 At the West Side of Nagi Island, is the the coast. It still has immense jungle surrounding it but is still the easier of the routes to get to the coast of the island than the other sides. ( Excluding the East Side )

Yuki was following her two team mates. She looked around slightly as they her at the West Shore, and wondered where they were going to start looking. She was just going to follow the team, she wasn't to good at tracking. But she might learn it from them.

Whatever the island may be, Meiji had to admit that it was a pretty beautiful place. The coastline on the west side, at least, was the epitome of nature's beauty if you ignored some of the debris poking out from behind some bushes. Debris meaning the remnants of someone's clothes and a shoe...and was that a skull over there on the other side of that log?
"Alright..." Meiji leaned against a tree (after quickly checking the area around and above her for any unwanted surprises) and began to reread the list of clues she'd grabbed before. "Now...that we're here...do any of these sound familiar to you...?" She herself had pretty strong suspicions about many of them - with some of them they really couldn't be any more obvious - but she was curious about what her new teammates had managed to come up with.

 Shun S. Shimada" From future honored prodigy..." [Ryo:]500 [AC:]0 [Split Num:] Two ♪──♪───Ｏ（≧∇≦）Ｏ────♪──♪ Tris entered the west side of the coast as he dragged his two partners alongside with him. He let go of their hands and sat on one of the logs," Ahh... The west coast... How beautiful and relaxing... The salty sea air... The splash of the blue waves... The peaceful jung-- Wait... What the eff is that!? The remains of somebody!? How could they make us camp on a murder site!?", Tris was shocked as he saw the dead remains hanging on the trees. "Hah... I guess we have to stick with this for awhile if we want to participate...", He sighed and decided to take his mind off it by listening closely to what Meiji had to say.
He shifted through some of his clues before he answered her question," Well, I had managed to solve quite a few on our way here... Well, many of these artifacts are well hidden within the depths of the ocean, I think that one is hidden in the Suna deserts, but mostly they are scattered around several villages.", Tris played with the side of his hair as he thought and spoke. He cleared his throat before talking again," Well, there are plenty of artifacts to go around for everyone, but the real test is how well we will work together when in combat with others or when trying to obtain one of the artifacts. I would like all of us to acknowledge each other's abilities and figure out how we can work with each other. I am not forcing you to, but we can work a lot better if we know each other's strengths and weaknesses.
Tris stood up and forced the colors in his body to fade away," I am just a clone right now because I wanted to take some precautions, but I will come out and speak to you in person. Suddenly, the real Tris slowly rose out of the ground and waved hello to the two," Hi~ It's a good think nobody had attempted to attack me! Because they would have been caught in my clone and have been blown to bits!", he said as he stretched his body. He walked around and faced the ocean," Anyways, I guess I should start off with my abilities... As you have seen, I am capable of using some Doton techniques and just to let you know I can also use Genjutsu although I am not very good at both! But my specialty is in my Kekkei Genkai, the Explosive release!". Tris turned around and formed an X with his arms across his chest. For a second all you could see were some curved lines going across his palms, but in that next moment the lines were replaced by evil looking, grinning mouths. " What I can do is use these to add my explosive chakra to some clay and give it the option to explode. This technique is very flexible so it could be very useful at times!", Tris took pride in his kekkei genkai but quickly put his hands behind his back in case he might scare them.
"Well... I have shown you my abilities, does anybody want to share theirs?", Tris said, tilting his head and giving them a smile.

Yuki jumpped as something exploded, and saw the body. Because at first she didn't want to look at him, she didn't seem to mind it much. She looked at Shun and then did a hand sign and put one hand out, and ice started to form on her hand. It was a ice rose. She gave it to him, and smiled very, very softly. "I make Ice... I'm from a clan called, Hyouton." She said softly and then looked at the water. "If you want we could walk on Ice till we see something." She said, trying to help, even if alittle. But then she looked back at him to hear his answer.

