The Gaijin Gesuidou had fallen-that was all Pixie knew. She had gotten out of that area before she could get hurt. She didn't know what had happened but something big and bad went down. She didn't know who else was alive or still free. She tugged on her ribbon that she still adorned around her neck. She wanted to be free of it but she wasn't really sure if she really wanted it off at the same time. It had been ages since she had gotten it put on her before her owner vanished on her. She still felt that bitter seed of hatred towards humans. She had thought that the months of being away from humans would help her get over her hatred but it only made it worse.
Not really sure where to go, she wandered around the streets alone, not really talking to any other felines. She stopped at a street corner and leaned against a trash can. Her paws hurt slightly. She had walked too much that day and the sun was slowly setting in the distance. Sighing, she stared up at the sky as it slowly turned a dark blue-indigo color. She wanted to seek out her own kind but she was afraid that being alone for so long she wouldn't know how to interact with others. If only someone who was in her situation could help her understand her kind again.

Ein sniffed the air, following his nose looking for scraps, or something he could steal. He was actually hoping he could find one of those fancy restaurants that threw out the half the fish their customers didn't eat. No, it wasn't that he hadn't eaten, his parents had made sure he ate. it was that he was hungry again, and fish tasted nice. Or steak for that matter, any scraps from fancy restaurants tended to taste good.
He didn't notice the sun setting, really, as he wandered the smaller back streets people didn't frequent. in fact, he was more enjoying the air than anything. City air held so many scents. Getting tired of looking he flopped down behind a trash can on a street corner, finally noticing the sky's change. Relaxed for all the world he rolled about until he lay in just the right spot he stared up at the sky to watch the stars come out, at least, those stars you could see in the city. there would be the moon at least.
He came back to himself at the slight clatter of the trash can lid next to him, as someone leaned against it's top. He looked up at the other cat lazily. "hey, what are you up to?" he asked.

Pixie jumped slightly as she heard a voice from nearby. She quickly looked around and saw another feline near her, leaning against another trashcan. She gave him a quick stern look before it faded into a quick smile. "Hello," she said to Ein in a slightly soft tone of voice. "Just staring at the sunset. You?" She crossed her arms across her chest and studied the other cat carefully. She could tell the other cat was male...and slightly attractive, too. Her grin widened. Hopefully her skills of trying to seduce males hadn't dulled since her departure from her old territory.

Ein returned her smile, and hope he hadn't startled her too badly. "Same." he replied shortly, "Watching the sun set and stars and all that." He wasn't the most eloquent. He curled his tail around himself and watched her in return, and shook his head a little to resettle the string dangles from his own collar. A female, she was a female. her collar a ribbon. It looked like it may be too tight, or something.
