Hey fellow students! My birthday is on September 9, Some of you may know me, others may not. But if you don't you are welcome to still attend to support your fellow students.I don't actually have a preference of what I want you to get me, so you have freedom to get whatever you find suitable for a 12 year old, like me!

Destiny Maria Starr, bounced in her spot by the door, eager to get her bday party started, it was her 12th bday and she was uber excited, to meet and greet all the other students that attended Hogwarts, the only time she mingled was when she was in class, but she was super excited.
She took a breath...to calm herself down before standing and putting her hands behind her back and interlocking her fingers. She smiled at the students coming in "Welcome to my 12th bday party, mingle and enjoy yourselves" she said

Maergrethe was giddy with excitement, Her friend Destiny was having her 12th bithday today! She had always wondered how one would celebrate their birthday while at school. Now she'd actually get to know! Of course next year she'd be able to find out for herself. She rather looked forward to that.
She entered the bright room which had been decorated with some streamers and balloons. She beamed brightly when Destiny welcomed her to the birthday party.
"Happy birthday Destiny!" She exclaimed and threw her arms around her friend giving her a big hug. "Am I the first one here? Would you like some help with greeting and directing people where to put presents?" She asked glancing around.
When she spied the bare table in the corner she skipped over and laid down her small box on the table and tweaked the bow a bit before she glided back over to Destiny. "I think you're going to like my present." She said with a wide grin.

Destiny nodded her head as Maer came in "thank you and yes I would very much" she said eagerly."i'm only one person so I can't be doing so many things at once..the assistance is grateful" she put in before gesturing around.
She nodded her head "yes you are the first one here" she put in as she tilted "I would have thought Liam came with you" she said.

Naomi beamed as she clutched a small, creatively wrapped parcel in her hands, it was at times like this the young second year was grateful to have an older brother. She had begged him to get something pretty from Hogsmeade on his trip since she was a year short of being able to go herself. She wasn't sure exactly what Andrew had managed to get from the elusive place but whatever it was usually turned out to be the best things he could give.
The female Griffindor had heard of a party going on in one of the upper levels of Hogwarts and she wasn't going to pass up any opportunity this year to make new friends and strong bonds. This was going to be her chance to find a crowd to fit into! Naomi gripped her Alder wand in case she found herself dropping it on the shifting stairs. Another thing she was glad for, she wasn't a fresh witch at Hogwarts so finding her way around the castle was much less hectic and mind boggling than it had the previous year.
Giggling mentally as she hurried along Naomi paused at the expansive door, she didn't know who this destiny girl was or what house she belonged to but the colors decorating the place whispered Hufflepuff. The sound of cheerful voices drew the Gryffindor into the expansive room. She didn't want to break the moment the two seemed to be having but she didn't want to stand there awkwardly either. Clearing her throat Naomi spoke. "Hey! Which one of you is Destiny? I have this present for her." Pausing briefly to glance from one to the other Naomi smiled. "She is here right?"

Maergrethe grinned back at Destiny and clapped her hands. "Excellent. I shall do my best!"
"Oh he's coming, I think he was trying to find something nice to wear to your party." She said with a small giggle.
It was the first time she had ever seen him so nervous about anything. "Well I won't be the last, Liam will be coming I can promise you. He was just trying to figure out whether or not to wrap your present or not. He wasn't ready when I wanted to go, so I told him to come on his own." She said with a small laugh.

Destiny rushed over to the girl that had walked in "That would be me" she said excitedly she extended her hand out to take the present "and welcome! This is Maer" she said gesturing towards her.
She nodded her head at what Maer said "ah..that would make sense" she said thinking about it, who knew he would be so nervous about coming to her birthday party, then again Liam rarely mingled in crowds she knew that for a fact and she had nothing against it, that made her like him all the more she smiled.

Maergrethe flipped her hair back and eyed the new comer closely. She knew her from somewhere..she was an older girl a second year wasn't she? And a gryffindor! "Nice to meet you Naomi," She replied walking up to join Destiny next to her. "I can take that for you and put it with the other gifts if you'd like." Maer offered holding out her hand for the wrapped present.

Naomi smiled, nodding her head politely. "Well happy birthday. I hope you like it." Reaching out to press the gift firmly into Destiny's hands, gazing off towards Maergrethe with a wave. "I'm not interrupting anything am I?" As Maer extended her hand and offered to take the gift Naomi blinked twice before shifting the gift off to the younger Ravenclaw. She hadn't met her before but at least she seemed friendly enough.

Destiny laughs lightly as Maer intervened, she wondered who else would show up...and she wasn't sure how she would take to a slytherin student attending her birthday party, the most recent slytherin she met seemed almost mean, she took a breath and I guess she would have to find out sooner or later. She was sure there were slytherins who weren't as mean. Maer was covering the greeting and the placing of presents so she was good with just chilling and meeting other students.
She beamed at the Gryffindor girl "I'm sure I will" she said excitedly "its nice to meet students from other houses" she put in with a smile. Naomi seemed like a nice girl and she could see them being friends.

Louvenia tugged at her shirt, and smoothed out her skirt and then sighed. Why again was she going to this birthday party for a girl she didn't even know? Oh right. Maegrethe had twisted her arm until she promised to come. Apparently the hufflepuff girl didn't have many friends and Maer wanted as many people as she could get to come. Louvenia sighed again and rubbed her arm. Man..did that girl know how to twist an arm. It was still really sore.
She ran her right hand through her bangs and nudged her glasses back up on the bridge of her nose and then took a deep breath. "You can do this, You can survive a kid's party." She mumbled and then plastered on a small smile on her lips and pushed the door open to the room where the party was happening.
She wasn't surprised to see that Maer was already there. She figured the overbearing girl would be there first. She was a bit surprised to see a Second year there.
"Hello Destiny, Maer's told me about you. It's nice to meet you." She cast a wary glance at Maer and then handed her the gift she had. "I imagine you've volunteered to help out, mind putting this where she wants it?"

Destiny nodded politely to the Ravenclaw girl that had just walked in "Hello, its nice to meet you too" she said with a smile "come on in enjoy,mingle and what not" she said happily, so far so good. No complaints or anything which was a good sign, okay so there wasn't that many people to mingle with just yet, she was just hoping her birthday party would be a success.

Maergrethe took the gift from Naomi and skipped back over to the table and laid it with the rest. She wondered just what kind of gifts Destiny would be getting. And when would her brother show up? He was taking an awfully long time getting ready.
"Oh no not at all. We were just waiting to see who showed up is all." She replied to Naomi's question.
"Yes it is nice to meet other students, you Naomi. You have an older brother that goes here don't you?" Maer asked, screwing up her face slightly as she tried to remember his name.
Maer was delighted when Louvenia entered the room, though she knew the other girl had been rather reluctant at first. "Well yes I have." She replied and took the gift from her roommate's hand. "I'd be glad to." She replied and skipped back to the table. Man..all this skipping was getting tiresome she though to herself as she made her way back to the other girls.