Meiji tilted her head and watched interestedly as Tris's clone faded away and the real Tris popped out of the ground. It was an understandable act, really, and paranoia was pretty much essential to a ninja's survival, but she was still a little irked. Mostly because she hadn't noticed the fact that it was a clone, even if it was a rather unconventional one.
So Tris could use Doton jutsu, some genjutsu, and had an explosive release kekkei genkai, she mused as she blinked at the...were those mouths?...on his palms. The skill set kinda suited him, she supposed - and she was more than a little curious about his kekkei genkai.
Then it was Yuki's turn, and as it turned out she was a Hyouton user. Ice. Meiji listened quietly, then quickly ran through her own skills in her head and began to list them out.
"I specialize in genjutsu...and I also...know some fuinjutsu," Meiji said softly. Then she abruptly remembered something and pulled up her sleeve, holding up her arm so that the other two could see the seal she'd drawn. "Speaking of which...if...my arm begins to glow...don't look at it unless...you use Kai..." She really needed to fix the seal so that it affected only enemies... "I can also use some Suiton techniques...and my kekkei genkai, my dojutsu...it strenghtens my genjutsu and works against other dojutsus..."

[Ryo:]500 [AC:]0 [Split Num:] Two ♪──♪───Ｏ（≧∇≦）Ｏ────♪──♪ Tris accepted the ice rose and watched the sun reflect off of it as he twirled it between his fingers," Thank you... Your creations are... Very beautiful....", Tris remarked. He was amazed by the details of the ice rose and he thought he could almost... just almost... compare it to his own art's magnificence. He looked back up at Yuki and smiled," I would love to walk on some ice with you but not just yet, I want to plan a few more things in our group.".
He sat down and listened to what Meiji had to say about her own abilities," Oh! So you are very skilled in Genjutsu huh... That's interesting, and because you can use suiton you can support Yuki's ice jutsu!", Tris commented on her techniques. He stood up and looked closely at the seal on Meiji's arm when she brought it out," I have never met anybody who used seals before... You must have good handwriting to create such fantastic things...". He was intrigued by her seal and suddenly decided to look at her hands, he held one in his own hands and felt the softness of it. When he realized what he was doing he jumped back and scratched the back of his head," Sorry... I was being a bit of a weirdo there wasn't I?", Tris asked.
He looked away from them and stared back out to the sea and thought up a way they could work together when in combat. In a few minutes he thought something up and revealed it to the two," Okay... I was thinking of how we should be if we are facing another squad. Here's how it's going to work... Meiji will stand at front, I will stand at the side, an Yuki will be close behind Meiji... It is going to be sorta like a right triangle.", Tris stopped to pick up a stick and draw a picture in the ground, using their first initials to show their location.
The way this formation is going to be is that Meiji, being a very strong Genjutsu user will try to screw with the enemys' mind as much as she can while I will try to attack them with my explosive clay. I am placed at the side because my explosive clay would work better if nobody is directly behind or in front of me, also I can support Meiji with my own Genjutsu. Yuki will be placed behind Meiji to protect our rear with her ice techniques. If Meiji's mind tricks do not work, then you and Yuki could switch places. If you do switch places, then Meiji could support Yuki with suiton combined with ice techniques. If things get to rough we will flee and scatter... Is that good with you two or does anyone want to change something?". Tris's tactician mind had taken over him, he felt like he had the responsibility of protecting the both of them, so he couldn't mess anything up when their lives are at risk.

Yuki guessed that he didn't understand what she meant and was happy that he thought her Ice was beautiful. "Thank you... I try really hard with roses, because I love them." She said softly and was getting to trust him more and more. She was smiling more and then listened to his plain, and lightly shook her head no, it sounded good to her. But if he was at risk she would have to protect him, she was like that.

"Theoretically speaking...explosive tags are also seals," Meiji pointed out amiably as Tris examined her arm. Then she jumped slightly as he took one of her hands in his. In a tiny part of her mind she noted she could kind of feel the imprints of those two mouths.
Aren't you always? she wanted to ask, but instead she settled for a grin and "It's fine, you're no weirder...than some people I know..." The 'some people' meaning Kazuma, actually.
She pulled down her sleeve and listened as Tris outlined his basic battle strategy. "It sounds good," she said thoughtfully. "But if we do end up scattering...we'll need to determine a place to meet up afterwards...or at least...a form of...communication..." she trailed off and thought of the communication seal she'd developed just before leaving Konoha. "I believe I have a seal which can help with that...but do either of you have anything...?"

