Appearance: Iseul is the sort whom is jaunty, with really rare, blonde hair, and of average height and girth. She is physically diminutive, being one people had an unfortunate tendency to pick up in her youth. Her hands end in long, delicate fingers with short nails but her measurements and body type are very mature, with a buxom chest, narrow ribs and torso, and the carve of her hips and legs to add to her full figure.
She wears her hair rather long, preferring to let it flow down her back or over her shoulders. It is naturally wavy and ends around the dip in her spine, making it rather noticeable. When she has to do work or be relatively presentable, she favors braids down her back. If she needs to get it out of her face, say, to repair a weld on the foredeck, she might tie it back.
What really seems to get people is her face. It's framed by gently curling blond hair with expressive but slightly washed-out emerald green eyes that tend to remind people of mint green and other lighter shades. Her lips are full and her nose is pert. With long eyelashes to draw attention and the unfortunate tendency to "smolder" with looks of lust, teasing, or closed emotion, Iseul is a master of donned expressions. This helps her win people over and in business deals.
Wardrobe: Iseul tends to wear fitted clothes, but not the sort that constrict her. They hug her body for the most part, with a few folds of cloth's leeway to move about in. First is a sleeved affair made from darker bruising green tones and ending at the elbows. It is designed not dissimilarly to a tunic split along the sides and folded across the chest where it is secured. Peaking out from below are relatively loose, tented black pants tipped in sheer white shoe straps to secure them. She ends the outfit off with unassuming boots, a cuff on her left arm, a lighter green cloth belt, and the occasional smudge of grease.
When meeting with officials or conducting business, she'll wear something of a higher fabric count, typically made of silk and depicting a pattern. This outfit is generally incarnated as a long-sleeved, high-collared shirt in lighter colors and a pair of sheer, form-fitting leggings in dark greens, blues or in shades of black. Often times she will even adopt a leather cincher about her waist over the gently loose shirt, which, if she can get away with it, will almost always be dyed in warm tones. The shirt itself has a dropping neckline along its opened buttons, with sharp, pristine collar corralling her neck. On occasion she'll end the outfit with the layered leather thigh guards popular with samurai.

  Iseul is a rare talent among earthbenders, mainly for her affinity with the element. As such, she is actually able to divine the composition of earthen materials over a mile around her. She can do this through two ways; directly ingesting dirt or stone, or reaching through her connection to her element into the ground and "feeling" her way through the layers. This ability has come in handy when choosing where to mine and, as such, makes her integral to the process.

  Being able to finely sense stone and earth in a metal object is what gives a metalbender the ability to perform the task assigned them. It is vitally important to reshaping and controlling obdurate metal. This ability also ties into her capacity as a highly-skilled bender and makes her generally more powerful. Through this ability, she can read into the materials buried in the ground and maximize her effectiveness.

  It is the "ultimate shield"-a facetious name and a bit too exuberant for exact interpretation. It is made of a rough, block-y approximation of armor, using an amalgamation of nearby stone materials. It can be worn fully, or in increments, though as it is heavy, it adds additional weight, lowering mobility in exchange for defense. Part of the reason for its flamboyant moniker stems from the ability to reinforce or repair it using what almost passes as osmosis through the ground below.

• Applications: Defensive/offensive mid-range weaponry. By metalbending, Liang may propel either coin at varying speeds to create slicing or impacting actions. The former attribute atypically applies to the application of the smaller of the two coins, with the latter applying to the larger coin.
  
• Appearance: The Coins of Lao Jeng are two simple coins, with five half-moon notches cut at regular intervals along their edges, a circle with five pinprick holes ringing it cut out of the center, and a starfish with five limbs embossed on the sides known as "heads." one is somewhat larger than the other, being half again the latter's size. On the "tails" side of the larger coin is a depiction of nightshade in relief. The smaller has a pentacle carved into its face. Normally these coins may very well be mistaken for common change and be used in a transaction-perhaps for a snack from a street vendor?-however the smaller coin is about the size of a tangerine. The larger is also fairly thick, while the smaller has sharp edges. They're rather hard to ignore.
  
• History: Sometime in the distant past, a man named Lao Jeng designed a few large-scale models for new currencies. The idea was never put into effect, and the coins made their ways into the myriad junk drawers of society. Lao Jeng enthusiasts found the artifacts to be something of a minor treasure, and so the coins are coveted. There are very few of these coins made, and they are spread far. Iseul managed to come into ownership of two, which is something of note.
