Personality: Serena is very laid back and easy to love. She can be hotheaded at times and can have quite a temper when mad. She is also very protective of the ones she cares for, especially when it comes to her 3 brothers, her twin and her younger twin brothers.

╫Background Information╫
When Shar and his wife, Kattara, got married, nothing prepared them for the rides they were about to take. 6 months after they were married, they found out that Kattara was pregnant, 4 months pregnant to be exact. It wasn't until she was 6 months pregnant that they found out that she was having fraternal twin, a boy and a girl. The doctor said that based on the way the twins were laying that the boy would be born first. However, the doctor was wrong. When Kattara was 5 weeks away from due date, she went into labor. Everyone was expecting the boy first but out popped little Serena. Born at exactly 2:21pm, Serena was a healthy baby...or so they thought. At 2:26pm, her twin brother, Kenshin Ranndall Hemora was born. As their first days of life went on, the doctor noticed that Serena wasn't moving her left arm. They did some tests after the consent of the parents and found out that Seren'a left arm was partially paralyzed. The doctors told them that by the age of three, the arm maybe fully paralyzed. But the doctor gave the hope that she might gain full use of the arm, too. Shar and Kattara held onto that hope. Back at their house, Shar's companion, Shaista, had welcomed two pups of her own. Shar had gotten permission to bring in her pups to the twins and see if they went to his children. He smiled when the little girl pup made her way to his son and the little boy pup made his way to Shar's daughter. It made him proud that they were worthy enough to have this connection. A month later, Shar and Kattara were able to take the twins home. There, a eager Shaista awaited her companion and his wife to return with her new charges. Shaista licked the tops of the twins heads proving her acceptance of the twins. As the twins turned one, Shar and Kattara noticed that Serena barely moved her left arm. However, Shar and Kattara still held on to the hope that she will gain movement in her arm and it paid off. When Serena and Kenshin turned three, Serena had nearly gained most of the normal movements in her arm. She was able to play with her twin and their companions who were almost as big as they were.
As time went on, the twins became 5 years old and Shar and Kattara came to the twins and told them that Kattara was going to have another baby....well two more babies. Serena and Kenshin were excited. This time the twins were identical. Serena followed her father, Shar, around the house trying to help get ready for the new arrivals with her companion, which she named Kinsan (pronounced Key-San), right behind her. Kenshin stayed by his mother's side with his companion. Kenshin's companion was named Haruhi, after his grandmother. It was safe to say that Serena was a daddy's girl and Kenshin was a mama's boy. As time went on, their mother grew sick. Her illness didn't effect the babies, but it made her very weak. Delivering normally had a high possibility of killing her. Kattara and Shar talked it over. Shar walked outside with the doctor, away from the children and told the doctor that Kattara was going to sacrifice herself to bring life into this world the right way. 2 months before Kattara was due, Shaista brought some good news into the house, she was with pups again. But still sadness hung over the house. When it came time to bring the twin boys into the world, Kattara wanted to have some alone time with her children. Kattara took on the saddening task of telling her children that when mommy goes to sleep after she brings their brothers into the world that she wasn't going to wake up later. That is the first time the twins didn't want to have baby brothers. They didn't want to loose their mother. When the time drew closer, Kattara handed the children off to a nurse and had her take them out to the playground at the academy, away from the hospital. She didn't want her children to be around while she was giving birth. She didn't want them to see how much pain this second set of twins were going to put her through, especially since she was very weak. Sojiro Yahiko Hemora was born at 9:05am and Sanjiro Sanosuke Hemora was born at 9:17am on July 30. When the birth of the twins had been done, Kattara wanted to spend her final moments with her family, including the two new twins. Kattara had all four of her children on the bed with her and her husband by her side. Kattara felt her moment drawing near. Kattara asked her two oldest to give her one last hug and kiss good night. The older ones did as they were told. She kissed the tops of the newborns' heads and gave her husband one last kiss. She whispered her final words of "Never forget I am near" right before her final breath. After her final breath, nothing but the sounds of Serena and Kenshin's wails could be heard throughout the hospital and even into the surrounding neighborhoods due to the open window.
Years went by and the loss of their mother didn't get any easier. When Shar brought his youngest children home, Shaista's pups went to the boys as per usual. Shaista had twin girls. Sanjiro named his companion Kattara not knowing that it was their mother's name until he was 4, and Sojiro named his companion Lankia. A few more years passed and now the identical twins were now 4 and the fraternal twins were now 9. Sanjiro and Sojiro always asked why they didn't have a mommy. Finally, Serena told her brothers that Mommy went up into the sky to watch over them as they lived on. Serena didn't know if they understood or if they just accepted it to be true because Serena said it was. The next year, Serena and Kenshin entered into the Ninja Academy. Sanjiro and Sojiro went over to their uncle's house while their father went to work in the hokage mansion. Life went on as normal for the next few years until Sanjiro and Sojiro turned 7. It was the night of Sanjiro and Sojiro's birthday when tragedy struck. Someone who had it out for their father broke into their house during the celebration and kidnapped Serena. Thankfully, her father was fast on his feet and went and rescued his daughter, but at a price. Shar got his daughter back after killing her captor. Shar was holding Serena close to calm her down when his killer killed him right infront of Serena. Shaista felt a break in her connection with Shar and ran after the two. When she arrived on the scene, Serena was under Shar, slowly becoming covered in his blood, and Shar had a knife imbedded in his back. Shaista howled summoning the family. Serena's aunt carried the traumatized child back to her house to clean her up and get her to bed hoping that sleep would erase the memory of that night. Kenshin and the twins went and stayed at their other aunt's house. That night, however, Serena screamed bloody murder the whole night because of what had happened. The next day, while Shar's body was being prepared for burial, Shaista called together the elders and they discussed who would be head of the family now. The elders considered that maybe Kenshin should become head since he was a male, but he was also too young by their clan laws. Serena was the only option since she was the closest to the time where they cut it off for when twins were born. After the funeral of Shar, the elders came together and announced that Serena was now the head of the family due to clan laws concerning twins, but while they have yet to reach the age of 14, as their voice, their father's sister would take on the task of doing the paperwork and what not with the final consent of Serena. On Serena and Kenshin's 13th birthday, they both experienced the Wolf Transformation. In having that, Serena had the opportunity to take the head at the age of 13 officially and woudn't have to rely on their aunt. Serena was then officially corinated into the Head of the Clan.
As time went on, Serena became a Chunin at the age of 16 and then by the time she became 18, Serena had become a Jounin. Since then she has ran the clan with ease and skill and not one person had a problem with how she ran their clan. Since her father's death, Shaista had another 4 pups before she too passed away. Shaista's 4 pups, not the ones that became companions went on to be a small pack that Serena called upon sometimes when she was going into the heat of battle. These wolves along with her companion, Kinsan, are her own personal pack. Serena and her 3 brothers each named one of the remaining pups. The names of the wolves are Shar, Sorichu, Shaista, and Sorichi. When Serena and Kenshin turned 19, Serena had fallen inlove with a man who had asked for her hand in marriage. She gladly accepted but the wedding, in the end, was not to be. A month before their wedding, Serena's fiance was killed in battle. Serena was actually happy because while he was away, she found out that he had cheated on her and now he got what he had deserved. When Serena and Kenshin turned 20, Serena started having trouble with her left arm. Most days her arm will move like it always had and other days, the arm will stay prone along her side. Serena had the doctor check it out and he only told her that her arm was going backwards now and that by the time she was 30, she would loose all movement in her arm. This terrified Serena, that after all these years her arm would give out just like that.