We could meet at like a village academy...", Tris said quietly, Tris took out a piece of paper and a pencil from his pocket and wrote short notes on their plan and his teammates names. He walked in a small circle and thought about the Switch that was was going to happen," Huh? Oh... Communication? Well I don't have anything... Do you Yuki...", Tris trailed off.
He gave out a deep sigh and faced the two," I'm sorry that I forgot to explain this earlier... But I have a multiple personality disorder... And in a few minutes I will have to switch out with my other personality... He will have memory loss for a bit but that won't be a problem because I wrote him a message, anyways he tends to shy off from people because of his very ill temper... ", Tris thought about anything else he should tell them but had only one more thing to say. " I hope you can get along with him... If not jus--", Tris suddenly fell to the ground on his knees and held his stomach. His head hit the sand and he fought the pain, he looked up and smiled once more before his body relaxed he lost consciousness... But not for long.
In a few seconds he regained his senses and stood up, but or wasn't Tris anymore because now Shun took control," Huh? Who the crap are you people? Wait... Where am I...? Where the hell dis Tris take me! I have to head over to the Chunin Exams!", Shun asked. He gave the two a strong glare for awhile before he broke his gaze and stared out to the ocean. Shun remembered that the two communicated through pocket notes and he quickly read Tris's and closed his eyes as he realized that he is in the exams. Tris had added some stuff about protecting these two and crap but Shun had paid no attention to it. The only thing he was interested in was winning, and anyways why did He have to listen to Tris? Tris was the one who invaded his body! He glanced back at the two behind him and cleared his throat," A~hem... Hello... My name is Shun Shimada... And I am the one who owns this body... I hope Tris had explained earlier about my disorder... And... Yeah...", Shun had no idea what to say to these strangers. He looked back at the notes and carefully read the details of his team," So you're Meiji...", he pointed at Yuki," And you're Yuki", he pointed at Meiji. He continued to glare at the two and scratched his head," Umm... according to the notes... We have gone over his plan... No?".

Yuki looked at Shun, with a very confused look. "I'm Yuki..." She softly said, and then nodded. They did go over his plain, her expression got distant again, and looked away. She was back to normal, distant and cold.

"Regrouping back here could be troublesome depending on where we are," Meiji said thoughtfully. "So perhaps at a village academy or at the gates...would be a better choice." She paused and watched Tris's odd behavior curiously, then tilted her head at his explanation. Multiple personality disorder? She'd heard of it, but never thought she'd encounter someone with it...
Very ill temper? Oh dear... Meiji stuck her thumbs into her coat pockets and nodded slowly. "I understand," she said quietly. I hope we can all get along as well she thought, referring to their entire team. Then Tris fell down unconscious and Meiji started forward, but a few seconds later relaxed back against her tree when he jumped up again, with a noticeably different persona in control.
She tilted her head and matched not-Tris's glare evenly, mentally going through her techniques for one that might restrain him should he prove hostile. Then not-Tris read through thenotes Tris had scribbled down a few moments ago before introducing himself and incorrectly guessing their respective names.
"It's nice to meet you, Shun," Meiji said, wondering if she should just call both of them 'Shimada-kun'. "I'm Meiji..." She extracted her thumbs from her pockets, instead clasping her hands together loosely. "We briefly...discussed a strategy for battle. We were just talking about measures to take if separated...as well as forms of communication. And..."
Meiji paused, wondering if she should ask, then decided she might as well. "About your dual personalities...um, approximately how long do you each have control? I'm...assuming you cannot control it, but can you feel a switch coming on? How much warning do you have? Do the two of you have the same skills and skill levels? Do you eventually recall what the other personality has done in your absence?" It was a bit of a question bomb, really, but she couldn't help but wonder. If one personality couldn't remember what the other personality did, then time would be used up with explanations and playing catch up. If they only had a few seconds warning before the switch hit, then what happened if they were in a battle? A few seconds of inactivity on one person's part could easily mean the difference between life and death for all of them.
Speaking of which...Meiji glanced over at Yuki, who...well, the girl was always quiet, but now she was looking away with a somewhat distant look. Did she really like Tris that much, or was it just that she found Shun off-putting? Or maybe it was just Yuki's personality and she wasn't good around strangers. She certainly didn't seem to like Meiji much, after all.
Still, in the end all of them were stuck together for the time being so they could at least try to get along...maybe?

