He was cold to the touch, pure and unabashed dispassion, a vacuum of warmth. In his inscrutable eyes one saw reflected the arrogance of a self-proclaimed lord, a champion by birthright who resented all others for their inferiority and their inexcusable audacity in sharing his company. He chose to watch without seeing, hear without listening to the plight of men and their crumpling society because he saw only the worst, thought only that these were the dregs of a civilization doomed to fall to its own iniquity. Above it all he stood, the pinnacle of rectitude and might and the risen angel of an ancient order lost to man and his depravity, demanding all pay homage to his old and timeless power. He found strength in frost and in the harsh winds of the bitter heart of winter; the cold was his domain, his time to thrive and a natural culler of the weak and all others unfit to tread the same green earth as he. In the snow and in the ice and in the cold that squeezed the very life from the earth, he was king.

Bishop is a youthful, fun-loving buck who manages to find fun in everything, capable of turning absolutely anything into a toy that will preoccupy him for hours. Everything can be, and is, an opportunity to exercise the creative muscles in his mind and he seems to delight most in making sport of the most improbable objects. The world entire is just a huge playground for this buck, and he seems to make a point of milking as much fun out of it as he possibly can.
Bishop sees the world through childish eyes, and tends to break things down into the simplest terms for understanding. He has a gift for reducing even the most complex concepts to their roots and painting them in an elementary light for better comprehension. Though his interpretations are not always 100% accurate, both he and his Chosen seem to share the sentiment that as long as the idea gets across, the images will suffice.
As easy-going and irreverent as his Chosen, Bishop has a tendency to simply bull his way over to whatever holds his interest, with little regard for the inconvenience caused. His is anything but a one-track mind, however, and his attention can rapidly shift from one object to another and back in the span of several heartbeats. At times, these rapid shifts cause him to forget his surroundings and lead him to trample everything in his path.
He is not the most convenient Guardian to have around because of these "accidents," but to his credit, he loves everybody and little scares him, though that can be attributed less to courage than to sheer impetuosity. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, and this baby goat seems a good reflection of his personality.

Personality:
Ecemalka is a minx. Cunning and sly and too smart for her own good, Ecemalka delights in helping her Chosen in any way possible. She has a particularly good grasp on human emotions, and can detect any fear or joy or anxiety radiating from the humans around her. Any emotions that provide opportunities for Auriel are ones that Ecemalka will point out for her chosen, as well as anything out of the ordinary that Auriel might not have noticed with her human senses.
She is as two-faced as she is cunning, and has no trouble cuddling up to someone and pretending to be his friend while sniffing out that person's insecurities and weaknesses at the same time and projecting them to her Chosen. Ecemalka is friendly when she wants to be, elegant, delightful, adorable, but rarely are those her true intentions.
In truth, she is a prim and proper doe, fussy about her appearance and unhappy should but a hair fall out of place. She is dainty and delicate and a lady, through and through, keeping well away from situations in which she could soil her glossy coat. Ecemalka thinks herself a queen in her own right, and demands as much attention to detail as any real royal might. She is quick to a temper and slow to forgive, and is capable of holding grudges forever.
She is easily flattered, though less easily moved, and though she does take a liking to people who appreciate her beauty, it takes more than a simple liking to deter her from helping Auriel to rob them blind.
Chosen:
History - Auriel Verily is at once a social climber and a thief. It began innocently enough, a stolen trinket here and there in the market, driven by her excessive love of all things shiny and pretty. Her little hobby soon escalated, until she was thieving wallets off of passersby, then from taverns, then from people of richer and higher social standings until she was moving from one con to another, constantly casing mansions and seeking easy targets in the street.
When the cons began, she told herself she was only stealing from the rich, the ones that wouldn't miss the odd pearl necklace or silver earrings. Then she began to envy their wealth and their decadent lifestyles, and somewhere down the line, she swore to herself that she, too, would have that one day, and she, too, would be invited to elaborate balls and would arrive sparkling from head to toe.
Now, her thievery fuels her social ascent, as she takes accessories from targets and adorns herself with them to attend social gatherings. In past years, she has moved from one town to the next, hoping to avoid detection and to one day find a new town to settle in and leave her thieving past behind.
Personality - Quick as a fox and sharp of mind, Auriel is a strategist at heart, laying out her plans step by step before executing them. She needs to have a base, something to depend on in all things before taking action, but is flexible enough in both mind and body to accommodate any changes that must be made along the way.
Auriel is her own best friend, and she knows it. Auriel is an enterprising soul, but keeps her own best interest at heart in all things. She will never attempt something that she isn't sure she can accomplish, and will turn away from a challenge if she cannot figure out a surefire way to overcome it. Her own well-being is her first priority, and she will willingly throw anyone else into harm's way to protect herself.
She is quick to spot weakness, and will pounce if she detects it. Auriel has no qualms against using others or taking advantage of their weaknesses for personal gain, although she does try to compensate them - if and when she can, though that judgment is highly subjective.
Though ruthless when it comes to her own benefit, Auriel is largely harmless and anything but a brave soul. Her best weapons are her speed and agility and ability to melt into the shadows and disappear. Any form of physical violence is beyond her, and should she be caught in a fight, she would surely lose.
Running is, indeed, a great asset to her, and at the first sign of distress, she will turn and run, be it a short-term situation or a more momentous one concerning her future.

Would like to go for a natural, tabbyish feel. Edits, if applicable: -- Other notes: Probably an outdoorsy cat with a bit of wanderlust. Loves to hunt and climb trees and even go for the occasional swim. Capable of taking care of itself and doesn't necessarily need a bonded, but sticks around simply because he doesn't want to be anywhere else. A little reserved with strangers and only gives his (maybe her) affection to those who earn it. Obtained! biggrin
