╫Character Description╫
Personality: First impressions are known to be important and a good judge of character for most people but not Isamu. Some utter that he's "childish, immature, and undisciplined." Those comments were generally from women who didn't get the satisfaction from hearing the 10 letter word, 'commitment' escape his lips and those jealous of his abilities. Others say Izo is nothing but "passionate, driven, responsible, caring, and extremely intelligent." However, those comments usually came from people who had their reputation and lives riding with those statements being true. Friends, family, and other ninja have often tried comparing their traits to his uttering the phrase "Birds of a feather flock together." Very few have actually attempted to look deep into Izo to see what he's truly about. No one attempted to grasp his sarcasm or notice that he's very observant, heavily relying on visuals to learn. Izo is an intelligent, caring individual who emits sarcasm like a broken fire hydrant expels water. Izo tends to be pretty level-headed, thinking with his head verses his emotions. He isn't one to take much serous often laughing in the face of difficult situations.

╫Background Information╫
Izo was born to Asami Senju and Hisoka Chikamatsu. Asami was very attached to her father, often calling him the single thing that kept her world spinning. What Asami didn’t know about her father was that he was a spy working for Otogakure. He was secretly teaching Otogakure ninja justsu from the hidden sand village and informing them of the Kazekage’s every plan and thought. When news of this reached the Kazekage he ordered Asami’s father to be killed; sending his personal Anbu to do the job. Later that night Asami’s peaceful sleep was interrupted by the sound of someone entering her house. Unaware of what to do Asami ran down the hall and into her father’s room. He was already was already awake, sitting on his bed with a kunai in both hands. He quickly instructed shoved her in his closet, hiding her behind clothing. Through the small holes in the rice paper Asami watched an Anbu walk into her father’s room. He approached her father and the two of them talked for a little while, what looked like a casual conversation soon turned violent as the Anbu quickly slid his sword through the father’s neck. She gasped as she watched small dark crimson droplets of blood crash onto the cloud white sheets of her father’s bed.
She watched as the Anbu carefully removed the sword, cleaned his sword with the bed sheets, and placed the blade back in its sheath. Her slight breathing turned to quiet hyperventilation as she watched the Anbu walk up to the closet holding her father’s kunai. She screamed as he sliced open the paper and crouched down to meet her height. Her whole body flinched as the Anbu gently grabbed her face. “You’re old enough to remember…One must always stay loyal. Without loyalty one has nothing.” Still in shock, Asami nodded at the Anbu’s words and watched him quickly walk out of the house. Once she was finally able to grasp the entire situation Asami burned her ninja headband, renounced the Suan blood running through her veins, and fled the village. The Kazekage at the time simply added her to the list of missing nin and went on with his life. After a few years Asami grew stronger and planned an assignation of the Kazekage. In her mind he was the one responsible for her father’s death. The Anbu couldn’t do anything without an order.
Twenty years later, when she turned thirty five, she finally set her plan in motion. What she didn’t take into consideration was that the Kazekage already knew she was coming. Instead of his personal Anbu he sent a younger high ranking Anbu named Hisoka Chikamatsu to intercept Asami. They met about two miles outside the village gate, and proceeded to fight. Surprisingly Asami was able to keep up with Hisoka’s ninjutsu and it seemed there where evenly matched until Asami switched from using Katon styled jutsu to Raiton style easily cutting through Hisoka’s Doton’s defence. After a couple failed attacks Asami overpowered Hisoka holding him at knife point. Hisoke smiled and quickly switched from using normal jutsu to using his puppets. He moved his favorite human Senju puppet, which he had hiding under the sand, and quickly made it form the hand signs for Mokuton: Jubaku Eiso. He watched as branches quickly engulfed Asami’s body preventing her from moving an inch. He knew what he had to do. His mission was to kill her, but he couldn’t bring himself to end her life. The two of them talked and quickly fell in love. Hisoka convinced the Kazekage to allow Asami back into Suna under one condition, Asami had to apologize to the Kazekage. After several hours of pleading Hisoka convinced Asami to apologize and she moved back into Suna.
While Izo’s mother carried Senju DNA only his father, Hisoka, had the ability to use wood release techniques through the use of his puppet; a skill that Izo’s mother, Asami, secretly envied. It was Asami’s envy and hatred for Hisoka that drove their marriage into the ground. The day Hisoka decided that he finally had enough and was ready to leave his wife was the day they both found out she was pregnant. Their child was the, much needed, glue that held their family together. In light of this discovery Asami and Hisoka agreed to work everything out and Hisoka left his rank in the Anbu; telling the Kazekage that he would need to have a less dangerous life in order to care for and protect his family. After Isamu was born Hisoka followed in the footsteps of his ancestors and opened up a puppet shop to provide for the family. They relit the fire of their love, and everything seemed to be looking up for the family. Then everything changed…
Hisoka’s father died and they all attended the funeral service. Without informing Hisoka, the Kazekage thought it would be a good surprise to send Hisoka’s his father’s anbu mask. Hisoka was sleeping in his room when the Kazekage’s messenger delivered the package. Curious of what was in the package Asami ripped it open and instantly dropped the mask on the floor. She read the letter addressed to Hisoka over and over again trying her hardest not to believe it. “I know you’ve given up your anbu rank, however; your father would have wanted you to have this keepsake. Remember him as the strong, loyal ninja he was. ~Suna’s Kazekage.” Asami looked at the mask on the floor and slammed her foot through it. The mask shattered but still trough the broken pieces Asami could still see the masked face of the man who killed her father. Drunk with rage Asami wandered into the bedroom where Hisoka’s was slept and watched him inhale and exhale peacefully. A small tear escaped her left eye as she stabbed him repeatedly; killing him in his sleep. Asami wrote a note to her son and fled the village once again.
Izo came home moments after Asami left and found her note. He slowly walked into his parents room and found his father lying there, bloody and life-less. He dropped to his knees, sobbed, and took control of his father’s favorite puppet. He used Mokuton: Jubaku Eiso to bury his father’s body. The tree grew and ripped apart the house destroying all evidence of the events that took place. Isamu nailed his award to his father’s tree. Sadly he didn’t get to inform him that he just past the Chunnin exam or even discuss his day like he did in the past. To cope with the grieving Isamu threw himself into his skill and success. He past the Jounin exam two years later and decided the travel the world. After a few years of finding himself and honing his skills, Isamu returned to Suna hoping to start a new life.
