Descriptions An unknown future where many have joined the struggle for power... ♛ Shinigamis
Shinigami (死神) are guardians of the souls who are going through the circle of transmigration. Namely, they are "balancers. They exterminate Hollows who did evil in the World of the living; they ensure the safe crossing of souls - the Pluses who have lost their way after death - by giving them a soul funeral. They possess high Reiryoku and a body of Reishi. They are invisible to those without spiritual powers.

♚ Royal Family
The Royal Family, merely refers to the Spirit King and the Royal Guards. The Spirit King rules over all souls, not just Shinigamis, but Hollows as well. 'He', as well as his guardians, take a neutral stance in wars, and only appear to halt any wars they believe are unneeded. They possess unknown powers, and often disguise themselves as other races (Hollows / Shinigamis). Only the Soul King and Vice-Commander knows all the identities of Royal Guards, the ranking members do not know the others! However, none of the ranked members, including the Vice-Commander, know the identity of the Soul King. They merely know him as a shadowy outline who sits upon the throne in the King's Realm.

♕ Hollows
Hollow (ホロウ)are a race of creatures which are born from Human souls who, for various reasons, do not cross over to Soul Society after their death and stay in the Human World for too long. They are corrupt spirits with supernatural powers that devour the souls of both living and deceased Humans. Hollows settle in Hueco Mundo, but can cross over to the Human World and Soul Society.
An Arrancar (アランカル), is a Hollow that has removed its mask and has gained Shinigami-like powers. Espadas are highly ranked and powerful Arrancars chosen by the Rulers of Hueco Mundo.

The Bounts (バウント)are a group of Humans that live by consuming Human souls (Pluses), as well as Shinigami and Quincy souls which potentially increases their abilities. Bounts are living beings similar to the Quincy, the difference being they have a special component that is encompassed by a Human soul. Bounts have the unique ability to absorb Human souls, making them their own. It is as a result of this ability, that have named Bounts at various times in Human history as "vampires".

♗ Humans
A Human (人間) is a living being who appears in Bleach. Most who live in the Human World are Humans. A Human's body, like everything else in the Human World, is constructed out of Kishi (器子 and contains a Soul, bound to it by the Chain of Fate. The majority of Humans are completely oblivious to the dangers they are exposed to from Hollows and other evil spirits.