He noticed that the one called Meiji was retuning his glare with her own and the one called Yuki had little to say but he ignored the two. Shun rubbed two hands together and shivered, he frowned and walked closer to the jungle, but he was still close enough to speak. He looked down and kicked the piles of sands," Communication? Separation? Well I could create clay birds if anybody ever got lost but...", Shun said awkwardly.
He didn't know what to say to these strangers and it was angering Shun, what made it worse was that he hated how he had to pair up with people. He would prefer doing these exams alone because he couldn't trust anybody. He couldn't trust his own village because many people believe he is bad luck and hated him, also he just didn't trust other villages... But well, now that Shun is in this situation, he had to deal with it.
Shun squatted down to the sand and picked up a handful of it and then loosened his fingers to watch the grains of sand fall down. He repeated this action as he thought of nothing in particular before he turned his head back up to listen to what Meiji was saying. He grinded his teeth as the girl gave him a giant load of questions," Calm down with the questions! I can't answer so many at once! And do you think I know some of those things! I have been trying to figure some of this out myself!", Shun barked at Meiji. He stood up and his hands balled into fists, he was angry but he knew better than to get in a fight with someone who wanted to work with him.
He sat back down and closed his eyes as he tried to relax for a bit. He took a deep breath and spoke again in a calmer tone," Sorry... I'm just no good with people... And for your questions... What I have figured out that my Switch happens from between half a day to three full days... I also get shards of Tris's memories from here and there over time... Also our abilities are the same... But we have different tactics... Tris also told me through the notes that he is able to feel the switch coming on ten minutes early before it happens... Hah... and that's all I know", Shun explained. He rested his head on one of his fist on peeked at the two from an eye to see if anything would happen.

Yuki walked up to Meiji in a protective way as Shun yelled at her, and gave a cold glare at him. But that stopped when he said sorry. She wasn't very trusting around people ether. Even her own village as well, but she was trying to not to get to close to Meiji because she was in a different village and probably wouldn't see her again after this. She looked at him, as he was acting the calmer. But she had a different reaction when her own village thought she killed her own parents. She looked down and backed away from them both abit. Right now, she just wanted to disappear. But she had to try to get along with them, so she sighed and looked down, thinking to herself.

"About the communication part...I have a seal I can draw on all of us to communicate, although your birds could work as well," Meiji said thoughtfully. The birds would probably be the more likely option, actually, since village enmity was deeply ingrained and she kinda doubted they would let her draw a seal on their bodies. She glanced at Yuki. "Do you have any ideas on that, Yuki-san?"
Yup, definitely opposites...though I can't really blame him. That really was a lot of questions... Meiji smiled sheepishly. "Ah, yes...sorry, but you can't blame me for being curious, ne?"
Meiji blinked at Yuki briefly as the smaller girl walked up and glared as Shun was yelling and gave her a small smile. Then she turned back to Shun and listened carefully, mulling over what he said.
"It's fine...so between half a day to three days...? That's a pretty large difference...and there's no pattern to how long they are each time?" Meiji frowned. "The memories part...um, it shouldn't be too hard for us to catch you guys up, so that shouldn't be much of a problem..." The problem was what they'd do if a switch came on in the middle of battle, but she supposed Shun and Tris had something worked out for that. She still decided to keep an eye on them though. Either that or have Yuki do it.
"A-anyway...do you know the contents of this exam?"
