribute. Other positions currently being held include: Teacher, Healer, Welcomer, Sentinel, Cave Explorer, Nursemaid, Information Gatherer, Liaison, Tracker, Song Master, and Food Gatherer. If you have another position that is currently not being utilized in the Glory, please let Baldur know when you ask to join.
Glory Perk: At least one offspring from every breeding will result in a winged unicorn.
Glory's Purpose: To guard the land against an invasion from those who live beyond the Icefury.

Romana bowed as Lord Baldur greeted her. She had traveled for days to reach the base of the Icefury, and had searched another day before finally finding the Glory. She raised her head as he greeted her and asked his questions. In reply she answered, "My Lord, I once lived in a land, which was covered by snow and ice most of the year, so yes I believe I an hardy enough to withstand the rigorous life here in the Icefury. As for patrolling, that is not my strongest asset. I am an organizer, a leader if you will. Give me a group of unicorns, tell me what you need us to do, and I can see that it gets done in the most efficient manner, and in the least amount of time.

Glacial had only been in this new land for a day now, having been brought here by the girl called Gloria, from the frozen waste she had called home all of her life. With the girls help, she learned of a group of unicorns living in the snow-capped mountains to the south, and she had traveled now for two days in order to reach it. She was unaccustomed to the warm air of the meadow she had arrived in, and even the cooler air of the forest she had traveled through, was not cold enough to keep the ice-blue mare from sweating. She needed snow and ice, not sun and warm air. When she located the Glory, near the base of the mountains, she felt relief flow through her body. But would the leader of these unicorns see any value in her? She could only hope that her years of living in the frozen lands of her birth would be an asset the leader would see. She had stood tall as he greeted her, and when he was done she spoke.
"These mountains are the closest thing in this new world to what my home was like in the old world Lord Baldur. If you do not accept me into your Glory, I shall simply have to make a home for myself here alone. For I cannot life down in the meadow, or the forest. It is simply too warm there for me. My parents used to tell me that like my name, I had ice flowing through my veins instead of blood." She laughed at this memory. One of the few she still had of her old life. "And I would be most comfortable if I was up on the heights, amid the snow and ice. I would be honored to be among your patrol members my Lord." She waited to see what his answer would be.

Romana thanked her new Glory leader and exited the cave. She went in search of someone to help her find a place she could spend the night, and get something to eat.

As soon as Baldur laid eyes on the mare, walking up the slope to his cave, he knew immediately that she was meant for his Glory. Standing there near her, he could almost feel the coldness spreading out from her body. Of course he knew it was only his imagination, but it was still thrilling to experience.
"My dear lady, I could tell from the moment you arrived that my Glory was where you needed to make your new home. I am sure you will be a valuable member of our patrol group, and if you follow me, I will introduce you to Lord Mwee, who is in charge of patrols. He will be most glad to meet you I think, as we are so short handed at the moment." He led her out of the cave and in search of his Second.

Glacial was so happy to hear Lord Baldur say she was welcomed into the Glory that she almost danced. She followed him out of the cave, excited to meet this Lord Mwee he spoke of.

I would like Glacial's to be the Ice Walker. I think that one is very cool.
And for Romana, hmmmm. She's a tougher one to choose for. What about Food Gatherer? You don't have that assigned as anyone's skill yet, and the Glory does need to eat.

Kahiapo is going to follow in his grandmother's hoof prints, and study herbal lore as his survival skill.
Bloodmoon is going to have food gathering as her skill, since she likes to be alone.
Borusa is of course going to be one of your aerial defenders.

All of those are accepted, and I will update the list shortly. However, Borusa and Aradorn need to have a survival skill, and once your flower has grown, you can update what you would like him to have as a life skill and position.
