So you know how the formula for Hp is 10+CON x Lvl?
And the formula for MHp is 10+WIS x Lvl?
Why are the Jutsu users getting ripped off with a 4+CHK x lvl?
I understand that this may have been done in order to prevent overpowered characters, but it honestly sucks that those of us who use jutsu have to pump so much into CHK just to use our attacks.
I propose that we change the CP formula to 10+CHK x lvl in order to equal the playing field.

I'll try to see if it unbalances the system in a way.
Only problem I could see is that all of the chakra costs in the system have been calculated with this cp formula in mind... but then again I am always relatively short on chakra with Hiru even though he has a huge boost to it from his clan. I'll look into it.

But maybe x5 would be more logical...

x10 might be a bit much. That would mean that chuunins would have the capability of using S-ranked jutsus... and as sexy as that would be for Batsu it would be unfair.
But I will side with Qyp, x5 will be okay.

as of now with one of my current characters
4+CHK xlvl gives me: 4+79x40= 3320 (for a level 40 concentrating in CHK)
10+CHK xlvl gives me: 10+79x40= 3560 (only a 240 chakra difference with my stats)
But 240 is maybe another round on one of my jutsu that take a shittun of CP to hold or another two or more low level jutsu.
It would be nice, but would you want some megalomaniac with three more jutsu possible running around smile
But, as far as being "sound" I dont see why it wouldn't be...unless people flood all their points into CHK now.

It would only give Masa and extra 84 cp if it were 10, putting her just under 300 total.
Because keep in mind, its not x4, its CHK+4 x lvl.
I entered the guild with the hope to be solely a ninjutsu user, but quickly gave up after the constantly emptying cp pool.
As proven in my last fight. With a +11 to CHK, I used 3 C rank jutsu and was tapped out. We know from cannon that characters are capable of so much more.

We know from canon that exceptional characters are capable of much more, ie. Naruto, Sasuke, Jounin, etc. For average ninja we see a lot less Jutsu, and more focus on weapons, or good usage of jutsu. It should also be noted that many of the ninjutsu ninja in the franchise make good use of weapons such as Kunai and Shuriken, which I'm willing to bet are in fact used more often then Jutsu.

That and jutsu are ownserness in this system, specially now we raised the dodge bonus.

Coming as someone who uses a lot of Ninjutsu, and one of those whom this might help quite a bit, I'm going to say no. But at the same time I could accept and not be bothered if it was passed. I just don't think that Nin and gen need any more of an advantage than it already has, system wise. However, if you get up to 4 approvals, I will change my mind and give you your 5th.
