So as per the instructions, here is my rant:

This is me: I have dabbled in forums for almost a decade - despite my lack of posting experience. (But I swear I am not a creepy old stalker. cat_stare ) I am rather "careful" with my written words in the sense that I take a while to phrase my mind, which ends up being sometimes too flowery, sometimes too cautions, sometimes too formal, and sometimes too argumentative. It is a habit - please bear with me (and feel free to tell me to shuttup by stuffing a cookie in my mouth). I am currently interested in general forum roleplay, just to get my feet wet. My roleplay experience has been loosely formed via MMORPG communities where I have been open to any gender character.

So what I am up to...( cat_gonk What, are yous stalking?!): Currently? Nothing solid. I tend to have a lot of half-materialized characters on the back-burner as a result of the rampages of my doodling muses. (They like to strike at the most inconvenient times. cat_rolleyes )

Getting to know the Crew...: **salutes** I shall be in your care. emotion_kirakira

Finding Official SDRP Tutors...: Oh, is that an invitation to stalk? cat_pirate

Meeting other members...: I shall bring the snacks! yum_puddi

What sorts of characters have you made?

Before I flood you with questions, I'm the official SDRP tutor of Settings and world making and extreme parachuting. So feel free to ask me anything.

I'm not established enough in RP to have a preference, I think; though I am usually comfortable in the fantasy genre (blame it on the MMORPGs). I tend to avoid sci-fi settings, since I am unfortunately not geek enough to converse in that area - but I do still enjoy lurking being in the audience.

My most-used persona is nicknamed "Rei" or "Yumi," which has been shaped via fantasy MMOPRGs. She has not been developed through actual written roleplay; though I am quite comfortable being in her shoes online. I have few characters developed through writing and perhaps only two are of any significance: William Amon Holsenfield (set in late-1880s/early-1990s AU) and Orpheus (set in modern fantasy).

Written roleplay experience is limited to profile of William (see above) and a one-on-one session (17k words total) using Orpheus.

So what are your advices on exploring this guild, Master Jikial of Settings and World Making and Extreme Parachuting?

As far as exploring this guild. . .well. . .someone might bite me for this but there isn't too much of one at the moment. We're in the process of a major over-haul and fixing the place up nice and pretty for all the eventual eventualities that are bound to spring up when we get the place in working order.

However if you're looking for a good roleplay to start up on Aelzwyr would be a safe bet.

There are plenty of people doing/offering to do one-on-one roleplays so if you'd like a little more polish I'm sure that can be arranged.

And if you're feeling froggy you can make an RP and have a go at it!

SiberDrac, Umbraja, Ivaylo_Sai, Isa-sama, and myself are all good at character creation (mine tend to be a little loopy, if not outright completely different).

We have the Academy but that needs a good shot of adrenaline, you can still sign up for the next classes.

If someone else browsing by would like to add more to it I'm sure we would thank you.

And to note; I'm always good for a chat.

The guild is hosting a writing contest that has a walk-in RP you could take a swing at. It hasn't picked up yet but it will soon so I'd suggest you keep an eye out for it! You don't need to participate in the contest to be in the RP and you don't need to submit any profiles or anything like that so I think it'd be a great place to test out your characters.

Did I hear mention of snacks? :D
