THE MAIN HQ



At the very heart of the inside of Deus Ex is the Main Headquarters. It is pretty obvious this is a pretty important building, one where all the security, surveillance, and even potentially sensitive information and weaponry is kept. The number of Hunters protecting this area is at its highest, for obvious reasons.

Once inside, the HQ contains a half-broken large staircase that goes up to a series of what looked like abandoned classrooms. Two rooms inside are entirely locked and cannot be opened with any prying. On the first floor is also a security room and inside...

[Ceres is Entering]

It had been a usual morning in Deus...

Until that alarm went off. Startled she was quick to grab at her uniform, pulling it on in a hurry as she ran out the door towards the main HQ of Deus. She had a suspicion she might do the most good being there, but only time would really tell.

She was startled at ALL to see what was outside, her mouth hanging agape. They...had gotten in? HOW. Memories of her first encounter with the horsemen lingered, shards, Eris, Heirs, Medea... it was all so fresh. But she really did not have time to give up right now, now was the time for action.

As a moon trainee she was here more to guard and to heal, not to fight as much.

[[Otto is entering]]

Otto nearly had a heart attack as alarms blared and everything flashed red. His hair was still damp from having had a shower every 5 hours since his last mission, empty bottles of Axe spray littering his floor. The message he received from the alarms sent a chilling feeling shoot up his spine.

They were here!?

He threw himself out of bed and got into his clothes, spraying himself in three or four more bottles of Axe before shoving on his hunter's coat. Otto ran to where he felt he'd be needed, where the most hunter bodies might be needed.

The Main HQ seemed like Sun and mist territory by the coats he saw, but he didn't know what he could be doing otherwise as a Death trainee. It wasn't like he was any good at his job anyway.

He summoned Tenya right away and waited.

Soren walked past whatever else might be in his way, intent on attacking the main base of the hunter's little island. Revenge would not bring back his priestess, but he felt sure Astridr would have taken pleasure in what they were about to do.

Now then, where to start.

He punched experimentally, fist glancing off the barrier. He needed to tap into more energy than this if he expected to do anything of merit.

Shaheen was practically grinning from ear to ear with malicious intent when she made her way into the thick of things, heading towards the area where she felt the most damage could be done, to hunters or otherwise.

When she hit the barrier, she frowned, then summoned her dagger to hand to lash out towards it, making a tsking noise quietly to herself.

Hold the fort. Rescue the students. Defeat the Hunters. Thirty minutes wasn't nearly enough time, he felt, and thus the zombie guided himself towards the main headquarters to see if he could help buy their siege time somehow. The emergency barrier probably had some sort of lockdown mechanism, if they could fight their way through the most heavily guarded building . . . Ho boil.

Planting his feet by the blond reaper, Mort charged up energy into Thor's palm and sent it at the barrier just as several more Hunters came on the scene. Whether or not having the two Horsemen would make a difference, he wasn't sure. Both their heights were imposing enough without the ghoul's sinister grin adding to it - well hopefully the Hunters got the same vibes.

He tried his best to look menacing, but the anger hadn't welled up in him enough. Not yet anyway. "Will be interesting . . ."

Entering!

Many things went on in deus, but impromptu fire drills were not that common. At least outside of the life labs where there was a safety drill almost every month. Involving far too much of the stoic athlete having to don the set of Firefighter gear and saving blow up dolls from the ravages of lamps with fake paper flames fluttering from them.

This however did not feel like a fire lamp drill.
"Must support the main building!" he roared to life, charging down from the dorms and into the side entrance of the building, in time to see the moonies gathering into place. "DONT LET THEM HAVE NO QUARTER, STAND YOUR GROUND!" he barked harshly, bumping the bottom half of the deactivated chainsaw on Dakota's back leg.

Nidhogg however still wanted to have a snack. Dakota was too stringy and greasy to provide proper nourishment.

It had been a peaceful morning, a morning where Wilson gladly slept in before he lazily woke up and read a book. It had been, because now alarms were blaring in his ears. A quick look around the house revealed Gale was already gone, quick as ever. Squeezing one eye shut, Wilson reached for his hunter jacket and shrugged it over his hoodie, a new one (Wilson cast a despondent gaze to the stinking hoodie in the trash). He might have sprayed some air freshener all over himself before he rushed for the main headquarters, scrambling to put on his mask and shrug on his backpack.

Hunters ran all over the place. He only glanced at the suns and mists blazoned on the coats before he searched for familiar faces. “Ryan! Kat!” he called out.

A polite stare at Dakota.

Sighing quietly, Wilson stepped toward a dark-skinned horsewoman. "I'm afraid I can't let you do that."
