The White Box is an extra room behind The Black Box Studio; Film Study and Photography Classroom. It is open for use to the students in these specific classes or fields of work.

As it is well known to the student body as The White Box, similar to The Black Box's naming. For, when students first walk in, it's blindingly lit and almost entirely white, except for a plant in the far left corner.
When first entering [and after your eyes adjust] there are large lights that catch your eye. Not entirely unlike a modeling set. [more details in the main classroom]

On the wall opposite there is an empty white picture frame, below it is a paper reading:

Rules :
* When entering a photography contest one must believe in oneself.
* This is a photography contest, not a photo-manipulation contest, you should only crop the photo if necessary. Photoshop filters and effects applied to photos will be disqualified.
* The submitted photograph must be taken on the Reeds High School Campus within the last year.
* Must be submitted by time and date posted or it will not be accepted.
* Digital Photographs must be in JPEG (*.jpg *.jpeg *.jpe) format. They can be emailed to the school, you're teacher, or delivered VA Lillybell on a jump drive (usb memory stick), CD, or camera card.
* Film Photographs must be submitted to the teacher by the selected time for scanning. [time and date will be posted]
* Please include your name and grade along with the photograph.
* The entry must be the work of the submitter.
* By submitting a photograph, you give Reed's school permission to use in the school paper, or school website. (credit to the photographer will be given, if used).
A limit of three (3) photographs may be submitted by each contestant.

Prizes
First Prize is a framed, matted print of the winning photograph, and a $50 Gift Certificate to Fred Meyer.
Second prize is a $25 Gift Certificate
Two Runners up will also receive a $10 gift certificate
Judging
*Things taken into consideration: focus, quality, originality and overall composition.
*A panel of judges will decide the finalists and winner of the contest.
*Judges are unable to submit photographs to the contest.
*Take the examples below into consideration.
*Find something around campus that not everyone may see, or pay attention to, but any photograph from around campus will be considered in the final judging.
*Please keep the theme "The Campus" in mind.
